*** This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). Check out old versions of this 2015 NFL Mock Draft in the archived mock draft section. Follow @walterfootball for updates. ***

  1. Oakland Raiders: Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina
Darren McFadden won’t be around much longer, while Maurice Jones-Drew hasn’t shown that he can stay healthy. Mike Davis figures to be a big upgrade in the backfield.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Jacksonville Jaguars: Nick O’Leary, TE, Florida State
Marcedes Lewis has been a huge disappointment since signing his contract, so the Jaguars need an upgrade. Lewis, 31 right after the 2015 NFL Draft, will be due nearly $7 million in the final season of his contract, so Jacksonville may cut him next offseason.

  3. Oakland Raiders: Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State
The Raiders acquired this pick from the Buccaneers in the first round for Marcus Mariota. They can spend it on defense; Oakland signed a bunch of short-term solutions for the defensive tackle position this past offseason, but it’ll have to find players to fill the void in the future.

  4. Tennessee Titans: Cody Prewitt, S, Ole Miss
The Titans need help all over their defense after their disgraceful showings against the Cowboys and Bengals. One area that may need to be addressed next offseason is the safety position. Michael Griffin will be due more than $6 million, so he could be released because of financial (and performance) purposes. Bernard Pollard, meanwhile, just tore his Achilles.

  5. Washington Redskins: Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
DeAngelo Hall, 31 in November, will be coming off a torn Achilles, and he has virtually no guaranteed money beyond 2014. David Amerson has been better this year, but he’s not a No. 1 corner.

  6. New York Jets: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Geno Smith has been incredibly inconsistent. If he doesn’t improve this area with Percy Harvin at his disposal, the Jets may decide that they’ll just want to start over.

  7. Minnesota Vikings: Cameron Erving, OT/G, Florida State
The Vikings seriously need to think about replacing Matt Kalil. He and Charlie Johnson both got Teddy Bridgewater killed against the Lions and Bills. It would be in Minnesota’s best interest to use an early pick on a lineman who can play both tackle and guard.

  8. St. Louis Rams: Tre Jackson, G, Florida State
The Rams’ offensive line has played better since Greg Robinson moved into the starting lineup, but Robinson is not going to stay at guard for the long term.

  9. Atlanta Falcons: Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina
The Jake Matthews pick looked like it was working out early before the A&M product put together three dreadful performances. Regardless, the Falcons could stand to add another offensive tackle because Sam Baker (and everyone else) is always hurt.

  10. Houston Texans: Danny Shelton, NT, Washington
One of the reasons the Texans have struggled against the run is because they don’t have a true nose tackle. They can fix that problem here.

Pick change; previously Arik Armstead, DE/DT

  11. Buffalo Bills: Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
The Bills can’t get a franchise quarterback in the first round, so perhaps they’ll obtain one here. They don’t really have any other choice. E.J. Manuel stinks, while Kyle Orton is obviously not the long-term answer.

  12. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
Ike Taylor suffered a terrible injury several Sunday nights ago. He’ll be back later in the year, but the Steelers need to get younger and better at cornerback regardless.

Pick change; previously Rashad Greene, WR

  13. Cleveland Browns: Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State
Cleveland’s issues at the receiver position have been well-publicized. Josh Gordon will be back soon, but the Browns can’t count on him staying out of legal trouble.

Pick change; previously Ty Montgomery, WR

  14. Chicago Bears: Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA
The Bears signed a bunch of defensive ends last offseason, but some of them – mainly Jared Allen – are short-term rentals. Here’s a potential starter for the future.

  15. Carolina Panthers: Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland
It’s possible that the Panthers could double up on receivers in the 2015 NFL Draft. They really have nothing beyond Kelvin Benjamin.

Pick change; previously Sean Hickey, OT

  16. New York Giants: Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
Rashad Jennings is not the long-term answer for the Giants at running back. The front office may want to find someone who can complement the plodding Andre Williams.

  17. Miami Dolphins: Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford
Both Louis Delmas and Jimmy Wilson will be impending free agents this upcoming offseason, and all the Dolphins have waiting in the wings is 2014 fourth-rounder Walt Aikens. Miami will have to get younger and better at the safety position.

  18. Cincinnati Bengals: Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon
The Bengals don’t have very many needs, but they are especially weak at center, where rookie Russell Bodine has struggled for the most part thus far.

  19. Kansas City Chiefs: Arik Armstead, DE/DT, Oregon
The Chiefs aren’t particularly strong up front, outside of Dontari Poe. They never properly replaced Tyson Jackson.

Pick change; previously A.J. Cann, G

  20. Arizona Cardinals: Carl Davis, DT, Iowa
The Cardinals will consider an upgrade to the defensive line, as Darnell Dockett won’t be around much longer.

Pick change; previously Shaq Thompson, LB

  21. New Orleans Saints: Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State
The Saints have to make multiple upgrades to their linebacking corps. Finding someone who can actually tackle would be great.

  22. Detroit Lions: A.J. Cann, G, South Carolina
The Lions have struggled to protect Matthew Stafford this season. Guard Rob Sims has become a liability, so the front office may attempt to replace him. He’ll be a free agent come March anyway.

Pick change; previously Jalen Collins, CB

  23. Philadelphia Eagles: Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
Both Philadelphia cornerbacks have been liabilities this season, so this is a position the front office needs to focus on this upcoming offseason.

Pick change; previously Stefon Diggs, WR

  24. New England Patriots: D.J. Humphries, OT/G, Florida
The Patriots’ biggest weakness is the offensive line. The interior can’t block at all, so Bill Belichick may trade away his next-best blocker for another tight end he won’t use. If not, I’m sure he’ll look at another Florida prospect.

  25. Seattle Seahawks: Christian Covington, DT, Rice
Jordan Hill has not panned out thus far, so the Seahawks will need long-term help at defensive tackle once Kevin Williams retires.

  26. San Francisco 49ers: Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford
If the struggling Michael Crabtree leaves via free agency, the 49ers will definitely have to do something about the receiver position.

Pick change; previously DeVante Parker, WR

  27. Baltimore Ravens: Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
Steve Smith looked done last year, but he’s actually trying now, and it’s paying off for Baltimore. However, Steve Smith won’t last much longer, while Torrey Smith is an impending free agent, so the Ravens will have to find a new receiver.

  28. San Diego Chargers: Josue Matias, G, Florida State
San Diego’s offensive line played well last year, but it has been a disappointment thus far in 2014. The interior needs to get better.

Pick change; previously Kevin Johnson, CB

  29. Dallas Cowboys: Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia
The secondary is still a weak area for the Cowboys. They need to find upgrades at both cornerback and safety.

  30. Indianapolis Colts: Jordan Jenkins, DE/OLB, Georgia
The Colts are finally starting to put some pressure on the quarterback, thanks to Bjoern Werner emerging, but they could still use another top-notch pass-rusher, as Robert Mathis won’t be around much longer.

Pick change; previously Carl Davis, DE/DT

  31. Green Bay Packers: Sean Hickey, OT, Syracuse
Bryan Bulaga, who suffered yet another injury, will be hitting free agency next spring, so the Packers may look into taking a tackle if Derek Sherrod doesn’t show signs of improvement.

Pick change; previously Jordan Jenkins, DE/OLB

  32. Denver Broncos: Derron Smith, S, Fresno State
Rahim Moore is an impending free agent in March, so here’s a potential replacement for him.
