*** This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). Check out old versions of this 2015 NFL Mock Draft in the archived mock draft section. Follow @walterfootball for updates. ***

  1. Tennessee Titans: Josue Matias, G, Florida State
The Titans need to protect their new quarterback. There’s been speculation that the disappointing Andy Levitre will be cut this offseason.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Arie Kouandjio, G, Alabama
The Buccaneers may also upgrade the interior of their offensive line. They had major problems blocking last year, so they can’t have that happen again with a rookie quarterback under center.

  3. Oakland Raiders: Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
It might be impossible for Derek Carr to avoid a sophomore slump with Greg Olson gone (nice one, Mark Davis), so the Raiders will need to give their young quarterback a No. 1 weapon. James Jones was a predictable bust, so Carr will need a better top weapon.

Pick change; previously Paul Dawson, LB

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Cameron Erving, OT/G/C, Florida State
It’s no secret that the Jaguars need help all over their offensive line. Cameron Erving seems like the perfect pick for them because he can play every position up front.

Pick change; previously Maxx Williams, TE

  5. New York Jets: P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State
I’ve had the Jets taking a quarterback here for some time, but I’ll go in a different direction for now. They could look into a cornerback; how pissed will Rex Ryan be if the Jets finally add some talented corners after completely ignoring the position last offseason, and he’s not there anymore? At least he’ll be able to get revenge twice per year. Go here for my grade for the Bills hiring Rex Ryan.

Pick change; previously Brett Hundley, QB

  6. Washington Redskins: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
The Redskins obviously need to make multiple upgrades to their woeful secondary. Help is needed at both corner and safety, so Washington can take the best player available at either position.

Pick change; previously Kevin Johnson, CB

  7. Chicago Bears: Markus Golden, DE/OLB, Missouri
The Bears appeared to be set at defensive end a few months ago, but there are major concerns there now. Willie Young ruptured his Achilles, while LaMarr Houston tore his ACL. Jared Allen is obviously not a long-term solution (or a short-term one), so Chicago was looking to address this position this offseason. Vic Fangio, however, was brought in to coach the defense. The Bears will be moving to a 3-4, so they need some edge rushers who fit that system.

  8. New York Giants: Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State
The Giants have needed help for their linebacking corps for years. Perhaps this will be the year they finally address the position.

Pick change; previously Shaq Thompson, LB

  9. St. Louis Rams: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma
Brian Quick looked good prior to his injury, and both Kenny Britt and Stedman Bailey have had their moments in the second half of the season, but the Rams lack a true No. 1 receiver, which is something they can obtain with this selection.

  10. Atlanta Falcons: Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana
I don’t think the Falcons will go out of their way to draft a running back, but they may have to if someone as talented as Tevin Coleman falls to them. Steven Jackson is as good as gone; both Jacquizz Rodgers and Antone Smith are free agents; and Devonta Freeman wasn’t very impressive as a rookie, so the position will need to be addressed.

  11. Cleveland Browns: Jordan Phillips, NT, Oklahoma
Here’s another upgrade to the defensive line; I expect the Browns to really focus on upgrading this unit during the offseason. Cleveland has to improve its awful run defense, and a nose tackle is needed.

Pick change; previously Garrett Grayson, QB

  12. New Orleans Saints: Paul Dawson, LB, TCU
More upgrades for the Saints’ defense. The team needs a major boost in the middle of its stop unit, as Curtis Lofton has been a major disappointment for them.

Pick change; previously Benardrick McKinney, LB

  13. Minnesota Vikings: Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
The Vikings could use an early selection on a cornerback so that they have a long-term starter across from Xavier Rhodes.

Pick change; previously Jaelen Strong, WR

  14. San Francisco 49ers: Laken Tomlinson, G, Duke
Mike Iupati is an impending free agent, while Alex Boone will be entering his contract year in 2015. The 49ers will be looking for some line help this offseason.

Pick change; previously A.J. Cann, G

  15. Miami Dolphins: Mario Edwards, DE/DT, Florida State
Jared Odrick played so well this year that he’ll command lots of money in free agency this upcoming spring (go here for our NFL Free Agent Rankings.) The Dolphins may have to find a new defensive tackle as a consequence.

