  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Solomon Kindley, G, Georgia
The Bengals saw Clint Boling retire unexpectedly, so they’ll need to find someone to replace him. They may also need to replace Cordy Glenn if he leaves.

Solomon Kindley has some impressive movement skills for a large interior lineman.

  2. Indianapolis Colts: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State
Jacoby Brissett played well to begin this past year, but we saw his limitations during the team’s collapsing playoff run. If so, the Colts could opt to find a true successor for Andrew Luck.

Jordan Love has a great physical skill set, but he has poor pocket awareness and field vision.

  3. Detroit Lions: Ross Blacklock, NT, TCU
I discussed Derrick Brown being a possibility for the Lions, depending on what happens in free agency. If they don’t take Brown, perhaps Raekwon Davis or Ross Blacklock will be an option atop Round 2.

Ross Blacklock has underrated athleticism at his massive size (6-3, 329).

  4. New York Giants: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson
The Giants’ secondary was atrocious in 2019, and that was before the Janoris Jenkins release. Two new cornerbacks are needed this offseason.

A.J. Terrell has good size (6-2, 190) and nice skill set. He did very well at the combine.

Pick change; previously Noah Igbinoghene, CB

  5. Los Angeles Chargers: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
Melvin Gordon is unlikely to return next year, so the Chargers will be searching for a new running back to pair with Austin Ekeler.

J.K. Dobbins entered 2017 as a backup, but overtook Mike Weber and had a terrific freshman campaign, showing off his great, explosive running ability.

  6. Carolina Panthers: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
There are reports that new Panthers owner Bobby Axelrod wants to trade Cam Newton. If that happens, he’ll obviously need a new quarterback because Kyle Allen is just a high-end backup. Even if Newton doesn’t go anywhere, Carolina will want a quarterback for the future.

Jacob Eason, a former first-round staple of my mock drafts, is off to a good start at Washington. He was once the projected No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, but dropped off because of his injury and transfer. Now that he’s thriving for Washington, he should be back in first-round consideration.

  7. Washington Redskins: Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame
This is one of the selections the Redskins acquired from the Dolphins in the first-round trade.

The Redskins need a tight end, especially in the wake of Vernon Davis’ retirement. Cole Kmet would be a nice weapon for Dwayne Haskins.

  8. Arizona Cardinals: Raekwon Davis, DE/DT, Alabama
The Cardinals must address the other side of the trenches as well. They’ve needed to replace Calais Campbell for quite some time now.

Raekwon Davis had a dominant performance in the national championship win over Georgia to cap off his excellent 2017 season in which he logged 8.5 sacks.

  9. Cleveland Browns: Ezra Cleveland, OT, Boise State
The Browns could easily double up on offensive tackles, given their dire need at the position.

Pick change; previously Gabriel Davis, WR

  10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia
The Jaguars had one of the worst offensive lines last year, which made their decision to overpay Nick Foles look especially stupid. Neither Foles nor Gardner Minshew stands much of a chance at the moment, given how horrible the blocking unit is.

Isaiah Wilson is a dominant run blocker who has the potential to be an elite pass protector.

  11. Chicago Bears: Jon Greenard, DE/OLB, Florida
The Bears need some edge-rushing depth, especially considering that Leonard Floyd will be entering free agency soon.

Jon Greenard is a quick edge rusher who has a variety of moves.

  12. Indianapolis Colts: Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn
Indianapolis could go after an upgrade in their secondary, as it has surrendered some big gains to receivers.

Noah Igbinoghene is a raw cornerback, as he’s transitioning from receiver. However, team sources told Charlie that Igbinoghene impressed them during the season, so perhaps he can jump into the first

  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cam Akers, RB, Florida State
Unless Ronald Jones stops disappointing, the Buccaneers won’t have any sort of running game in 2019. Jones has played well at times, but it doesn’t seem as though Bruce Arians trusts him.

Pick change; previously Jonathan Taylor, RB

  14. Denver Broncos: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
The Broncos tried to obtain Darius Slay prior to last year’s trade deadline. They could deal for Slay again. If not, they’ll be interested in a cornerback in the early rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Trevon Diggs, younger brother of Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs, began as a receiver at Alabama, but was tremendous last season at cornerback before suffering a foot injury.

  15. Atlanta Falcons: Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin
The Falcons should be looking for linebacker help in Rounds 2-4 of the 2020 NFL Draft, as they need help at the position next to Deion Jones. Zack Baun has size limitations (6-3, 225), but he was very productive at Wisconsin.

