  1. New York Jets: Kendrick Rogers, WR, Texas A&M
Wide receiver was another position the Jets were expected to address in the 2019 NFL Draft, yet they didn’t select a player to fill that need.

Kendrick Rogers has flashed some major upside, but he’ll need to show improved durability to be chosen in the first round.

  2. Cincinnati Bengals: Solomon Kindley, G, Stanford
The Bengals saw Clint Boling retire unexpectedly, so they’ll need to find someone to replace him.

Solomon Kindley has some impressive movement skills for a large interior lineman.

  3. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
The Steelers could use an early-round pick to challenge James Conner, especially with Benny Snell looking like a disappointment.

  4. Indianapolis Colts: Steven Montez, QB, Colorado
Jacoby Brissett has 13 more games to audition as the long-term answer for the Colts. Unless he’s great, I imagine Indianapolis will use an early selection on a quarterback.

Steven Montez’s accuracy isn’t great, but he has great upside as a quarterback prospect.

  5. Denver Broncos: Erroll Thompson, LB, Mississippi State
The Broncos were hoping that Devin White would fall to them. That didn’t happen, so here’s a solution for their inside linebacker woes.

Erroll Thompson projects as a two-down run defender.

  6. Miami Dolphins: Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville
The Dolphins have the worst, well, everything, and that includes the offensive line. They’ll need to protect Tua Tagovailoa.

At 6-7, 340, Mekhi Becton is a massive human being. Despite his size, however, Becton is athletic and flexible.

Pick change; previously Yasir Durant, OT

  7. Arizona Cardinals: Trey Smith, OT, Tennessee
The Cardinals signed Marcus Gilbert, but they still have severe offensive line woes that they must address. Gilbert’s injury isn’t helping matters.

Trey Smith would’ve been the No. 2 pick in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft if it weren’t for some serious injury concerns. Smith has gotten blood clots in his lungs, so I don’t know what that means for his playing status going forward. It’s a huge shame, as Smith is ridiculously talented.

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
The Jaguars could look into adding a talented receiver to go along with D.J. Chark and Dede Westbrook.

Collin Johnson has great upside and athleticism for someone with his frame (6-6, 212).

  9. Chicago Bears: Curtis Weaver, DE/OLB, Boise State
The Bears need some edge-rushing depth, especially considering that Leonard Floyd will be entering free agency soon.

Curtis Weaver had a ridiculous 11 sacks as a freshman. He’ll have to be an edge player in a 3-4 defense.

  10. Los Angeles Chargers: K.J. Costello, QB, Stanford
The Chargers need to find an eventual replacement for Philip Rivers, so perhaps this will be the year they do that.

K.J. Costello has a nice arm and experience operating a pro-style offense. It’s possible that he could emerge as a first-round prospect.

  11. Tennessee Titans: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
The Titans may lose Logan Ryan next offseason when he hits free agency. Here’s a potential replacement.

Jaylon Johnson has nice size (6-0, 190) and ball skills. He had a great 2018 campaign.

  12. Atlanta Falcons: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina
Here’s another player for Atlanta’s front seven, which needs all the help that it can get.

  13. New York Giants: Bradley Anae, DE, Utah
The Giants can’t generate much pressure on the quarterback, as they clearly miss Olivier Vernon.

Pick change; previously Khaleke Hudson, S

  14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
Unless Ronald Jones stops disappointing, the Buccaneers won’t have any sort of running game in 2019.

J.K. Dobbins entered 2017 as a backup, but overtook Mike Weber and had a terrific freshman campaign, showing off his great, explosive running ability.

  15. Carolina Panthers: Tarik Black, WR, Michigan
The Panthers could stand to add another receiver to go along with D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel.

Tarik Black has great size (6-3, 215) and speed, but hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

  16. Philadelphia Eagles: David Reese, LB, Florida
The Eagles don’t value linebacker very highly, but they’ll want to address the position after struggling to cover in space in 2019.

David Reese is an extremely tough run defender who was missed in the loss to Kentucky when Bennie Snell ran all over the Gators.

  17. Cleveland Browns: Yasir Durant, OT, Missouri
Given the Browns’ severe blocking issues, it wouldn’t surprise me if they spent back-to-back picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on offensive linemen.

