  1. Chicago Bears: Andre Carter, DE/OLB, Army Army
The Bears will be looking for pass rushers to replace Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn.

Andre Carter disappointed in his final season at Army.

Pick change; previously Habakkuk Baldonado, DE/OLB

  2. Buffalo Bills: Jayden Reed, WR, Michigan State Michigan State
It would be a surprise if the Bills didn’t add another receiver, given their depth issues at the position.

Jayden Reed is a smaller receiver, but he’s also very dangerous in terms of breaking big plays.

Pick change; previously Trey Palmer, WR

  3. Indianapolis Colts: Charlie Thomas, LB, Georgia Tech Georgia Tech
The Colts lost Bobby Okereke, so they’ll need to find some more linebacker depth.

Charlie Thomas is undersized for the NFL. He may have to move to safety.

  4. Denver Broncos: Jeremy Banks, LB, Tennessee
The Broncos don’t have much depth at linebacker, so I imagine they’ll spend a mid-round pick on the position.

Jeremy Banks is a tackling machine, but he’s a bit undersized for the NFL.

Pick change; previously Isaiah Moore, LB

  5. Cleveland Browns: Juice Scruggs, C, Penn State
The Browns have hosted several centers, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone if they address the position.

Pick change; previously Jakorian Bennett, CB

  6. Las Vegas Raiders: Nick Hampton, LB, Appalachian State Appalachian State
The Raiders have a weak linebacking corps that’ll have to be fixed at some point.

Nick Hampton is a very versatile linebacker.

Pick change; previously Jordan McFadden, OT/G

  7. Cleveland Browns: Dee Winters, LB, TCU TCU
The Browns could stand to add multiple linebackers during the draft.

Dee Winters is a solid run defender who can stand to improve in coverage.

  8. New York Jets: Dontay Demus Jr., WR, Maryland Maryland
The Jets are still looking for a receiver, and they could draft one if they don’t sign Odell Beckham.

Dontay Demus Jr. suffered a season-ending torn ACL in October 2021, but could still be a second-day pick because of his size (6-3) and athleticism.

  9. Las Vegas Raiders: Jay Ward, S, LSU LSU
The Raiders will be looking for more depth in their troublesome secondary.

Jay Ward made a good move from cornerback to safety.

  10. Carolina Panthers: Parker Washington, WR, Penn State PennState
The Panthers have a miserable receiving corps, so I have to believe that they’ll add multiple wideouts during the draft.

Parker Washington projects as a stud slot receiver in the NFL.

  11. New Orleans Saints: Jordan Battle, S, Alabama Alabama
The Saints have some old or failed safeties, so they’ll have to address this position.

Jordan Battle was solid at Alabama, but didn’t make many splash plays.

Pick change; previously A.T. Perry, WR

  12. Tennessee Titans: Sean Tucker, RB, Syracuse Syracuse
Derrick Henry has been the subject of trade rumors, so the Titans are bound to draft a running back.

Sean Tucker has three-down ability with plus instincts as a runer.

  13. Chicago Bears: Kei’Trel Clark, CB, Louisville Louisville
The Bears have a thin group of corners, so they could easily double up on the position.

Kei’Trel Clark is a smaller corner, but has great cover ability.

  14. Green Bay Packers: Jordan Howden, S, Minnesota Minnesota
Darnell Savage has struggled, so the Packers figure to bring in someone to challenge him.

NFL evaluators have been impressed with Jordan Howden, though he hasn’t been overly productive at Minnesota.

Pick change; previously Christopher Smith, S

  15. Washington Redskins: Byron Young, DT, Alabama Alabama
Teams are always looking for more depth on the defensive line so they can keep their top guys fresh in the fourth quarter.

Byron Young has quickness and athleticism, but is a bit undersized.

  16. Seattle Seahawks: Nick Herbig, DE/OLB, Wisconsin Wisconsin
Yet another edge rusher for the pass rushing-starved Seahawks.

Nick Herbig projects as a situational edge rusher, as he is undersized for a full-time role.

Pick change; previously Alex Forsyth, C

  17. Detroit Lions: Elijah Higgins, WR, Stanford Stanford
The Lions will be searching for another receiver to pair with Jameson Willams and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Elijah Higgins has nice speed and an ability to separate.

  18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Deuce Vaughn, RB, Kansas State Kansas State
The Buccaneers will be looking for a running back to pair with Rachaad White at some point.

Deuce Vaughn is an instinctive, elusive and quick runner.

Pick change; previously Andrew Vorhees, G/OT

  19. Seattle Seahawks: Jerrick Reed, S, New Mexico New Mexico
Here’s more help for Seattle’s secondary. The Seahawks have to deal with all of San Francisco’s weapons, so they’ll want as much defensive back help as possible.

Pick change; previously Richard Jibunor, DE/OLB

  20. San Francisco 49ers: Roschon Johnson, RB, Texas
Kyle Shanahan loves drafting running backs, so the 49ers will be doing that at some point.

Roschon Johnson was blocked by Bijan Robinson, but is a solid NFL Draft prospect. He is a physical back.