Pick change; previously Patrick Queen, LB

  16. New York Jets: Lloyd Cushenberry, C, LSU
The Jets were so desperate at center that they brought in Ryan Kalil prior to the season. Kalil ended up being terrible, so the Jets will need to find a new center.

Pick change; previously Zack Moss, RB

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Bradley Anae, DE/OLB, Utah
The Steelers could lose Bud Dupree to free agency soon. If so, they’ll be looking for another edge rusher. Bradley Anae dominated the Senior Bowl.

  18. Chicago Bears: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
The Bears could dump Trey Burton after two disappointing years. They could target a tight end on Day 2.

The athletic Albert Okwuegbunan had a coming-out party against Georgia and could be the first tight end off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft.

  19. Dallas Cowboys: Cameron Dantzler, CB, Mississippi State
Here’s more help for the Dallas secondary, as the team will have a huge need for a cornerback if Byron Jones departs.

Cameron Dantzler has great size (6-2, 195) and will be a first-round pick if he runs well in pre-draft workouts.

Pick change; previously Jeff Gladney, CB

  20. Los Angeles Rams: Jake Hanson, C, Oregon
The Rams traded for Jalen Ramsey, but he won’t fix their main problem, which is their poor offensive line. The blcking desperately needs to be upgraded.

  21. Philadelphia Eagles: Darnay Holmes, CB, UCLA
Philadelphia’s secondary struggled mightily to even defend mediocre passing attacks last year, so the team must address the secondary this offseason. Darnay Holmes was a late addition to the Senior Bowl, and he made it count by performing very well in Mobile.

Pick change; previously Zack Baun, LB

  22. Buffalo Bills: Josh Jones, OT, Houston
The Bills signed some offensive linemen last offseason, but some of them are just short-term solutions. Here’s a right tackle for the long haul.

Josh Jones needs to get stronger for the NFL, but his length and athleticism will interest some teams.

Pick change; previously Ezra Cleveland, OT

  23. Atlanta Falcons: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
The Falcons have had major issues covering receivers this year, so they’ll need a major upgrade at cornerback.

Damon Arnette is a talented cornerback who would be a first-round prospect if it weren’t for character concerns.

  24. Detroit Lions: Antoine Winfield Jr., S, Minnesota
This could be one of the picks the Lions obtain from moving from No. 3 to 5. They’ll need to find a safety to replace Quandree Diggs.

Antoine Winfield is a ball-hawking play-maker. This Web site is so old that we used to write about his dad!

Pick change; previously Kyle Dugger, S

  25. Houston Texans: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
The Texans obviously have to target an offensive lineman early in the 2020 NFL Draft, given how teams with strong pass rushes dominated them in 2019.

Prince Tega Wanogho is an athletic tackle who could play on the blind side in the pros. He’s raw, so he’ll need to be coached up.

  26. Minnesota Vikings: Kenny Willekes, DE, Michigan State
The Vikings could stand to add another edge rusher behind their two talented starters (assuming Minnesota even re-signs Everson Griffen.)

  27. Seattle Seahawks: Terrance Steele, OT, Texas Tech
Will the Seahawks finally strengthen their offensive line and give Russell Wilson the protection he deserves? It could happen here, as the 2020 NFL Draft class seems packed with talented blockers.

Terrance Steele is a lengthy tackle who had a nice 2019 campaign.

  28. Baltimore Ravens: Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State
The Ravens hit a home run with Marquise Brown, but they need to add a second receiver to play across from the former Sooner.

Brandon Aiyuk had a monster 2019 campaign and seems to have moved himself into second-day consideration.

Pick change; previously K.J. Hamler, WR

  29. Tennessee Titans: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame
A.J. Brown is a stud, but Corey Davis hasn’t lived up to his first-round billing yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Titans used a second-day selection on a receiver.

Chase Claypool had speed concerns entering the combine, but he was able to dispel those with an amazing performance in Indianapolis.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech
The Packers need some help at linebacker, which was made apparent in their NFC Championship blowout loss to the 49ers.

Jordyn Brooks is a fast and athletic linebacker, but his instincts are lacking.

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU
Damien Williams thrived in the playoffs once again, but the Chiefs may want to find another running back after both LeSean McCoy and Darwin Thompson disappointed last year.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a tough runner who was also a receptions monster.

Pick change; previously Isaiah Wilson, OT

  32. Seattle Seahawks: Julian Okwara, DE/OLB, Notre Dame
The Seahawks needed edge-rushing help even before they traded away Frank Clark, so here’s someone else to help them get to the quarterback besides Jadeveon Clowney and L.J. Collier.
