This page lists all the 2025 NFL Signings for the Green Bay Packers. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

April 2025 – Signings
Packers sign LB Isaiah Simmons (1 year): B Grade
signed on 4/28/2025
Isaiah Simmons was seen as a special player entering the 2020 NFL Draft. He went eighth overall to the Cardinals, but turned into a colossal bust. He barely played for the Giants last year, and when he did, he was utterly awful.
Simmons, however, is still just 26. It wouldn’t be the craziest thing if he emerged as a late bloomer and turned his career around. I don’t think it’ll happen, but I’m fine with the Packers taking a chance on that happening.

March 2025 – Signings
Packers sign WR/KR Mecole Hardman (1 year, $1.5 million): A- Grade
signed on 3/26/2025
Mecole Hardman has been a bust as a former second-round pick, but he still has a role in the NFL. Hardman can return kickoffs and be a gadget player on a couple of plays per game. With the NFL potentially moving up touchbacks to the 35-yard line, returners will be more important than ever, so Hardman could end up being quite important for Green Bay despite being signed to a cheap contract.

Packers sign CB Nate Hobbs (4 years, $48 million): A+ Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
Here’s another splash for the Packers. Nate Hobbs is a terrific slot cornerback. His role wouldn’t have been as great two decades go, but the NFL has changed, and now he plays a crucial role.
I love this move. The Packers needed to strengthen their secondary, and Hobbs will allow that to happen. Hobbs is also just 26, so there shouldn’t be any regression throughout the duration of this deal.

Packers sign G Aaron Banks (4 years, $77 million): B Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
The Packers don’t often make moves in free agency, but when they do, it’s often a big splash. This qualifies, as Aaron Banks will be set to make nearly $20 million per year to bolster the offensive line.
This is an overpay, but not an egregious one. Aaron Banks is a good guard, but not a great guard. However, he’s just 27, so he can improve upon his game. He should be a valuable piece to help “No Cookie” Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs have better seasons.

Packers re-sign LB Isaiah McDuffie (2 years, $8 million): B Grade
signed on 3/3/2025
Isaiah McDuffie is certainly not a household name, but he’s accumulated 183 tackles over the past two seasons. He struggles in coverage, but happens to be a decent player when it comes to run support.
This is a fine re-signing. With his experience and run-stopping ability, McDuffie is worth about $8 million over two years, so this re-signing should get a solid “B” grade.
