This is a 2014 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 4 and 5 for Saturday evening’s NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don’t expect to get many of these right, but it’s still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 3 of the 2014 NFL Draft.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles: Dontae Johnson, CB, North Carolina State
    The Eagles still need cornerback help and have shown interest in Johnson.


  2. Washington Redskins: Victor Hampton, CB, South Carolina
    The Redskins grab a nickel corner to pair with DeAngelo Hall and David Amerson.


  3. Atlanta Falcons: Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State
    The Falcons wanted and missed out on Terrance West, but Devonta Freeman isn’t a bad option. He’ll help in pass protection for Matt Ryan.


  4. New York Jets: Martavius Bryant, WR, Clemson
    The Jets land a big, fast wide receiver to help their offense.




  5. New England Patriots: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers
    The Patriots take a corner for depth.


  6. San Francisco 49ers: Jaylen Watkins, CB, Florida
    The 49ers take a cornerback for depth.


  7. Oakland Raiders: Terrance Mitchell, CB, Oregon
    The Raiders signed some short-term veterans for their secondary, but could still use young talent to go with D.J. Hayden. Oakland has shown interest in Mitchell.


  8. Seattle Seahawks: Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU
    The Seahawks could use a disruptor for the inside of their line.


  9. Buffalo Bills: Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor
    The Bills could use a running back to eventually replace Fred Jackson. They’ve shown interest in Seastrunk.


  10. St. Louis Rams: A.J. McCarron, QB, Alabama
    The Rams grab some depth behind Sam Bradford.


  11. Seattle Seahawks: Carl Bradford, OLB/ILB, Arizona State
    The Seahawks could use depth at the LEO linebacker after losing Chris Clemons.


  12. Tennessee Titans: Vinnie Sunseri, S, Alabama
    The Titans could use some secondary depth at safety.




  13. New York Giants: Carl Bradford, OLB/ILB, Florida State
    The Giants need to improve their linebackers.


  14. Jacksonville Jaguars: Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty
    The Jaguars need a lot of help at corner, and Aikens was a favorite of theirs at the Senior Bowl.


  15. New York Jets: Keith McGill, WR, Utah
    The Jets add another corner and a player they showed interest in.


  16. Oakland Raiders: Caruan Reid, DT, Princeton
    The Raiders could use an interior disruptor.


  17. Chicago Bears: Dion Bailey, S, USC
    The Bears can use another defender for the back end.


  18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Justin Ellis, DT, Louisiana Tech
    The Steelers could use a young nose tackle.


  19. Dallas Cowboys: Cyril Richardson, G, Baylor
    Dallas grabs more offensive line talent. Doug Free will be gone in a year and Richardson, Zack Martin, Travis Frederick and Tyron Smith could form a tough offensive line.


  20. Arizona Cardinals: James Hurst, OT, North Carolina
    The Cardinals get a potential right tackle.




  21. Green Bay Packers: Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State
    Having lost Evan Dietrich-Smith, the Packers grab some depth for their offensive line.


  22. Tennessee Titans: Taylor Hart, DE, Oregon
    The Titans could use a five-technique for their 3-4.


  23. Cincinnati Bengals: Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech
    The Bengals grab a quarterback to push Andy Dalton.


  24. Kansas City Chiefs: Tom Savage, QB, Pittsburgh
    The Chiefs will always look at the quarterbacks under Andy Reid.




  25. Miami Dolphins: David Yankey, G, Stanford
    The Dolphins could use more help at guard.


  26. New Orleans Saints: Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood
    The Saints grab another corner, and they’ve shown interest in Desir.


  27. Cleveland Browns: Bruce Ellington, CB, South Carolina
    The Browns grab a receiving weapon.


  28. Carolina Panthers: Telvin Smith, OLB, Florida State
    The Panthers grab an outside linebacker they’ve shown interest in.


  29. San Francisco 49ers: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma
    The 49ers could draft multiple cornerbacks and have shown interest in Colvin. San Francisco drafted Marcus Lattimore after his knee injury, so I don’t think that will back the organization off a good value like Colvin. The 49res can stash him on injured reserve for a year just like Brandon Thomas.


  30. New England Patriots: Cameron Fleming, OT, Stanford
    The Patriots could use some offensive line depth.


  31. Denver Broncos: Chris Smith, DE/OLB, Arkansas
    The Broncos add an edge rusher for depth.


  32. Seattle Seahawks: Brent Urban, DE/DT Virginia
    The Seahawks could use more depth on the defensive line after losing some veterans in free agency.


  33. Detroit Lions: Shaq Evans, WR, UCLA
    The Lions grab some wide receiver competition.


  34. Baltimore Ravens: Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson
    It wouldn’t hurt the Ravens to add some competition for Tyrod Taylor.


  35. Houston Texans: Andre Williams, RB, Boston College
    The Texans grab another running back to pair with Arian Foster and Andre Brown. Williams offers a physical runner for first and second down.


  36. Detroit Lions: Larry Webster, DE, Bloomsburg
    The Lions grab another edge rusher and have shown lots of interest in Webster.


  37. New York Jets: Yawin Smallwood, ILB, Connecticut
    The Jets add some linebacker competition.


  38. Baltimore Ravens: Rashaad Reynolds, CB, Oregon State
    The Ravens go best player available and grab some cornerback depth.


  39. Atlanta Falcons: Jordan Tripp, LB, Montana
    The Falcons could bolster their linebacking corps and seem interested in Tripp.


  40. New England Patriots: DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State
    The Patriots bolster the interior of their defensive line.
