This page lists all the 2025 NFL Signings for the Baltimore Ravens. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

June 2025 – Signings
Ravens sign CB Jaire Alexander: A+ Grade
signed on 6/18/2025
The Ravens had one of the best records in the AFC last year, but they were very flawed defensively. They couldn’t stop the pass at all until they moved Kyle Hamilton to safety, and that’s when their run defense suffered. They had to upgrade their secondary this offseason, and that’s exactly what they did. They signed Chidobe Awuzie and then drafted Malaki Starks, but they apparently believed that they needed one more piece. That final piece is Jaire Alexander.
Alexander is an extremely talented cornerback, but comes with some major injury risks. He has missed 34 games in the past four seasons, but perhaps a different training regimen with his new team will help. Either way, Alexander comes with no risk. The ceiling is huge because, if healthy, Alexander will be able to shut down his side of the field. He, Marlon Humphrey and Awuzie will form a terrific trio at cornerback.

Ravens re-sign WR Rashod Bateman (3 years, $36.8 million): C Grade
signed on 6/5/2025
A year ago, I would have laughed at the idea of the Ravens re-signing Rashod Bateman to a contract worth $12 million per season. Well, a lot can change in a year. Thanks to his solid 2025 campaign, Bateman received such a contract.
I’m still not a fan of this move, though I won’t give the Ravens a Millen like I would have the prior offseason. Prior to 2024, Bateman hadn’t crossed 515 yards in a single year. He just had his best year with 756 yards and nine scores, but touchdowns can be very fluky, so I would expect some major regression in that category. This contract looks like an overpay, though the argument could be made that Bateman, as a former first-round pick, is only 25, so he has some untapped potential.

April 2025 – Signings
Ravens sign CB Chidobe Awuzie (1 year, $1.25 million): A+ Grade
signed on 4/3/2025
The Ravens had a huge problem stopping the pass last year. That seemed to get better late in the season, but that improvement was just a mirage, resulting from a weaker pass defense schedule. Baltimore had to find some upgrades at cornerback this offseason, and Chidobe Awuzie certainly qualifies.
Awuzie dealt with injuries in Tennessee last year, but he should still be good enough to be a viable starting cornerback. There’s no risk here, as Awuzie signed a cheap, 1-year deal. He turns 30 in May, but he shouldn’t be regressing just yet.

March 2025 – Signings
Ravens sign QB Cooper Rush (2 years, $6.5 million): A Grade
signed on 3/16/2025
Average quarterbacks make about $4 million per season. Yet, Cooper Rush didn’t even get $3.5 million annually. Rush did a relatively good job for the most part last year when he stepped in for the injured Dak Prescott, so I’m surprised he didn’t get a bigger contract.
This signing makes a ton of sense. The Ravens are a Super Bowl contender, so they need a strong backup in case Lamar Jackson misses action. Jackson has an injury history, so there’s a good chance Rush will have to step in at some point.

Ravens sign WR DeAndre Hopkins (1 year, $5 million): C Grade
signed on 3/11/2025
This signing will be heavily discussed, but I don’t thin it’ll move the needle at all. Hopkins was a non-factor in many games down the stretch last year despite being paired with Patrick Mahomes. Then, in the Super Bowl, Hopkins dropped the biggest pass of his life. Hopkins, now 33, is cooked. It’s a shame because he’s had such a great career, but I don’t see him contributing much this year. Having said that, this is a cheap, 1-year deal, so it won’t backfire if Hopkins disappoints.

Ravens re-sign OT Ronnie Stanley (3 years, $60 million): A- Grade
signed on 3/8/2025
There was reason for pessimism regarding the Ravens’ chances of going deep into the playoffs next year, and that was rooted in the possibility that Ronnie Stanley would depart. Stanley was set to have his contract expire, but he re-signed with the team for $60 million over three seasons.
This is a great move by the Ravens, as Stanley’s presence allows Baltimore to continue to be one of the best teams in the AFC. Stanley is a terrific left tackle and will keep Lamar Jackson’s blind side safe when he’s on the field. The only negative thing that can be said about this deal is that Stanley has a very dubious injury history, but allowing him to walk away would have been a big mistake.
