Fantasy Football: Start Em, Sit Em: Week 2
Rather than quickly listing start em and sit em players on my Week 2 NFL Picks page, I thought I’d devote a page for this. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
Buffalo Bills (1-0) at Miami Dolphins (1-0)
Start Em:
BUF: QB Josh Allen, RB James Cook, TE Dalton Kincaid.
MIA: QB Tua Tagovailoa, RB De’Von Achane, WR Tyreek Hill, WR Jaylen Waddle.
Sit Em:
Curtis Samuel is injured. Even if he plays, he could be limited. He caught only two passes in the opener.
Las Vegas Raiders (0-1) at Baltimore Ravens (0-1)
Start Em:
Mark Andrews is blocking more, so Isaiah Likely has become the primary receiving threat.
LV: WR Davante Adams, TE Brock Bowers, Raiders Defense.
BAL: QB Lamar Jackson, RB Derrick Henry, WR Zay Flowers.
Sit Em:
I don’t anticipate Zamir White having much running room versus Baltimore.
I’d like to see Mark Andrews not look decrepit before trusting him.
Los Angeles Chargers (1-0) at Carolina Panthers (0-1)
Start Em:
J.K. Dobbins appears to be his former self despite the Achilles tear.
LAC: None.
CAR: None.
Sit Em:
The Panthers appear to be broken.

New Orleans Saints (1-0) at Dallas Cowboys (1-0)
Start Em:
NO: RB Alvin Kamara, WR Chris Olave.
DAL: WR CeeDee Lamb.
Sit Em:
Taysom Hill could always score a touchdown, but I’m not a fan of using gimmick players due to high variance.
It’s unclear what the rotation is going to be, and this is a tough matchup.
Jake Ferguson is week to week. Even if he plays, he may not be 100 percent.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) at Detroit Lions (1-0)
Start Em:
TB: WR Mike Evans, WR Chris Godwin (PPR).
DET: RB Jahmyr Gibbs, RB David Montgomery, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, TE Sam LaPorta.
Sit Em:
The Lions are stout against the run.

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) at Green Bay Packers (0-1)
Start Em:
IND: QB Anthony Richardson, RB Jonathan Taylor, WR Michael Pittman Jr.
GB: RB Josh Jacobs.
Sit Em:
Jayden Reed might be OK, but the Packer receivers are tough plays without “No Cookie” Jordan Love.

Cleveland Browns (0-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1)
Start Em:
Brian Thomas Jr. looks like the real deal. He may be Jacksonville’s No. 1 receiver already.
CLE: WR Amari Cooper.
JAX: RB Travis Etienne, WR Christian Kirk, TE Evan Engram.
Sit Em:
David Njoku is week to week. Even if he plays, he may not be 100 percent.

San Francisco 49ers (1-0) at Minnesota Vikings (1-0)

Fire up Jordan Mason if Christian McCaffrey is out again.
SF: RB Christian McCaffrey (if he plays), WR Deebo Samuel, WR Brandon Aiyuk, TE George Kittle.
MIN: RB Aaron Jones, WR Justin Jefferson.
Sit Em:
Jordan Addison is banged up.

Seattle Seahawks (0-0) at New England Patriots (0-0)
Start Em:
SEA: RB Kenneth Walker, WR D.K. Metcalf.
NE: RB Rhamondre Stevenson.
Sit Em:
I wouldn’t chase what we saw out of Tyler Lockett in Week 1.

New York Jets (0-1) at Tennessee Titans (0-1)
Start Em:
NYJ: RB Breece Hall, WR Garrett Wilson.
TEN: RB Tony Pollard, RB Tyjae Spears (PPR).

The Titans have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

New York Giants (0-1) at Washington Redskins (0-1)
Start Em:
NYG: WR Malik Nabers.
WAS: QB Jayden Daniels, WR Terry McLaurin.
Sit Em:
The Redskins are much better against the run than the pass.

Los Angeles Rams (0-1) at Arizona Cardinals (0-1)
Start Em:
The Cardinals can’t defend anything through the air.
LAR: RB Kyren Williams, WR Puka Nacua (if he plays), WR Cooper Kupp.
ARZ: QB Kyler Murray, RB James Conner, WR Marvin Harrison Jr, TE Trey McBride.
Sit Em:

Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)
Start Em:
CIN: QB Joe Burrow, WR Ja’Marr Chase.
KC: QB Patrick Mahomes, RB Isiah Pacheco, WR Rashee Rice.
Sit Em:
I’d be reluctant to use these two players until we see what the rotation is.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) at Denver Broncos (0-1)
Start Em:
Justin Fields is a solid play if he starts.
PIT: RB Najee Harris, WR George Pickens.
DEN: RB Javonte Williams.
Sit Em:
Jaylen Warren is banged up and may not be 100 percent.
I was already down on Courtland Sutton this year, and this is a tough matchup for him.

Chicago Bears (0-1) at Houston Texans (1-0)
Start Em:
CHI: WR D.J. Moore.
HOU: QB C.J. Stroud, RB Joe Mixon, WR Nico Collins, WR Stefon Diggs, WR Tank Dell.
Sit Em:
Caleb Williams looked rough in the opener, though that was a very tough matchup.

Atlanta Falcons (0-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)
Start Em:
ATL: RB Bijan Robinson, WR Drake London, TE Kyle Pitts.
PHI: QB Jalen Hurts, RB Saquon Barkley, WR A.J. Brown, WR DeVonta Smith, TE Dallas Goedert.
Sit Em:
