  1. Cleveland Browns: Rasul Douglas, CB, West Virginia
The Browns need to do even more to upgrade their horrific secondary. Multiple upgrades at both positions will be quite welcome.

Pick change; previously Kevin King, CB

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Duke Riley, LB, LSU
The 49ers are a mess at inside linebacker; they had just one healthy player at the position on the field versus the Falcons. With NaVorro Bowman’s future uncertain, the 49ers need to find help at the position.

Pick change; previously Steven Taylor, LB

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami
Brad Kaaya’s stock has slipped, but he’s possibly a bargain in the fourth round. The Jaguars could consider taking him, as they can’t really bench Blake Bortles because they don’t have an alternative. Drafting a quarterback who actually cares about football would be nice.

  4. Chicago Bears: Lorenzo Jerome, S, St. Francis
The Bears might want to think about adding some competiton at safety for Harold Jones-Quartey to play next to Adrian Amos.

  5. Los Angeles Rams: Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh
The Rams almost have to draft a quarterback at some point because Jared Goof has been that bad. I’ve been covering the NFL for almost 20 years, and the Rams, with Goof, are the worst team I’ve ever seen.

Pick change; previously Jerod Evans, QB

  6. San Diego Chargers: Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State
Here’s San Diego’s, I mean, Los Angeles’ chance to help Philip Rivers even more with offensive line help. This is a versatile lineman who can either start at guard or provide depth at all three interior spots.

  7. Washington Redskins: Nico Siragusa, G, San Diego State
Washington’s offensive line has played well this year, but the team has to find an upgrade over guard Shawn Lauvao. A mid-round selection can be used on one.

  8. Carolina Panthers: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
It’s very possible that the Panthers will spend multiple picks on offensive tackles in the first three or four rounds, given how dire the situation is for them at the position.

Pick change; previously Avery Gennesy, OT

  9. Cincinnati Bengals: Conor McDermott, OT, UCLA
Cincinnati’s offense sputtered in 2016 for a variety of reasons. An early injury to Tyler Eifert hurt, and then A.J. Green was knocked out of several games before ownership decided that he wouldn’t see the field at all. An issue that was prevalent throughout all of this past year was the massive hole the Bengals had at right tackle. Cedric Ogbuehi struggled terribly, which doesn’t bode well for the future at all because Andrew Whitworth won’t be around much longer.

  10. Chicago Bears: Jerod Evans, QB, Virginia Tech
I think the Bears will go the veteran route at quarterback, but I don’t think this means they won’t select a quarterback entirely. I could see them pulling the trigger on one in the middle rounds.

Pick change; previously Davis Webb, QB

  11. New Orleans Saints: David Sharpe, G, Florida
I’ve had the Saints pick three defensive players thus far. It’s time to focus on the offense, and the primary need here is at guard. Jahri Evans regressed this past season, yet he was still the top player at the position on the team.

Pick change; previously Jordan Leggett, TE

  12. Philadelphia Eagles: Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Eagles doubled up at receiver, given how devoid of talent they are at the position.

  13. Arizona Cardinals: Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida
Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington are entering free agency, so the Cardinals will need some depth behind David Johnson.

  14. Indianapolis Colts: Deatrich Wise Jr., DE/DT Arkansas
The Colts are very weak on the defensive line, as Kendall Langford is done, while Arthur Jones was one of many Ryan Grigson free-agent gems, doing nothing despite signing a $33 million contract. Jones is as good as gone, so Indianapolis needs a new five-technique.

  15. Minnesota Vikings: Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
The Vikings obviously can’t give up on Laquon Treadwell yet, but they have to be worried that he’ll be another Cordarrelle Patterson. Here’s some insurance.

  16. Baltimore Ravens: Montravius Adams, DE/DT, Auburn
Whether it’s at outside linebacker or at defensive end, the Ravens absolutely have to upgrade their anemic pass rush. Baltimore doesn’t really have much at defensive end outside of Timmy Jernigan.

Pick change; previously Jordan Leggett, TE

  17. Washington Redskins: Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU
With DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon entering free agency, the Redskins will have to find another receiver at some point. Josh Doctson will step in as a starter, but another wideout is needed.

Pick change; previously Artavis Scott, WR

  18. Tennessee Titans: Kevin King, CB, Washington
Given their major problems at cornerback, the Titans could choose to double up on the position in the first four rounds.

Pick change; previously Cameron Sutton, CB

  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Fish Smithson, S, Kansas
The Buccaneers had major problems at safety throughout the year, so they could obviously take a player at that position much earlier than this.

  20. Denver Broncos: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
The Broncos don’t have much at receiver outside of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, so they need a viable option in case one goes down with an injury.

  21. Detroit Lions: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
Ameer Abdullah hasn’t been able to stay healthy through two seasons, so the Lions should invest in a running back at some point.

  22. Minnesota Vikings: Howard Wilson, CB, Houston
Terence Newman is as good as gone after staging a mutiny against Mike Zimmer, while Captain Munnerlyn is an impending free agent, so the Vikings will be looking for a cornerback at some point.

  23. Oakland Raiders: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU
As mentioned earlier, the Raiders happen to be very weak in the defensive interior, so they could stand to double up on defensive tackles.

  24. Houston Texans: Jarron Jones, DE/DT, Notre Dame
The Texans have problems on their defensive line, even when J.J. Watt is healthy, which hasn’t often been the case lately. Here’s some help.

  25. New England Patriots: Vincent Taylor, DT, Oklahoma State
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Patriots doubled up on defensive tackles, given that it’s the weakest position on their roster.

  26. Kansas City Chiefs: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
Andy Reid loves to utilize two-tight offenses, but he doesn’t have much at the position outside of Travis Kelce.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
The Cowboys could stand to bolster their pass rush, which tends to be pretty inconsistent. It would help if Randy Gregory could play, but Dallas has to move on, given that he can’t stay out of trouble.

Pick change; previously Travis Rudolph, WR

  28. Green Bay Packers: Isaac Asiata, G, Utah
If the Packers have a weakness on the offensive line, it’s at left guard with Lane Taylor. Josh Sitton has been missed, so here’s some help.

  29. Pittsburgh Steelers: Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
Martavis Bryant has an expiring contract after 2017, and Pittsburgh may decide that it can’t rely on him.

  30. Atlanta Falcons: Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida
Philip Wheeler has played far too many snaps for the Falcons this year, so they should make sure that doesn’t happen again.

  31. New England Patriots: Dorian Johnson, G, Pittsburgh
The Patriots could stand to upgrade one of their guard spots, as Joe Thuney has been the weakest link up front for New England.

  32. New York Giants: Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama
The Giants spent tons of money on their defensive line, but it hasn’t produced as expected. Adding a player who can generate interior pressure will be important.
