This page lists all the 2025 NFL Signings for the Chicago Bears. I’ve listed all of the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here, which included the Signings. Because I’ve begun posting polls for the Signings, I thought it would make sense to list just the NFL Signings here, so archiving the voting would be easier.

April 2025 – Signings
Bears extend LB T.J. Edwards (2 years, $20 million): B+ Grade
signed on 4/17/2025
T.J. Edwards signed a $19.5 million contract with Chicago two years ago. This seemed like a bargain, and now Edwards will have $20 million over two years added to his deal.
Edwards is coming off a bit of a down year, so the timing of this extension is a bit odd. However, Edwards was great in 2023. He’s still just 28, so he could easily rebound and have a solid 2025 campaign.

Bears re-sign CB Kyler Gordon (3 years, $40 million): A Grade
signed on 4/11/2025
Several days after the Texans re-signed their slot cornerback, Jalen Pitre, to a 3-year deal, the Bears did the same with theirs. Kyler Gordon, however, will receive $1 million more than Pitre, making him the highest-paid slot corner in the league.
Gordon certainly deserves that distinction. He was one of Chicago’s best defenders last year, regardless of position, and he’s only 25. He’ll continue to play at a high level throughout the duration of this contract, and I could see this deal potentially being viewed as a bargain in a year or two.

Bears sign QB Case Keenum (1 year, $3 million): A- Grade
signed on 4/3/2025
You’re not crazy if you thought Case Keenum was out of the NFL. That’s because he sort of was last year. He suffered an injury in August and missed all of 2024. Now, at 37, Keenum will be on an NFL roster for another season.
Despite Keenum’s age and recent injury, I like this signing. Experience is one thing Chicago’s quarterback room lacks, as Tyson Bagent is Caleb Williams’ backup. Keenum will be a helpful voice in the locker room, which should help Williams develop.

March 2025 – Signings
Bears sign WR Olamide Zaccheaus (1 year, $1.5 million): B+ Grade
signed on 3/25/2025
The Bears obtained Keenan Allen last offseason, but he was mostly a disappointment. He had some great performances at the end of the year, but he reported to camp overweight and was sluggish for the first half of the season.
Allen is no longer on the team, so Olamide Zaccheaus will take his place. Zaccheaus isn’t nearly as good, but he’s younger and cheaper. He had some decent performances with Jayden Daniels last year, so perhaps he can help the other top-two quarterback from the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bears sign DT Grady Jarrett (3 years, $43.5 million): D Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
This contract is pretty wild. The Falcons just cut Grady Jarrett, yet the veteran defensive tackle was snatched up very quickly. Most of the moves done today were discussed at the combine, but this just happened even though Atlanta was willing to part ways with its long-time player.
The Bears must not have watched tape on Jarrett. If they had, they wouldn’t have given him this much money. Jarrett used to be a terrific defensive lineman, but at 32, he looked washed last year. Perhaps he can rebound with one more strong season, but this is a huge overpay.

Bears sign DE Dayo Odeyingbo (3 years, $48 million): B- Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
Dayo Odeyingbo is coming off a down year, so I didn’t think he’d get a contract like this. He struggled to get to the quarterback and was even worse versus the run in 2024. This did not affect his free agency haul, however.
Despite the down year, I can see why the Bears gave Odeyingbo so much money. He logged 12 sacks in 2023, and he’s only 25. He has immense upside, so that obviously has to be considered for this grade.

Bears sign C Drew Dalman (3 years, $42 million): A+ Grade
signed on 3/10/2025
The Bears had severe offensive line issues entering the offseason. They traded for Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, but still had a hole at center. That hole has now been plugged in the wake of this signing.
Drew Dalman was the top center on the market. He has emerged as an excellent player and is only 26. This is a terrific signing for the Bears. There are no more excuses for Caleb Williams.
