  1. Cleveland Browns: Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
The Browns have talked about having higher-character players on the roster, so they may not want the lethargic Isaiah Crowell hanging around much longer.

Pick change; previously Tajae Sharpe, WR

  2. Philadelphia Eagles: Connor McGovern, G, Missouri
The Eagles signed Brandon Brooks this offseason to bolster one of the guard spots. They could stand to add another interior lineman.

Pick change; previously Christian Westerman, G

  3. Dallas Cowboys: Tyler Ervin, RB, San Jose State
Darren McFadden looked good this past season, but the Cowboys can’t really count on him for the long term. The same goes for Alfred Morris. Here’s their running back of the future.

Pick change; previously Maliek Collins, DT

  4. San Diego Chargers: Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska
The Chargers bolstered their offensive line earlier. Now, they have to look to upgrade their defensive front. They added Brandon Mebane in free agency, but another lineman is needed.

Pick change; previously Jerell Adams, TE

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Artie Burns, CB, Miami
The Jaguars signed Prince Amukamara, but that was to a short-term deal. Here’s a solution for the long haul.

  6. Baltimore Ravens: Scooby Wright, LB, Arizona
Daryl Smith’s play has dropped off recently, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the Ravens draft a successor at some point.

  7. San Francisco 49ers: Charone Peake, WR, Clemson
The 49ers are so desperate at receiver that they could select multiple players at the position in the first few rounds.

  8. Chicago Bears: Kevon Seymour, CB, USC
The Bears entered the offseason needing to bolster their group of cornerbacks, yet the only thing they’ve really done thus far is re-sign Tracy Porter, who struggled down the stretch last season.

Pick change; previously Paul Perkins, RB

  9. Miami Dolphins: Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State
I don’t understand what the Dolphins did this offseason, but they apparently think that the recipe to winning a Super Bowl is to acquire as many old, declining defensive ends as possible. OK, I’m sure they truly don’t believe that, but they do need lots of young blood at the position after allowing Olivier Vernon to walk.

Pick change; previously Sebastian Tretola, G

  10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford
The Buccaneers have a weak spot on the right side of their offensive line that should be addressed.

Pick change; previously Willie Beavrs, OT

  11. New York Giants: Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah
The Giants’ pass defense has been atrocious this season. Their safety play has been horrific. This position could be addressed even earlier.

  12. Los Angeles Rams: Jerell Adams, TE, South Carolina
Jared Cook was discussed as a potential cap casualty. Fortunately, the team finally pulled the trigger. Cook has stolen countless millions from the Rams’ organization. Cutting ties with one of the laziest players in the NFL has been long overdue.

Pick change; previously Kevon Seymour, CB

  13. Detroit Lions: Rashard Robinson, CB, LSU
The Lions had some solid cornerback play last year, but they lost one player at the position in Rashean Mathis, who announced his retirement. Depth is needed.

  14. New Orleans Saints: Deiondre’ Hall, CB, Northern Iowa
The Saints have to bolster their secondary. Knowing Brandon Browner, he’ll still be penalized even though he’s not on the team.

  15. Tennessee Titans: Charles Tapper, DE, Oklahoma
The Titans have two strong pass-rushers in Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo, but they could use some depth on the edge.

Pick change; previously Kamalei Correa, DE/OLB

  16. Oakland Raiders: Jonathan Jones, CB, Auburn
Here’s more secondary help for the Raiders. Sean Smith was signed to go along with David Amerson, but depth could be used behind those two players.

  17. Atlanta Falcons: Brandon Allen, QB, Arkansas
The Falcons should think about grooming a backup quarterback, as they don’t really have anything behind Matt Ryan.

  18. Indianapolis Colts: Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA
Frank Gore doesn’t have much left in the tank, so the Colts will need to find someone who can take over in the near future.

Pick change; previously Jordan Howard, RB

  19. Buffalo Bills: Hassan Ridgeway, NT, Texas
Kyle Williams, who turns 33 this offseason, is due $7 million in 2016, so the Bills could part ways with him.

Pick change; previously Charles Tapper, DE

  20. New York Jets: James Cowser, DE/OLB, Southern Utah
The Jets have needed help at outside linebacker for quite some time now. Finding a better pass rush would help take care of some of the issues in the secondary.

  21. Houston Texans: Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame
The Texans can afford to wait on Jaylon Smith. Brian Cushing won’t be around much longer, so Smith could step in if he recovers. Unfortunately, Smith may never play in the NFL because of nerve damage in his knee.