Yasir Durant has work ethic problems, but is a talented prospect.

Pick change; previously Liam Eichenberg, OT

  18. Chicago Bears: Youhanna Ghaifan, DE/DT, Wyoming
Here’s another player for the Bears’ front seven. They could use another solid player in the defensive line rotation.

  19. Minnesota Vikings: Khalid Kareem, DE, Notre Dame
The Vikings could stand to add another edge rusher behind their two talented starters.

Khaleed Kareem generated lots of pressure for the Irish in their strong start last season. He has a nice frame (6-4, 265) with great upside.

Pick change; previously Jacob Eason, QB

  20. Seattle Seahawks: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
Will the Seahawks finally strengthen their offensive line and give Russell Wilson the protection he deserves? It could happen here, as the 2020 NFL Draft class seems packed with talented blockers.

Prince Tega Wanogho is an athletic tackle who could play on the blind side in the pros. He’s raw, so he’ll need to be coached up.

  21. Baltimore Ravens: Tyler Biadasz, C, Wisconsin
The Ravens spent just one pick on an offensive lineman in the 2019 NFL Draft, which seems like a big mistake.

  22. Miami Dolphins: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida
Again, the Dolphins need everything, and they could use an upgrade across from Xavien Howard.

CJ Henderson has good height (6-1), but needs to bulk up. He had four interceptions as a freshman. He has some great potential as a former four-star recruit.

  23. Indianapolis Colts: Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern
The Colts could use some linebacker help alongside Darius Leonard, as they struggled to cover Austin Ekeler in space during the opener.

Paddy Fisher was unbelievably productive for Northwestern despite being a freshman. He’s become one of the top linebackers in the Big Ten.

  24. Detroit Lions: Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon
It was surprising to see the Lions fail to address the offensive line in the 2019 NFL Draft. They’ll need to do that next spring.

Pick change; previously Tommy Kraemer, G

  25. Houston Texans: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
The Texans traded for Laremy Tunsil, but they could use an upgrade at right tackle if Tytus Howard sticks at guard.

Pick change; previously Mekhi Becton, OT

  26. Kansas City Chiefs: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
I’m not 100-percent sure that Damien Williams will pan out as Kansas City’s primary runner. Here’s a replacement for Kareem Hunt.

Travis Etienne is coming off a huge year. He should work to become a better receiver.

  27. Los Angeles Rams: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
Cornerback was the weakness of the Rams’ defense last year, so that’s a position they could target next offseason.

Kristian Fulton has first-round talent, but an extensive injury history could keep him out of the opening frame.

  28. Buffalo Bills: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa
The Bills signed some offensive linemen this offseason, but some of them are just short-term solutions. Here’s a right tackle for the long haul.

Tristan Wirfs, a 320-pound tackle, needs to improve his pass protection, but he’s a massive run blocker with first-round potential.

  29. Seattle Seahawks: Julian Okwara, DE/OLB, Notre Dame
The Seahawks needed edge-rushing help even before they traded away Frank Clark, so here’s someone else to help them get to the quarterback besides Jadeveon Clowney and L.J. Collier.

  30. Dallas Cowboys: Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama
The Cowboys signed Randall Cobb to give them an explosive threat out of the slot, but he’ll probably disappoint. Here’s a viable replacement for Cole Beasley.

Henry Ruggs, who caught a touchdown in the national championship, is an extremely fast receiver who was highly recruited coming out of high school.

  31. Green Bay Packers: Trey Adams, OT, Washington
What is it with talented tackles named Trey being unable to stay healthy? Trey Adams would be a top-10 prospect if he didn’t have any injury problems. Adams was a fixture in my 2018 mock before tearing his ACL. He returned to Washington, only to miss the entire season with a back injury. Perhaps the Packers will take a chance on him at the end of the second frame.

  32. New England Patriots: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
Last week, I wrte, “Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon are a great duo, but they could also be suspended at any time. If so, the Patriots may look for a young receiver to join N’Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers.”

Well, it wasn’t quite a suspension, but Brown’s departure happened far sooner than anyone could’ve anticipated.
