Bryce Young sucks. He’ll have a few more starts to potentially salvage his career once he takes his job back from Andy Dalton, but his disastrous performance to begin 2024 has to mean that Carolina will be interested in making amends for owner Axe Tepper’s terrible decision to choose Young over C.J. Stroud.
Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a top-five pick.

Also, if you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.
Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. My developer will be adding new features to paid subscribers as well, so look for that in the near future. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!
Quarterback may seem like the obvious choice, but the Giants may have grand plans to draft Arch Manning in 2026. He’s the top choice for New York in my 2026 NFL Mock Draft. The Giants can instead obtain a shutdown cornerback to fill a huge need for their poor secondary.
Travis Hunter has incredible athleticism and plus size. He’s an elite talent at both cornerback and receiver.
The Broncos lost some talented pass rushers in recent years, namely Bradley Chubb. They’ll need to find some new players who can get after Patrick Mahomes.
Harold Perkins is a beast who broke on to the scene with 7.5 sacks as a freshman. He’s an explosive player with tremendous instincts.
The Patriots have nothing at receiver unless Ja’Lynn Polk emerges. They need a true No. 1 option to give Drake Maye a fair chance.
Tetaiora McMillan has mismatch size for the NFL, and he was very productive during the ’23 season.
The Redskins lost Chase Young and Montez Sweat recently, leaving them absolutely nothing as far as edge rushers are concerned. Here’s a replacement for one of them.
James Pearce put a ton of pressure on the quarterback in ’23. He has a ton of potential, but he needs to fill out his frame.
Pick change; previously Mykel Williams, DE
The Rams could stand to bolster the pass protection, given how much worse Matthew Stafford is when pressured.
Will Campbell has average length, but is a nasty blocker.
Pick change; previously Kelvin Banks, OT
The Bears could stand to keep adding to their front seven so they have a dominant defense.
Mason Graham is a relentless player with a non-stop motor.
Jalen Ramsey just signed a new deal, but he looks washed up thus far in 2024. The Dolphins may have to find a new cornerback this offseason.
Will Johnson, who had a tremendous showing during the championship run, has a plus skill set and upside.
Pick change; previously T.J. Sanders, DT
The Jaguars made Jake Browning look like Joe Montana, and they couldn’t get Deshaun Watson off the field in Week 2. Their secondary needs help.
Nick Emmanwori has very rare cover skills for a safety who is built like a linebacker. He also possesses terrific instincts.
The Colts probably would have drafted a cornerback at No. 15 had Laiatu Latu not fallen to them. They still need help at the position.
Benjamin Morrison has a ton of upside as a 6-foot cornerback. He did a good job of limiting Marvin Harrison Jr.
Pick change; previously Mansoor Delane, CB
The Cowboys have a great edge rush, but they could add talent to the middle of the defensive line.
Tyleik Williams played well against Joe Alt in their ’23 matchup.
Pick change; previously Landon Jackson, DE/DT
Arizona was always expected to pass on a quarterback in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, but if Kyler Murray continues to suffer injuries, the Cardinals may not have a choice, especially if they have the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Then again, Arizona could continue to make excuses for Murray, especially if it misses out on the top two prospects. If so, perhaps the Cardinals will finally obtain a replacement for J.J. Watt or Chandler Jones.
Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia as a freshman.
Pick change; previously James Pearce, DE/OLB
The Titans are going to give Will Levis a chance next year. If he fails – sabotaging a potential win versus the Bears was not a good start – Tennessee could target a franchise quarterback at this spot.
Carson Beck has a huge arm, plus size, and quality accuracy.
Pick change; previously Quinn Ewers, QB
The Raiders wanted Michael Penix Jr., but the Falcons snatched him off the board. Here’s a new quarterback for the future.
Quinn Ewers has a big arm, but must improve his accuracy.
Pick change; previously Carson Beck, QB
If Darnell Mooney doesn’t pan out for the Falcons, the front office may be searching for another receiver to complement Drake London.
Luther Burden is a shifty receiver who can be used as a ball-carrier.
The Browns may want a long-term answer as an interior complement for Myles Garrett.
Landon Jackson has high upside and can play end in the 4-3 and five-tech in the 3-4.
Pick change; previously Tyleik Williams, DT
