  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
The Buccaneers will give Jameis Winston one more chance this season. If he continues to play very inconsistently under Bruce Arians, or if he continues to grope Uber drivers, he won’t be back for 2020.

Jacob Eason, a former first-round staple of my mock drafts, is off to a good start at Washington. He was once the projected No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, but dropped off because of his injury and transfer. Now that he’s thriving for Washington, he should be back in first-round consideration.

Pick change; previously Jake Fromm, QB

  2. Minnesota Vikings: Troy Dye, LB, Oregon
The Vikings struggle to cover in space, so I expect that issue to be prevalent this season. Perhaps they’ll finally upgrade their linebacking corps.

Troy Dye is a very athletic linebacker with great coverage skills.

  3. Detroit Lions: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
This might be controversial, but Kerryon Johnson has disappointed as Detroit’s starting running back. I don’t think the Lions will go out of their way to find an upgrade, but if one falls into their lap like this, they may pull the trigger.

D’Andre Swift lives up to his name concerning that attribute, but vision is his best strength.

  4. Seattle Seahawks: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama
The Seahawks just surrendered 400 passing yards to Andy Dalton, and they had no answer for John Ross. Safety help is desperately needed.

Xavier McKinney was the best safety on Alabama’s roster last year, despite the presence of Deionte Thompson.

  5. Cleveland Browns: Walker Little, OT, Stanford
Perhaps the Browns will think twice about entering the season with Greg Robinson as their left tackle. They desperately need help on the offensive line.

Walker Little was the 25th-overall player in his recruiting class. An athletic tackle who is proficient in both pass protection and run blocking, Little will undergo knee surgery, but should be ready by training camp.

  6. Las Vegas Raiders: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
The Raiders planned to have Antonio Brown as their top receiver in 2019, but their plans went awry. Here’s a new No. 1 receiver to replace him.

CeeDee Lamb is a terrific route runner with great hands.

Pick change; previously Laviska Shenault, WR

  7. Dallas Cowboys: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
The Cowboys signed Jason Witten this past offseason, so they’ll be looking for a long-term solution at tight end.

The athletic Albert Okwuegbunan had a coming-out party against Georgia and should be the first tight end off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft.

  8. Green Bay Packers: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
Blake Martinez is entering his contract season. The Packers don’t have much salary cap space, so they may allow him to walk. If so, a new inside linebacker will be needed.

Dylan Moses, a former five-star recruit, missed a chunk of his freshman campaign, but was very productive as a sophomore. Unfortunately, Moses tore his ACL early in 2019.

  9. Miami Dolphins: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
The Dolphins need to add tons of talent around Tua Tagovailoa to give him a fighting chance. They have so many holes on offense that almost every position makes sense. Najee Harris might be the best offensive player on the board.

Najee Harris was one of the top recruits in the country in 2017, and he showed off his talents as a freshman. He’s been tremendous again this season.

  10. Buffalo Bills: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
The Bills scouted defensive ends very extensively ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft, but didn’t select an edge rusher. Perhaps they’ll make amends for that next April.

Yetur Gross-Matos registered a ridiculous 20 tackles for loss in 2018. His potential is off the charts.

Pick change; previously Jon Greenard, DE

  11. Los Angeles Rams: Nick Coe, DE/DT, Auburn
The Rams will need to replace Ndamukong Suh on their defensive front in the near future. There will be some nice options next April.

At 6-5, 280, Nick Coe is an athletic freak.

  12. Las Vegas Raiders: Jon Greenard, DE, Florida
The Raiders added some edge rushers in the 2019 NFL Draft, but they still need another player to get to the quarterback.

Jon Greenard is a quick edge rusher who has a variety of moves.

Pick change; previously Yetur Gross-Matos, DE

  13. New Orleans Saints: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU
The Saints have a big need at receiver across from Michael Thomas. They tried to find a No. 2 wideout last year when they signed Dez Bryant. Here’s their chance to make amends for that.

Jalen Reagor is a blazing-fast receiver who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball.

Pick change; previously CeeDee Lamb, WR

  14. Kansas City Chiefs: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
The Chiefs have a big weakness at cornerback. They had to wait a year to upgrade that position, given that the 2019 NFL Draft class was weak at corner.

Jaylon Johnson has nice size (6-0, 190) and ball skills. He had a great 2018 campaign.

Pick change; previously Shyheim Carter, CB

  15. San Francisco 49ers: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty
Kyle Shanahan hates Dante Pettis for some reason. With that in mind, the 49ers may opt for a receiver early in the 2020 NFL Draft to pair with Deebo Samuel.

Antonio Gandy-Golden has great size (6-4, 220) and hands. Level of competition is a question mark.

  16. New England Patriots: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina
The Patriots have needed an interior disruptor for quite some time. They could obtain one with this selection.

Pick change; previously Jacob Phillips, LB
