  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
The Bengals franchised A.J. Green, but it remains to be seen if he actually plays for them in 2020.

Collin Johnson has great upside and athleticism for someone with his frame (6-6, 212).

A Safety and a Field Goal

  2. Washington Redskins: Reggie Robinson, CB, Tulsa
The Redskins will be keeping the No. 2 pick, which means Jeff Okudah is off the table. Here’s the cornerback Washington desperately needs.

Pick change; previously Essang Bassey, CB

  3. Detroit Lions: Josh Uche, DE/LB, Michigan
The Lions lost Devon Kennard this offseason, so they could select two edge rushers this April.

Josh Uche is an undersized player, but he’s fast and talented.

  4. New York Giants: Curtis Weaver, DE/OLB, Boise State
The Giants must improve their edge rush in order to help their poor secondary. They could double up on edge rushers if they don’t sign Jadeveon Clowney.

Curtis Weaver had a ridiculous 11 sacks as a freshman. He’ll have to be an edge player in a 3-4 defense. He has skill-set limitations that will keep him limited to Day 2 or early Day 3.

  5. Houston Texans: Jordan Elliott, DE/DT, Missouri
The Cardinals haven’t really replaced Calais Campbell, so perhaps they’ll do that at some point in the 2020 NFL Draft.

  6. Los Angeles Chargers: Kendrick Rogers, WR, Texas A&M
The Chargers gave far too many snaps to someone named Andre Patton last year. Patton may have been the least efficient NFL receiver I’ve ever seen in my life.

Kendrick Rogers has flashed some major upside, but he’ll need to show improved durability to be chosen in the first round.

  7. Carolina Panthers: Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC
The Panthers could stand to add another receiver to their corps, which has just two viable players at the position.

  8. Arizona Cardinals: David Woodward, LB, Utah State
The Cardinals need to continue to add to their linebacking corps and secondary so that they’re not so atrocious against the pass next year. Two new linebackers make sense.

  9. Cleveland Browns: Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota
The Browns could use a third receiver, especially in the wake of Jarvis Landry’s injury.

    Tyler Johnson is a sound receiver; he’s a good route-runner and is a sure-handed pass-catcher.

  10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Saahdiq Charles, OT, LSU
The Jaguars must address their horrific offensive line so that Trevor Lawrence gets good blocking when he takes over in 2021.

Pick change; previously Marcus Norman, OT

  11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: James Morgan, QB, Florida International
The Buccaneers obviously need to find a quarterback who can take over for Tom Brady in a couple of years.

James Morgan has made a name for himself by being the best quarterback at the East-West Shrine, by far.

  12. Denver Broncos: Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
I could see the Broncos doubling up on receivers to really strengthen the position.

  13. Atlanta Falcons: A.J. Dillon, RB, Boston College
Todd Gurley obviously can’t handle a full workload because of his knees, so the Falcons may use a mid-round pick on a running back.

  14. New York Jets: Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State
The Jets will keep Le’Veon Bell for one more year, but he didn’t mesh well with Adam Gase.

Eno Benjamin has shown better receiving ability, so he could be chosen in the third round.

  15. Las Vegas Raiders: J.R. Reed, S, Georgia
The Raiders could use some depth at safety, given that they lost Karl Joseph this offseason.

  16. Indianapolis Colts: Casey Toohill, LB, Stanford
The Colts could use some linebacker help next to Darius Leonard.

Casey Toohill is a one-year wonder, but he played extremely well in 2019.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Van Jefferson, WR, Florida
The Cowboys lost Randall Cobb, so they’ll need a new third receiver.

Van Jefferson was one of the winners at the Senior Bowl. He has added value as a great special-teamer.

  18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Darrynton Evans, RB, Appalachian State
The Steelers have hinted that they’re open to finding some help at running back in the wake of James Conner’s disappointing 2019 season.

  19. New England Patriots: Jared Pinkney, TE, Vanderbilt
Here’s another weapon for Tom Brady’s successor. Tight end was a huge hole last year.

