  1. Buffalo Bills: Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
LeSean McCoy turns 30 this summer, so the Bills should start thinking about finding a successor for him.

  2. New York Giants: Austin Corbett, C/G, Nevada
The Giants obviously need to do something about their poor offensive line. They’ve already signed Nate Solder, but they lost Justin Pugh and Weston Richburg. Multiple picks should be used on interior blockers.

  3. Indianapolis Colts: Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
Here’s more help for Andrew Luck. Donte Moncrief is gone, so Indianapolis needs to find a new No. 2 receiver to start across from T.Y. Hilton.

  4. Houston Texans: Brandon Parker, OT, North Carolina A&T
Houston has one of the weakest offensive lines in the NFL. Multiple picks have to be used to upgrade the putrid front in order to keep Deshaun Watson healthy.

  5. New York Giants: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State
The Giants signed Nate Solder, but they could still be in the market for a tackle, as there is still a problem on the other side. Plus, Solder’s durability isn’t great.

  6. San Francisco 49ers: Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State
The 49ers are desperate for receiving talent, so I could see them doubling up at the position on the first two days of the 2018 NFL Draft.

  7. Denver Broncos: Terrell Edmunds, LB/S, Virginia Tech
The Broncos were going to consider Haason Reddick at No. 20 if he fell to them in last year’s draft, but the Cardinals scooped him up seven picks earlier. Here’s some linebacker help that Denver desperately needs.

Pick change; previously Darius Leonard, LB

  8. New York Jets: Brian O’Neill, OT, Pittsburgh
The Jets traded up for a quarterback, so they’ll have to spend their next resource helping that signal-caller. This includes finding some much-needed help on the offensive line.

  9. Miami Dolphins: Justin Jones, DT, N.C. State
The Dolphins lost Ndamukong Suh, so they’ll need to find someone half as potent to replace his dominant presence in the interior of the defensive line.

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State
The 49ers signed Jerick McKinnon this offseason, but he’s not built to carry a big workload. San Francisco may opt to draft a running back who pairs well with McKinnon.

  11. Oakland Raiders: Geron Christian, OT, Louisville
Donald Penn turns 35 soon, so the Raiders need to think about finding a long-term solution at left tackle.

  12. Green Bay Packers: Lorenzo Carter, DE/OLB, Georgia
The Packers could use another edge rusher. I’ve had them taking Marcus Davenport at times in the opening round. If they don’t get him, this is another option.

  13. Cincinnati Bengals: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
The Bengals have some impending free agents at cornerback, so they could use a third- or fourth-round pick on the position.

Pick change; previously Nick Nelson, CB

  14. Kansas City Chiefs: Rasheem Green, DE/DT, USC
The Chiefs could stand to improve most areas of their defense. Here, they can continue to bolster the interior of their stop unit.

  15. Arizona Cardinals: Da’Shawn Hand, DE/DT, Alabama
Robert Nkemdiche has been a disappointment thus far, so the Cardinals should bring in someone to challenge him.

  16. Houston Texans: Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida State
The Texans added some nice pieces to their secondary this offseason, but they could still stand to add another cornerback.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Antonio Callaway, WR, Florida
The Cowboys could use another threat in the receiving corps, and they’ve shown that they’re willing to take chances on troubled players. Antonio Callaway has some major off-the-field issues, but some team could give him a shot on Day 2.

  18. Detroit Lions: Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
The Lions need to spend an early resource to improve their dreadful ground game. They could take a running back as early as No. 20 overall, but this makes sense as well.

  19. Baltimore Ravens: Tony Brown, CB, Alabama
Unless Brandon Carr takes a big pay cut, I can’t see him being back next year. The Ravens could pursue another cornerback early in the draft if Carr leaves.

  20. Los Angeles Chargers: Uchenna Nwosu, DE/OLB, USC
The Chargers have two excellent edge rushers in Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram, but they don’t have much depth behind them, especially with Jeremiah Attaochu gone.

  21. Carolina Panthers: Nick Nelson, CB, Wisconsin
The Panthers signed Ross Cockrell this offseason, but he’s not enough to fix the woes the team has endured at cornerback since Josh Norman was let go.

Pick change; previously Duke Ejiofor, DE

  22. Kansas City Chiefs: Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
The Chiefs didn’t have much at receiver outside of Tyreek Hill entering this offseason. They signed Sammy Watkins, but I could see them adding another wideout after losing Albert Wilson.

  23. Los Angeles Rams: Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon
Andrew Whitworth won’t be around for much longer, so the Rams will need to groom someone to replace him.

Pick change; previously Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, DE/OLB

  24. Carolina Panthers: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest
Given Carolina’s big need for edge rushers, I could see the team doubling up on the position in the first few rounds.

Pick change; previously Mark Andrews, TE

  25. Tennessee Titans: Tim Settle, NT, Virginia Tech
Sylvester Williams turned out to be a poor addition for the Titans, so they could decide that they need to find a new nose tackle.

  26. Atlanta Falcons: Trey Quinn, WR, SMU
Matt Ryan has limited downfield options outside of Julio Jones. Atlanta’s offense basically shuts down whenever Jones is injured, so adding another receiver would help.

  27. New Orleans Saints: Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State
The Saints tried to sign Jimmy Graham this offseason, but Green Bay landed him instead. Ben Watson was signed, but he’s obviously not a long-term solution.

Pick change; previously Simmie Cobbs, WR

  28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Marcus Allen, S, Penn State
The Steelers signed Morgan Burnett, but they could use a mid-round pick to find a long-term solution at the position.

Pick change; previously Kalen Ballage, RB

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
The Jaguars could be looking into adding a mid-round linebacker in the wake of Paul Posluszny’s retirement.

  30. Minnesota Vikings: Deontay Burnett, WR, USC
It sounds as though the Vikings are willing to give up on Laquon Treadwell, meaning they could be looking for another receiver in the middle of the 2018 NFL Draft.

  31. New England Patriots: Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond
Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett are both gone, so the Patriots need a new young quarterback to eventually replace Tom Brady.

  32. Buffalo Bills: M.J. Stewart, CB, North Carolina
The Bills signed Vontae Davis this offseason, but they’ll need to add another cornerback early in the draft because of Davis’ injury history.

Pick change; previously Duke Dawson, CB

  33. Arizona Cardinals: DeShon Elliott, S, Texas
The Cardinals inexplicably cut Tyrann Mathieu, who signed with the Texans. They’ll have to find a replacement for him early in the draft.

  34. Houston Texans: Greg Senat, OT, Wagner
The Texans must continue to upgrade their poor offensive line to keep Deshaun Watson from getting injured again.

  35. Denver Broncos: Alex Cappa, OT, Humboldt State
The Broncos had one of the worst situations at right tackle this past season. That’s a situation that absolutely needs to be fixed.

  36. Cincinnati Bengals: Jaylen Samuels, TE, N.C. State
The Bengals should give Andy Dalton more weapons, and they can’t count on Tyler Eifert ever playing extensive action again.
