This page lists all the 2025 NFL Signings for the Jacksonville Jaguars. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

March 2025 – Signings
Jaguars sign C Robert Hainsey (3 years, $21 million): B Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
I figured a Buccaneer player would follow Liam Coen to Jacksonville. I thought it would be Chris Godwin, however. Robert Hainsey ended up being that player, and he should be Jacksonville’s new starting center. Hainsey is a career backup, but he has shown well when asked to start. He also knows Coen’s offense, so this will be a smooth transition. I’m not crazy about the contract, but I think it’s an OK deal.

Jaguars sign G/OT Patrick Mekari (3 years, $37.5 million): A Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
The Jaguars needed to do everything in their power to bolster their offensive line. They still have work to do in that regard, but this signing was a great start to their offseason plans.
Patrick Mekari struggled at right tackle, but found a home at guard. He’ll be able to play well there if the Jaguars use him correctly. Utilizing him at tackle would be a big blunder, so whether Mekari pans out in Jacksonville will depend on where he starts.

Jaguars sign WR Dyami Brown (1 year, $10 million): C+ Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
At first glance, this seems like an insane amount of money for Dyami Brown. However, he’s only 25 and showed some potential last year with a couple of big games down the stretch. There’s a chance that he could develop into a viable starter in the NFL. That’s not something I would bet on, but I can’t grade this contract too poorly because of the upside. Still, the Jaguars should have been able to obtain Brown at a cheaper rate.

Jaguars sign S Eric Murray (3 years, $22.5 million): D Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
The Jaguars have a long history of overpaying for mediocre players, and the tradition has continued in this new regime of theirs. Signing Eric Murray to a contract worth more than $7 million per season seems insane. Not only is Murray just an average player who has been a backup in two of the past three seasons; he’s also 31. He had some nice moments last year, but he shouldn’t have received this sort of money from anyone.

Jaguars sign QB Nick Mullens (2 years, $6.5 million): B+ Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
Finally, we have a reasonable backup quarterback contract. Mediocre reserve signal-callers should get about $4 million per year. Nick Mullens qualifies as being an average backup, and yet he’s getting less than that.
This is an important move for the Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence has spent the past two seasons on the injury report, so Jacksonville needed a reliable backup for the former No. 1 overall pick.

Jaguars sign CB Jourdan Lewis (3 years, $30 million): C Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
Jourdan Lewis has experienced a roller coaster career. He’s coming off his best season as a pro, but it seems as though the Jaguars are buying high and paying on past production. Lewis could play well for them in the slot, but he could also regress. He turns 30 this season, after all, so it’s fair to wonder if we’ll ever see the 2024 version of Lewis ever again.
