  1. Cleveland Browns: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
    The Browns never replaced Mitchell Schwartz, and so they have a liability at right tackle as a result. Roderick Johnson can start there right away and eventually move to the blind side once Joe Thomas retires.

  2. Detroit Lions: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
    Detroit’s defensive line is very strong on the edge, but the team has yet to find a worthy replacement for Ndamukong Suh. The Lions’ inability to get to opposing quarterbacks needs to be fixed.

  3. Indianapolis Colts: Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
    It goes without saying that Andrew Luck’s poor protection needs to be bolstered, even if it means spending multiple early picks on the offensive line. Dan Feeney won’t be able to teach his teammates much until he’s a veteran, but he could provide an upgrade on the interior of the front.

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU
    The Jaguars are trying Luke Joeckel at guard, but it doesn’t appear as though he’s cutting it there either. They’ll have to spend an early selection on an upgrade.



  5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Marcus Maye, S, Florida
    Tampa’s safeties were utterly embarrassed in the blowout loss at Arizona. The Buccaneers desperately need to upgrade that position.

  6. Miami Dolphins: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
    The Dolphins are getting great value here with Nick Chubb. The Georgia back could easily be chosen in the first round. He’d replace the injury-prone Arian Foster and underwhelming Jay Ajayi.

  7. New York Jets: Julie’n Davenport, OT, Bucknell
    The Jets will need to pair their new quarterback with an offensive weapon or blocker, and a tackle makes the most sense in this scenario. Both Ryan Clady and Brent Qvale have both been very underwhelming this year.

  8. Arizona Cardinals: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC
    This is a situation where one of the top players on the board happens to fill a need. Wide receiver will have to be addressed next offseason. Larry Fitzgerald has mulled retirement; Michael Floyd will hit free agency in March; and John Brown will be entering his contract year.

  9. New Orleans Saints: Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
    I still can’t believe the Saints signed James Laurinaitis. Did they not watch how horrible he was for the Rams? Seriously, what were they thinking?

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
    I don’t understand why the 49ers avoided addressing the receiver position until late in the 2016 NFL Draft. How did they not realize that they have such a huge need in that area?

  11. Cleveland Browns: Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
    The Browns have some horrific play at safety, so here’s another upgrade for their beleaguered defensive backfield.

  12. Chicago Bears: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
    The Bears have issues all over their defense. Their front seven is struggling because of injuries. Their secondary, on the other hand, wasn’t good to begin with. Bryce Callahan has played well in the slot, but upgrades need to be made on the outside.

  13. Carolina Panthers: Eddie Jackson, S, Alabama
    The Panthers spent most of the 2016 NFL Draft bolstering their cornerback position. The safety group also needs to be upgraded.

  14. Buffalo Bills: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
    It’s unclear why the Bills didn’t find an upgrade over Robert Woods this offseason, but they need to obtain another receiver to take the pressure off Sammy Watkins.

  15. San Diego Chargers: Davis Webb, QB, California
    Philip Rivers turns 35 in December, so it might be time for the Chargers to find a successor for him.

  16. Washington Redskins: Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
    If Kirk Cousins continues to disappoint, it’s hard to imagine him returning to Washington next year. If he leaves, the Redskins will obviously have to find a new quarterback.

  17. Cincinnati Bengals: Carl Lawson, DE/OLB, Auburn
    Michael Johnson has not been getting the job done as an edge rusher across from Carlos Dunlap. The Bengals will have to find an upgrade at defensive end.

  18. New York Giants: Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson
    The Giants are pretty weak at running back, as the injury-prone Rashad Jennings is the favorite to lead the team in carries this year. That’s obviously not great news, so New York could opt to select a solid prospect at the position.

  19. Kansas City Chiefs: Anthony Walker, ILB, Northwestern
    The Chiefs could spend a second-day selection on an inside linebacker, given that Derrick Johnson is nearing retirement.

  20. Green Bay Packers: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
    It’s hard to get behind Jared Cook, who has been a disappointment throughout his career. If he doesn’t step up this season, the Packers could opt to use an early pick on a tight end like Jake Butt.



  21. Los Angeles Rams: Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State
    The Rams have been weak at center for what seems like decades. OK, it hasn’t been that long, but the position has been a problem for them for a very long time. It’s time to finally end that.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
    It was surprising to see the Ravens ignore their need for a cornerback until the fourth round of this past draft. I don’t expect that to happen again.

  23. New England Patriots: Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
    The Patriots never really found a replacement for Dominique Easley, so they could stand to add a pass-rushing presence in the interior.

  24. Seattle Seahawks: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
    I thought there was a good chance that the Seahawks would upgrade their edge rush this offseason, but they didn’t pull the trigger. They can make amends for that at this juncture.

  25. Houston Texans: Jarron Jones, DE/DT, Notre Dame
    The Texans were expected to target a replacement for Jared Crick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but never got a chance to. Now, they need a defensive end even more in the wake of the J.J. Watt situation.

  26. Dallas Cowboys: Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
    Jason Witten doesn’t have much time remaining in the NFL, so the Cowboys could stand to use an early selection on a tight end. Evan Engram has drawn comparisons to Jordan Reed.

  27. Oakland Raiders: Devonte Fields, DE/OLB, Louisville
    It’s amazing how ineffective Oakland’s pass rush has been thus far. Khalil Mack has been a ghost, and no one else is stepping up to keep double teams off of him. The Raiders desperately need to bring in someone new to get to the quarterback.

  28. Atlanta Falcons: Dorian Johnson, G, Pittsburgh
    The Falcons could stand to upgrade Chris Chester, the one liability that they currently possess on their offensive line.

  29. Pittsburgh Steelers: Deatrich Wise Jr., DE/DT, Arkansas
    The Steelers have some depth issues up front, and I expect them to address that at some point next offseason, especially with Stephon Tuitt struggling.



  30. Philadelphia Eagles: Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
    The Eagles have nothing across from Jordan Matthews, aside from some projects like Dorial Green-Beckham and Paul Turner. If neither steps up this year, Philadelphia will be in the market for a new No. 2 receiver.

  31. Denver Broncos: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
    Charles Walker would be a nice fit in Denver’s defense, as the Broncos have to bolster the interior of their front to improve against the rush.

  32. Minnesota Vikings: Budda Baker, S, Washington
    The Vikings have needed help next to Harrison Smith for quite some time now, so perhaps this is when they’ll finally find a solution.
