  1. New York Giants: Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
Shane Vereen is an impending free agent, so the Giants will need a new running back to perhaps complement Wayne Gallman. It’s unclear if Gallman is even good enough to be the starter, but he’s the best the Giants have. That would change with Bryce Love, who has shown some dynamic play-making ability as Christian McCaffrey’s replacement.

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
The 49ers have just one viable receiver in Pierre Garcon. That definitely needs to change if Kirk Cousins is to have success in San Francisco.

  3. Cleveland Browns: Dontavius Russell, DT, Auburn
Cleveland’s defense is terrible, and part of the reason for this is that the interior is generating no pressure. That needs to change.

Pick change; previously Dre’Mont Jones, DT

  4. Chicago Bears: Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR, Indiana
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Bears spend two early picks on wide receiver, given their glaring lack of talent at the position.

  5. Los Angeles Chargers: Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma
Joseph Barksdale won’t be on the roster for much longer if he keeps struggling like he has in the first three weeks of the season.

  6. Arizona Cardinals: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State
As mentioned in the first round, the Cardinals need to bolster their offensive line, upgrading the ineffective Jared Veldheer.

Pick change; previously Derrius Guice, RB

  7. Cincinnati Bengals: Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State
No one should be surprised if the Bengals double up on offensive tackles in the first couple of rounds in the 2018 NFL Draft, based on how the offensive line has performed.

  8. Tennessee Titans: Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College
Brian Orakpo appears to be slowing down, while Kevin Dodd hasn’t shown that he can be an NFL-caliber player yet. There’s a good chance the Titans spend an early draft choice on an edge rusher to start across from Derrick Morgan.

Pick change; previously Porter Gustin, DE/OLB

  9. Dallas Cowboys: Antonio Callaway, WR, Florida
The Cowboys could use another threat in the receiving corps, and they’ve shown that they’re willing to take chances on troubled players. Antonio Callway has some major off-the-field issues, but some team could give him a shot in the second round.

  10. Oakland Raiders: Matthew Thomas, LB, Florida State
The Raiders have some of the worst linebacker play in the entire NFL, so this is an area they’ll need to focus on at some point next offseason.

  11. Cleveland Browns: Jordan Thomas, CB, Oklahoma
The Browns need to continue to attack their poor defense. If the loss to the Colts was any indication, they desperately need an upgrade at cornerback.

  12. Indianapolis Colts: Cameron Smith, LB, USC
The Colts did little to help their very weak inside linebacker group, which struggled to defend tight ends and pass-catching running backs last year. That is still the case.

  13. Miami Dolphins: Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin
The Dolphins could add another offensive weapon. Addressing tight end makes sense, as I don’t have much hope for Julius Thomas.

  14. San Francisco 49ers: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest
The 49ers need to upgrade their edge rush. Solomon Thomas should continue to improve, but they need some new blood across from the third-overall pick from 2017.

  15. Washington Redskins: Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina
Terrelle Pryor has struggled thus far, and he was signed to a 1-year deal anyway. I can’t see the Redskins retaining him if his poor play continues.

  16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
The Buccaneers are taking a chance on Doug Martin reverting back to 2015 form. We’ll see if that happens. If not, they’ll be looking for a running back early in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Akrum Wadley, RB

  17. Baltimore Ravens: Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama
The Ravens can’t trust Kenneth Dixon anymore, so they’ll need to find an upgrade over Terrance West.

  18. New York Jets: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are gone. Jermaine Kearse and Quincy Enunwa are not viable starters. The Jets need help at receiver. It was disappointing to see Courtland Sutton blanked against TCU, but he should still be chosen in the first two rounds.

Pick change; previously Deon Cain, WR

  19. Minnesota Vikings: Tyquan Lewis, DE, Ohio State
Brian Robison has stated that he’s going to retire after 2018, so the Vikings will need some new talent behind Everson Griffen and Danielle Hunter.

  20. Buffalo Bills: Akrum Wadley, RB, Iowa
It’s unclear why the Bills got rid of Jonathan Williams in favor of Mike Tolbert, but they’ll need to find another young running back behind LeSean McCoy.

Pick change; previously Nick Chubb, RB

  21. New York Jets: Billy Price, G/C, Ohio State
The Jets can address any position early in the 2018 NFL Draft with it making sense, excluding safety. Something they must do is bolster their poor offensive line to protect Clayton Thorson.

  22. Detroit Lions: Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
Ameer Abdullah is extremely talented, but he hasn’t been able to stay healthy. If he gets banged up again this year, Detroit could opt to move on with another running back.

  23. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
The Jaguars could use Mark Andrews, as they don’t have anything at tight end in the wake of the Julius Thomas trade.

  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn
Ben Roethlisberger has discussed retirement, so the Steelers need to think about using an early selection on a quarterback.

  25. New England Patriots: Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State
The Patriots need players – both on the edge and the interior – who can generate pressure on the quarterback, as that happens to be the one of two elements their defense is lacking right now (the other being help at linebacker around Dont’a Hightower).

Pick change; previously Roquan Smith, LB

  26. Buffalo Bills: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
The Bills traded Ronald Darby to the Eagles this offseason after losing Stephon Gilmore to the Patriots. They’ll need to obtain another cornerback.

  27. Atlanta Falcons: Vita Vea, NT, Washington
The Falcons have three defensive linemen set to hit free agency next spring, so this is an area they could attack in the 2018 NFL Draft.

  28. Cleveland Browns: John Kelly, RB, Tennessee
The Browns could easily spend the first-overall pick on Saquon Barkley. If they don’t, they’ll need someone else to upgrade the disappointing Isaiah Crowell.

  29. Denver Broncos: Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
The Broncos had two huge needs entering last offseason. One was their offensive line, which was addressed, but not nearly enough. The second was the inside linebacker group, which wasn’t touched. Denver liked Haason Reddick, but he was chosen seven spots earlier than its selection. The Broncos can finally obtain the answer with this choice.

  30. Carolina Panthers: Josh Sweat, DE, Florida State
The Panthers have a couple of aging edge rushers, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they added some young blood at the position.

Pick change; previously Timon Parris, OT

  31. Green Bay Packers: Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky
If it seems like the Packers have needed help at linebacker for years now, well, that’s because that has been the case. Green Bay must finally address this void.

Pick change; previously Jerome Baker, LB

  32. Kansas City Chiefs: Dante Pettis, WR, Washington
The Chiefs could use a second receiver to play across from Tyreek Hill.

Pick change; previously Courtland Sutton, WR
