New York Giants: Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Jarrad Davis, LB
The Giants have a couple of offensive linemen - Justin Pugh, Weston Richburg - set to hit free agency just prior to the 2018 NFL Draft. Retaining both could be difficult, and New York is apparently aware of this because the front office has tried to court some guards in free agency - even after signing D.J. Fluker.
New Orleans Saints: Tyquan Lewis, DE, Ohio State 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Marlon Humphrey, CB and Obi Melifonwu, S
The Saints have numerous issues on defense at every level. This includes their pass rush, which they could easily address in the opening round of the 2017 NFL Draft. They did not in my 2017 NFL Mock Draft, so here we are.
Dallas Cowboys: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Taco Charlton, DE
The Cowboys have a great offense because of their offensive line and young backfield. Dez Bryant is also great when healthy. What's missing is a second receiver (or a first when Bryant is injured).
Courtland Sutton shocked many by going back to school because had a chance to be a first-round this April.
Los Angeles Chargers: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Malik Hooker, S
The Chargers signed Russell Okung this offseason, but he obviously can't be counted on to stay healthy. I'm sure the front office will realize this quickly, prompting them to select a left tackle who can shield Philip Rivers as he enters the twilight of his career.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, DE, N.C.State 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Dalvin Cook, RB
Robert Ayers is just a temporary solution for the Buccaneers at defensive end. They'll need a long-term starter across from Noah Spence to help put pressure on Cam Newton, Matt Ryan and Drew Brees.
Kansas City Chiefs: Byron Cowart, DE, Auburn 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Forrest Lamp, G
The Chiefs currently have three talented edge rushers, but Tamba Hali won't be in the league much longer, while Dee Ford will see his contract expire one month prior to the 2018 NFL Draft. Thus, Kansas City could be in the market for a new outside linebacker.
Detroit Lions: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): T.J. Watt, DE/OLB
Ameer Abdullah hasn't proven that he can stay healthy yet. If he endures another injury-prone campaign, the Lions will have no choice but to move on. They could even spend their 2018 first-round pick on a running back.
Derrius Guice would be a great replacement. Guice hasn't seen as much action as he deserves because he played behind Leonard Fournette. However, he's very talented and would've started for almost every other team in the country.
Seattle Seahawks: Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Garett Bolles, OT
The Seahawks will need a new edge rusher soon, as Cliff Avril doesn't have many more years of high-level play. It's not out of the question that Seattle will pick a pass-rusher early in the 2017 NFL Draft. Here's the other option.
Tennessee Titans: Marcell Frazier, DE/OLB, Missouri 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Mike Williams, WR and Adoree Jackson, CB
The Titans could be looking for a young edge rusher here, as Brian Orakpo will be 32 right after the 2018 NFL Draft.
Atlanta Falcons: Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Jordan Willis, DE/OLB
The Falcons signed Dontari Poe this offseason, but that was just to a 1-year "prove it" deal. Poe, like Ra'Shede Hageman, will be a free agent next spring, so Atlanta could be in the market for a big-time interior defensive lineman.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Adonis Alexander, CB, Virginia Tech 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): DeShone Kizer, QB
The Steelers are looking to obtain a cornerback early in the 2017 NFL Draft. If they fail to do so - I have them missing out in my 2017 NFL Mock Draft - so this becomes an option in 2018.
Philadelphia Eagles: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): O.J. Howard, TE
Both Alshon Jeffery and Jordan Matthews will be free agents after this season, so the Eagles will need another receiver.
Parris Campbell has yet to do much at Ohio State, but league contacts have told Charlie Campbell that they expect the Ohio State wideout to have a breakout 2017 campaign.
Oakland Raiders: Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Kevin King, CB
Latavius Murray defected for Minnesota, but the coaching staff didn't want to give him the full workload anyway. As a result, I could see the Raiders spending an early-round selection on a running back, given that Marshawn Lynch won't be on the roster for very long.
Green Bay Packers: Martez Ivey, G/OT, Florida 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): Joe Mixon, RB
The Packers have lost a couple of very talented guards recently in Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang. Following this offseason, Lane Taylor and Don Barclay are set to hit free agency. It could be time for Green Bay to address the guard position.
New England Patriots: Jordan Whitehead, S, Pittsburgh 2017 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/27): None
The Patriots may want to address the safety position early in the 2018 or 2019 NFL Drafts. Patrick Chung will be an impending free agent in the 2018 offseason, while Devin McCourty will be a few months away from 31 at this juncture.
