This is a 2025 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 2 and 3 for Friday evening’s 2025 NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don’t expect to get many of these right – I nailed eight in my Re-Draft Rounds 2-3 in 2018 -, but it’s still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Nearly two decades ago, the Browns passed on Brady Quinn to much criticism, but then traded up into the end of the opening round to select the Notre Dame prospect. Perhaps history will repeat itself 18 years later, with Cleveland going after a quarterback with its second pick after passing on one with its initial selection.
Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a first-round pick.

Also, if you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.
Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. My developer will be adding new features to paid subscribers as well, so look for that in the near future. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!

I’m not breaking any news here by saying that the Texans need to draft an offensive lineman. They lost three blockers in fee agency. .
Aiereontae Ersery is an explosive lineman, and he is a very physical blocker at the point of attack.
35.

The Titans need to add weapons for Cam Ward to pair with Calvin Ridley.
Luther Burden is a shifty receiver who can be used as a ball-carrier.
36.

The Browns easily could have drafted Ashton Jeanty at No. 5. They passed on a much-needed running back, so they should draft one with this pick.
Treveyon Henderson has been an impressive runner and receiver out of the backfield.
37.

Once upon a time, the Raiders had interest in Will Johnson at No. 6. The knee issue scared them and everyone else, but there’s much less risk in the second round.
Will Johnson, who had a tremendous showing during the championship run, has a plus skill set and upside.
38.

The Patriots must protect Drake Maye at all cost. They need at least three offensive line upgrades in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ozzy Trapilo was a reliable blocker for Boston College. He’s a very tall right tackle prospect.
39.

Ben Johnson will be looking for a running back to pair with D’Andre Swift. Perhaps he’ll obtain his namesake in the second round.
Kaleb Johnson has a nice blend of size, speed, and power. He has natural running instincts.
40.

Derek Carr may miss all of 2025, and there’s a chance he never plays for the Saints again. Spencer “The Silver Snake” Rattler is on the team, but Kellen Moore may want his own quarterback.
Jalen Milroe is a dangerous runner who has a solid arm. He needs to improve his ability to read coverages.
41.

The Bears spent lots of resources on the interior of the offensive line. They’ll need to bolster the interior of the defensive line as well.
Darius Alexander was a solid player for Toledo who put decent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
42.

Edge rusher is in play for the Jets, given how poorly the Haason Reddick experiment panned out last year.
Donovan Ezeiruaku is a terrific edge rusher, but has some size limitations.
43.

It was shocking to see Nick Emmanwori fall out of the first round. The 49ers can draft him to replace Talanoa Hufanga.
Nick Emmanwori has very rare cover skills for a safety who is built like a linebacker. He also possesses terrific instincts.
44.

Dallas has nothing at running back. If Jerry Jones misses out on Ashton Jeanty, he could trade up for one of the next running backs in the second round.
Quinshon Judkins is a tough runner who was productive for Ole Miss before transferring to Ohio State.
45.

The Colts would have drafted Terrion Arnold last year had Laiatu Latu not fallen to them. They need cornerback help.
Shavon Revel has great speed and athleticism for a very large cornerback. He possesses terrific upside.
46.

Cornerback is a weak spot for the Rams. I even mocked this player to them at No. 26 in the weeks leading up to the draft.
Trey Amos is a tall cornerback with plus speed and athleticism.
47.

The Cardinals have had a weak cornerback group ever since Patrick Peterson departed.
Azareye’h Thomas is a very tall cornerback who provided tight coverage on receivers all year.
48.

The Dolphins need to improve their secondary. The safety position is a disaster.
Kevin Winston is a big hitter with speed who plays the run well.
49.

The Bengals sorely missed D.J. Reader last year, so here’s a replacement.
Alfred Collins is a tough run defender who gets some pressure on quarterbacks.
50.

The Seahawks lost DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and didn’t get a viable replacement unless you want to count a decrepit Cooper Kupp. A tight end is an option.
Elijah Arroyo recovered well off a torn ACL. He has great size, quickness and athleticism, and he’s a terrific route runner.
51.

The Broncos have a huge hole at the No. 2 wide receiver spot, and we know that Sean Payton loves his big wideouts.
Jayden Higgins is a massive receiver and a potential matchup nightmare in the NFL.
52.

The Seahawks had one of the weakest interior offensive lines in the NFL last year. Things got worse when Connor Williams retired.
Jared Wilson’s run blocking is ahead of his pass protection.
53.

It’s unclear why the Buccaneers drafted a fourth receiver over a starting linebacker, but maybe they can make amends for that with this pick.
Carson Schwesinger was a one-year wonder at UCLA, but was very productive thanks to his great instincts.
54.

The Packers need to improve their pass rush, so they’re expected to address the front seven early in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Landon Jackson has high upside and can play end in the 4-3 and five-tech in the 3-4.
55.

The Chargers need help generating pressure on the quarterback with Joey Bosa gone and Khalil Mack not too far behind him.
Mike Green has been a terror from the edge. He is very explosive and fast.
56.

The Bills need to copy what the Eagles did in the Super Bowl if they want to finally defeat the Chiefs.
J.T. Tuimoloau has flashed some great pass-rushing potential, but must be more consistent.
57.

The Panthers need to add talent to their defensive front so they don’t have the worst defense in the NFL again.
Nic Scourton had a breakout ’23 season with 10 sacks. He has a huge frame and possesses massive upside as a 4-3 defensive end.
58.

Two offensive linemen makes total sense for the Texans, who must improve the blocking in front of C.J. Stroud.
Wyatt Milum has the size and ability to be considered at tackle or guard, though the arm length is a concern.
59.

There’s chatter that Mark Andrews could be traded, so here’s a potential replacement.
Mason Taylor is an athletic receiving tight end.
60.

This pick has “Dan Campbell” written all over it, as the Lions need to fix their ailing pass rush.
Jack Sawyer was extremely productive to conclude his college football career.
61.

The Redskins went offensive line in the opening round. Here they go with the deensive line to help them stop Jalen Hurts.
Jordan Burch has immense potential as an athletic player with a big frame, but hasn’t been consistent.
62.

The Bills signed Joshua Palmer, but they still need one more receiver to add to the group.
Jalen Royals produced well at Utah State, but level of competition is a worry.
63.

The Chiefs signed Jaylon Moore and drafted Josh Simmons to fix left tackle, but they could also address the interior with Joe Thuney gone.
Tate Ratledge’s run blocking is ahead of his pass protection right now.
64.

The Eagles will be looking for a safety to replace Chauncey Gardner-Johnson.
Xavier Watts is a dangerous ballhawk who made lots of plays for Notre Dame.