Pick change; previously Adam Trautman, TE

  20. Los Angeles Rams: Ke’Shawn Vaughn, RB, Vanderbilt
The Rams might be interested in drafting two running backs, given the huge hole at the position.

Ke’Shawn Vaughn has great strength to run through defenders.

  21. Philadelphia Eagles: Essang Bassey, CB, Wake Forest
The Eagles traded for Darius Slay, but they’re still expected to select a cornerback in the first half of the draft.

Pick change; previously Lavert Hill, CB

  22. Buffalo Bills: Chauncey Rivers, DE, Mississippi State
Lorenzo Alexander retired and Shaq Lawson is gone, so the Bills should add another player who can generate pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

  23. Baltimore Ravens: Joe Gaziano, DE/DT, Northwestern
The Ravens could want a young defensive lineman to take over for Calais Campbell in a couple of seasons.

  24. New Orleans Saints: Krys Barnes, LB, UCLA
The Saints are looking to get help in their linebacking corps, so they may spend one of their early selections on the position.

  25. Arizona Cardinals: Jordan Fuller, S, Ohio State
Here’s yet another prospect who can help strengthen the middle of Arizona’s defense.

  26. Minnesota Vikings: Netane Muti, G, Fresno State
Yet another offensive lineman for the Vikings is hardly a surprise, as they really need to protect Kirk Cousins.

Pick change; previously Jonah Jackson, G

  27. Seattle Seahawks: Jason Strowbridge, DE/DT, North Carolina
The Seahawks could use another presence in the interior of their defensive line.

Jason Strowbridge (and Clothier) needs to add some pass-rushing skills.

  28. Baltimore Ravens: Larrell Murchison, DT, N.C. State
The Ravens tried to sign Michael Brockers, but that attempt failed because Brockers couldn’t pass their physical. Here’s another defensive lineman to compensate.

  29. Pittsburgh Steelers: Matt Hennessy, C, Temple
Maurkice Pouncey has declined in recent years, so the Steelers could think about finding a successor for him.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Quartney Davis, WR, Texas A&M
The Packers need multiple new receivers, given how bad the group was last year.

  31. Jacksonville Jaguars: Hunter Bryant, TE, Washington
The Jaguars should make sure that Trevor Lawrence has a solid tight end at his disposal come 2021.

  32. Kansas City Chiefs: Khalid Kareem, DE, Notre Dame
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Andy Reid adds multiple edge rushers this offseason, given how much he loves to bolster the trenches.

Khaleed Kareem generated lots of pressure for the Irish in their strong start last season. He has a nice frame (6-4, 265) with great upside.

  33. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn
I could see the Buccaneers drafting multiple offensive tackles, as they need depth to make sure Tom Brady is protected.

Jack Driscoll needs to get stronger for the NFL.

  34. Jacksonville Jaguars: John Simpson, G, Clemson
The Jaguars have severe offensive line issues they must address with multiple picks.

  35. Miami Dolphins: D.J. Wonnum, DE/OLB, South Carolina
The Dolphins have a very weak pass rush, so multiple players are needed on the edge.

D.J. Wonnum has impressive speed and athleticism on the edge.

  36. Washington Redskins: Michael Divinity, LB, LSU
I’d like to predict that the Redskins will spend at least one selection to help their poor linebacking corps.

  37. Atlanta Falcons: Jabari Zuniga, DE, Florida
Here’s another edge rusher for the Falcons, who need to place as much pressure as possible on Tom Brady and Drew Brees.

Jabari Zuniga isn’t strong enough for the NFL quite yet, but he has some potential.

  38. Seattle Seahawks: Steven Montez, QB, Colorado
The Seahawks don’t have a quarterback to groom behind Russell Wilson as a long-term backup.

Steven Montez’s accuracy isn’t great, but he has great upside as a quarterback prospect.

  39. Philadelphia Eagles: Josh Metellus, S, Michigan
The Eagles continue to add to their secondary, as they lost Malcolm Jenkins this offseason.

  40. Philadelphia Eagles: Joe Bachie, LB, Michigan State
The Eagles needed linebacking help even before they cut Nigel Bradham, so they could add multiple players at the position.