  22. Washington Redskins: Evan Boehm, C, Missouri
One of the reasons Washington’s running game was so erratic was because the team has gotten poor play out of its center. This is the primary position the Redskins need to upgrade up front.

  23. Minnesota Vikings: Willie Henry, DT, Michigan
The Vikings could stand to benefit adding some depth to the interior of their defensive front.

  24. Cincinnati Bengals: KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame
Pacman Jones was terrific this past season, but with he and Leon Hall both older than 30, the Bengals will have to find some young blood at cornerback.

  25. Pittsburgh Steelers: Beniquez Brown, ILB, Mississippi State
I mocked Jaylon Smith here a couple of weeks ago. Another inside linebacker makes sense, as Pittsburgh can wait on him to eventually take over for Lawrence Timmons.

  26. Seattle Seahawks: Kenyan Drake, RB, Alabama
The Seahawks have Thomas Rawls set to take over for Marshawn Lynch, but depth is needed behind him.

Pick change; previously Tyler Ervin, RB

  27. Green Bay Packers: Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
The Packers have a solid first-string offensive line. The reason they struggled to block in 2015 was because they had zero depth to properly replace injured players. That needs to change.

  28. Kansas City Chiefs: Sebastian Tretola, G, Arkansas
Andy Reid may panic at this juncture, realizing that he hasn’t addressed his offensive line yet. They need guard help in the wake of Jeff Allen’s departure.

Pick change; previously Kyle Murphy, OT

  29. Chicago Bears: Christian Westerman, G, Arizona State
The Bears could use the selection they acquired for Martellus Bennett to fill some holes they have on the offensive line. Both the tackle and guard spots need to be addressed.

Pick change; previously Connor McGovern, G

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Isaac Seumalo, C/G, Oregon State
The Cardinals traded away an interior lineman during the second week of free agency, so here’s another. They’ve needed help at center for quite a while.

  31. Carolina Panthers: Aziz Shittu, DE, Stanford
The Panthers re-signed Charles Johnson and have Kony Ealy as a starter across from him, but Johnson was brought back on a 1-year deal. He could be gone after this season, so I wouldn’t blame Carolina for drafting a defensive end in the first few rounds.

  32. Baltimore Ravens: Joe Schobert, DE/OLB, Wisconsin
The Ravens need some young blood on the edge, as neither Terrell Suggs nor Elvis Dumervil will be around much longer.

  33. Green Bay Packers: Jordan Howard, RB, Indiana
The Packers managed to re-sign James Starks, but running back remains a need because of Eddie Lacy’s weight problems (though from pictures, he looks like he’s shed an entire human being.)

Pick change; previously Anthony Zettel, DE/DT

  34. Baltimore Ravens: Spencer Drango, OT, Baylor
It appears as though the Ravens want to cut ties with the overpaid and injury-prone Eugene Monroe, but they’ll need to spend an early selection on a left tackle in order to do that.

Pick change; previously Anthony Zettel, DE/DT

  35. San Francisco 49ers: Maurice Canady, CB, Virginia
The 49ers haven’t selected a cornerback yet, and with extra picks at their disposal, they’re bound to do so at some point.

  36. Baltimore Ravens: Kenny Lawler, WR, California
The Ravens brought in Mike Wallace, a curious decision, but one that could work. Here’s a backup plan in case Wallace fails, just like he did in Miami and Minnesota.

  37. Dallas Cowboys: Tyvis Powell, S, Ohio State
Even if the Cowboys keep Byron Jones at safety, they might be interested in adding some competition to the other starting spot.

  38. Denver Broncos: Jihad Ward, DE/DT, Illinois
The Broncos can double up on defensive linemen here, as they’ll need some depth to go along with the starter they obtained in the first round.

  39. Green Bay Packers: Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State
Giving Aaron Rodgers another play-maker in the middle rounds wouldn’t be the worst idea, especially after what happened last year.

  40. Cleveland Browns: Anthony Zettel, DE/DT, Penn State
The Browns are pretty thin on the defensive line, so I anticipate them spending a mid-round choice on depth.

Pick change; previously Jayron Kearse, S

  41. Buffalo Bills: Denver Kirkland, G/OT, Arkansas
The Bills almost lost Richie Incognito this offseason, which might have made them realize that they don’t have much behind him.