  16. San Diego Chargers: Ellis McCarthy, NT, UCLA
San Diego doesn’t have a quality nose tackle, which would explain why the team was just mediocre against the run.

Pick change; previously Jordan Phillips, NT

  17. Kansas City Chiefs: Jeremiah Putasi, OT, Utah
The Chiefs had pass protection issues this past season – only six teams surrendered more sacks – and I doubt Andy Reid will pass on an offensive lineman in the first couple of rounds.

  18. Buffalo Bills: Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State
The Bills need to do something about the quarterback situation. They can’t really go into the 2015 season with E.J. Manuel as their starter, so their only option might be this selection.

Pick change; previously Ameer Abdullah, RB

  19. Houston Texans: Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami
It’s unknown how much longer Andre Johnson will last, but the Texans could look into adding a future No. 2 wideout across from DeAndre Hopkins. Phillip Dorsett has moved up an entire round after a tremendous Senior Bowl.

  20. Philadelphia Eagles: Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
There’s speculation that the Eagles will move up for Marcus Mariota, but we’ve reported that they also have a strong interest in Brett Hundley. There’s no question that Hundley is a far-inferior prospect, but Philadelphia at least won’t have to mortgage its entire future just to land the UCLA product.

Pick change; previously Nate Orchard, DE/OLB

  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Carl Davis, DT, Iowa
Domata Peko has not played well this year, so the Bengals may want to consider finding some help for the interior of their defensive line.

  22. Detroit Lions: Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
Reggie Bush won’t be around much longer, so the Lions will need to find someone to split the load with Joique Bell.

Pick change; previously Tre Jackson, G

  23. Arizona Cardinals: Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Marcus Peters was dismissed from the team this past season. The Cardinals have taken chances on troubled players before, so perhaps they’d give Peters a shot. Peters, who has top-15 talent, could fill in for Antonio Cromartie if the stud corner isn’t re-signed. As you can see in our NFL Free Agent Rumors page, Cromartie has expressed a desire to go back to the Jets.

  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
Cortez Allen was so bad against the Colts that he was actually trending on Twitter. Ike Taylor, meanwhile, was miserable in his return from injury. The Steelers are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position, and they’re getting a prospect who fits their scheme well.

Pick change; previously Jaquiski Tartt, S

  25. Carolina Panthers: Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State
The Panthers likely will select the top available player from the tackle or receiver position in the first few rounds. Those are their two big areas of need. They have to find someone to draw attention away from Kelvin Benjamin.

  26. Baltimore Ravens: Jalen Collins, CB, LSU
It’s amazing that the Ravens have been able to maintain such a strong defense despite losing some future Hall of Famers. Their front seven is great, but their secondary is in shambles right now. They really need help at corner.

Pick change; previously Nelson Agholor, WR

  27. Denver Broncos: A.J. Cann, G, South Carolina
Here’s some offensive line help for the Broncos, who need to upgrade the guard position in addition to the center spot if Orlando Franklin leaves via free agency.

Pick change; previously Devin Funchess, TE

  28. Dallas Cowboys: T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama
DeMarco Murray will probably be too expensive to keep, so the plan was for Joseph Randle to become the new starting running back. The problem is that Randle was recently arrested for drug possession and domestic violence, so he could be suspended. If so, Dallas may spend a second-day selection on a back.

  29. Indianapolis Colts: Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami of Ohio
Greg Toler performed well in the playoffs, but the Colts could use a better No. 2 corner. Quinten Rollins is another player whose stock is rising.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Nate Orchard, DE/OLB, Utah
Julius Peppers has been a natural fit for the Packers, but he’s just a short-term rental. Green Bay may want to add another pass-rusher for the future.

Pick change; previously Ellis McCarthy, NT

  31. Seattle Seahawks: Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
Here’s another weapon for Russell Wilson. The Seahawks tried to acquire Jordan Cameron during the season, so they’re definitely interested in upgrading the tight end position.

  32. New England Patriots: Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State
There currently isn’t a huge need for a defensive tackle, but Vince Wilfork, Chris Jones and Sealver Siliga will all be heading into their contract years by the 2016 season, so this is a selection for the future.