Pick change; previously Anfernee Orji, LB

  21. Los Angeles Chargers: Tiyon Evans, RB, Louisville Louisville
Austin Ekeler could be traded, so the Chargers should obtain a running back at some point.

Tiyon Evans missed some time with an undisclosed injury in ’22. He showed nice receiving ability at the combine.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: Clayton Tune, QB, Houston SMU
Depending on what the Ravens do with Lamar Jackson, they’ll need to acquire another quarterback.

Clayton Tune is an accurate quarterback with lots of playing experience.

  23. Minnesota Vikings: Rezjohn Wright, CB, Oregon State Oregon State
Given the Vikings’ problems at cornerback, it wouldn’t surprise me if they drafted three players at the position.

Rezjohn Wright is a big corner with good tape from Oregon State.

  24. Detroit Lions: K.J. Henry, DE, Clemson Clemson
The Lions could stand to add another pass rusher to combat Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen in the Super Bowl.

K.J. Henry played better this past season than his numbers indicate.

  25. New York Giants: Rakim Jarrett, WR, Maryland Maryland
It would be a huge upset if the Giants didn’t target multiple receivers in this draft.

Rakim Jarrett didn’t have big production this past year. He can play outside or in the slot.

Pick change; previously Nick Herbig, DE/OLB

  26. Houston Texans: Jaray Jenkins, WR, LSU LSU
Houston could draft three receivers, given how starved for talent the team is at the position.

Jaray Jenkins is a tall and raw receiver with some potential.

  27. Indianapolis Colts: McClendon Curtis, OT/G, UT-Chattanooga UT-Chattanooga
Indianapolis’ offensive line isn’t what it once was, so some help is needed in that area.

McClendon Curtis is a massive lineman capable of playing tackle and guard.

Pick change; previously Garrett Williams, CB

  28. Cincinnati Bengals: Eric Gray, RB, Oklahoma Oklahoma
Samaje Perine is gone, so the Bengals will need another running back who can catch passes.

Eric Gray was a solid back with quality receiving skills at Oklahoma.

  29. San Francisco 49ers: Kyu Blu Kelly, CB, Stanford Stanford
The 49ers don’t have very good cornerback depth, so they could use mid-round picks to fix that.

Kyu Blu Kelly has nice size, but was torched by Jordan Addison this past year.

  30. New Orleans Saints: C.J. Johnson, WR, East Carolina East Carolina
Michael Thomas has regressed, so the Saints will need to find another receiver.

Pick change; previously Jordan Battle, S

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Proctor, S, Ohio State Ohio State
The Chiefs lost Juan Thornhill this offseason, so they’ll need a new safety.

Josh Proctor missed most of the ’21 season with a fractured leg, but has great ability.

  32. Los Angeles Rams: Darrell Luter Jr., CB, South Alabama South Alabama
The Rams will be looking for a cornerback after trading Jalen Ramsey.

Darrell Luter produced at a small school, so he’ll need to prove that he can compete with the top prospects.

  33. Arizona Cardinals: Malik Knowles, WR, Kansas State Kansas State
The Cardinals will need to replace DeAndre Hopkins, who is set to be traded soon.

Malik Knowles has nice size for the NFL. Some NFL sources told Charlie Campbell that they like him.

  34. Dallas Cowboys: Jake Moody, K, Michigan Michigan
Brett Maher embarrassed himself in the playoffs. The Cowboys will be looking for a kicker.

  35. Green Bay Packers: Ryan Miller, WR, Furman Furman
Here’s another receiver for a team that is desperate for help at the position.

Pick change; previously Josh Vann, WR

  36. Los Angeles Rams: Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M TexasAM
Allen Robinson can’t get open anymore, so the Rams have to find another receiver.

Ainias Smith is coming off leg surgery that could drop him.

  37. New York Giants: Braeden Daniels, G, Utah Utah
The Giants need to keep improving their offensive line.

Braeden Daniels is strong, but seems to lack the athleticism to play tackle in the NFL.

  38. San Francisco 49ers: Cameron Latu, TE, Alabama Alabama
The 49ers likely will want to add another tight end to their roster at some point.

Cameron Latu has good size and athleticism.

Pick change; previously Ben Sims, TE

  39. Las Vegas Raiders: Josh Whyle, TE, Cincinnati Cincinnati
The Raiders lost Darren Waller and Foster Moreau this offseason, so they’ll have to find a tight end at some point.

Josh Whyle produced well last year despite enduring inconsistent quarterback play.

  40. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lance Boykin, CB, Coastal Carolina Coastal Carolina
The Buccaneers don’t have much depth at cornerback, so they’ll have to draft at least one at some point.

Lance Boykin is a huge cornerback. He may have to move to safety.

  41. Indianapolis Colts: T.J. Luther, WR, Gardner-Webb
The Colts could stand to add a receiver after losing Parris Campbell.

Pick change; previously McClendon Curtis, OT/G

  42. Los Angeles Rams: Riley Moss, CB, Iowa Iowa
Multiple cornerbacks will be needed to replace Jalen Ramsey.

Riley Moss had a knee injury in the past, but he erased speed concerns at the combine.
