  1. Cleveland Browns: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
The Browns have to use an early-round pick on a receiver eventually, right? They can’t keep going with retreads. A new starter across from Travis Benjamin is needed.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tennessee Titans: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
The Titans struggled to run the ball all year, as all of their running backs have disappointed. They’ll have to explore other options at the position. Luckily, Derrick Henry should be available atop Round 2.

  3. Dallas Cowboys: Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State
Jerry Jones has said many stupid things recently, but he was right on the money when he stated that his team had to find a quality backup quarterback this offseason. Dallas has nothing behind Tony Romo, and it wouldn’t hurt to grab a future replacement for him either.

In addition to mediocre play, Connor Cook is expected to slip because of character issues. Teams fear his Jimmy Clausen-type self-entitlement, and skipping out on the Senior Bowl isn’t going to help him. However, the Cowboys have shown that they don’t care too much about character concerns, so they could pull the trigger here atop Round 2.

Pick change; previously Carson Wentz, QB

  4. San Diego Chargers: Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn
The Chargers couldn’t get Laremy Tunsil in the first round, so they’ll have to add a blocker at this juncture. Philip Rivers’ pass protection was a mess this past year, and it could be worse going forward with Joseph Barksdale bound to hit free agency. Meanwhile, blind-side protector King Dunlap wasn’t able to stay in the lineup, thanks to numerous injuries. San Diego absolutely has to do something about its horrendous blocking.

Pick change; previously Jason Spriggs, OT

  5. Baltimore Ravens: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson
The Ravens have a notoriously awful secondary that has to be improved. The cornerback position was in shambles all year, so that needs to be bolstered.

Pick change; previously Kenny Lawler, WR

  6. San Francisco 49ers: Germain Ifedi, OT/G, Texas A&M
The 49ers struggled for many reasons in 2015. Poor play at right tackle was one of them. Anthony Davis unexpectedly retired, so that opened up a huge hole across from Joe Staley.

  7. Miami Dolphins: Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson
Cameron Wake tore his Achilles, while Olivier Vernon and Derrick Shelby are impending free agents. Miami may have to use an early-round selection on a defensive end, and Kevin Dodd is peaking at the right time.

Pick change; previously Vadal Alexander, G

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
The Jaguars could add an edge rusher or two, as Chris Clemons has completely fallen off.

  9. New York Giants: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
Whether it was Michael Strahan, or Osi Umenyiora, or Justin Tuck, or a two-handed Jason Pierre-Paul, the Giants always had a terrific pass rush. That’s not the case anymore, as the Giants are in the bottom five in terms of sacks.

Pick change; previously Mackensie Alexander, CB

  10. Chicago Bears: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
It’s difficult to project what the Bears will do right now because of their free agency situation. Zach Miller is a key player who will be hitting the market, so tight end will be a big need if he’s not retained.

Pick change; previously Austin Johnson, DT

  11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
The Buccaneers might have the weakest group of cornerbacks in the NFL. Alterraun Verner has been an abomination this season, while Johnthan Banks has only been marginally better, but only by default. This is an area that absolutely must be addressed this offseason.

  12. Los Angeles Rams: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
The Rams will definitely consider releasing Jared Cook this offseason. Cook has been a bum for them the past three years, so there’s no point in keeping him around. O.J. Howard had a monstrous performance in the national championship, so he could serve as an upgrade.

Pick change; previously Sheldon Day, DT

  13. Oakland Raiders: Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
Oakland is another team whose draft plans appear to be muddled right now. Donald Penn has served as a stout blind-side protector for the Raiders over the past few seasons, but he’s a 33-year-old free agent. He’ll need to be replaced if he’s not brought back.

Pick change; previously Jayron Kearse, S

  14. Los Angeles Rams: Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh
The Rams have to overhaul their entire receiving corps, save for Tavon Austin. Tyler Boyd has some off-the-field concerns, but St. Louis won’t care about those.

  15. Detroit Lions: Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame
An upgrade for the defensive interior is obviously needed, as the Lions failed to replace Ndamukong Suh last offseason.

Pick change; previously Adolphus Washington, DT

  16. New Orleans Saints: Bronson Kaufusi, DE, BYU
The Saints can continue to upgrade their horrible defensive line, as they really don’t have any edge rushers of note after Cameron Jordan. In a division comprised of Cam Newton, Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston, New Orleans will have toimprove its ability to get to the quarterback.

Pick change; previously Shaq Lawson, DE

  17. Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
The Colts need to stop screwing around and fix Andrew Luck’s offensive line, which has been an abomination for far too long. Its performance throughout this season has been an embarrassment. The tackles are fine, but every position on the interior has to be upgraded.

  18. Buffalo Bills: Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
The Bills have a couple of disappointing young linemen in guard John Miller and right tackle Cyrus Kouandjio. Both have struggled mightily thus far.

  19. Atlanta Falcons: Kenny Lawler, WR, California
The Falcons have struggled in the red zone for years now. They need to give Matt Ryan some more weapons. A No. 2 receiver is needed, as Roddy White’s career is basically over.

Pick change; previously Josh Doctson, WR

  20. New York Jets: Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA
Chris Ivory has slowed down following a hot start. He’s an impending free agent in March, so the Jets may have to use a second-day selection on a running back.

  21. Houston Texans: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
Teams expect Christian Hackenberg to be chosen in the latter half of the second round. I’m sure the Texans would take a chance on him, given that Bill O’Brien got the most out of him when he was at Penn State.

  22. Washington Redskins: William Jackson, CB, Houston
The Redskins obviously have to address their secondary. There’s a hole at one of the cornerback positions across from Bashaud Breeland.

  23. Minnesota Vikings: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
Mike Wallace has proven to be a predictable disappointment, so the Vikings could stand to add a receiver across from Stefon Diggs.

Pick change; previously Darian Thompson, S

  24. Cincinnati Bengals: William Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
With Marvin Jones headed into free agency, the Bengals could be searching for a new No. 2 receiver this offseason.

Pick change; previously Darron Lee, OLB

  25. Seattle Seahawks: Shawn Oakman, DE/DT, Baylor
No one should’ve been surprised that Shawn Oakman returned to school for 2015, given that he was widely viewed as a second-day project. In fact, one general manager has him as a fifth- to seventh-rounder. Oakman has loads of potential and athleticism, however, so if he can actually learn how to play football, he could sneak into the first round.

  26. Green Bay Packers: Austin Johnson, DT, Penn State
With B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion both heading into free agency again, the Packers may want to obtain a more permanent solution in the middle of their defensive front.

Pick change; previously William Fuller, WR

  27. Pittsburgh Steelers: Denver Kirkland, G/OT, Arkansas
A couple of things here: First, this is some insurance for Kelvin Beachum, who tore his ACL. On top of being hurt, Beachum is an impending free agent, so it’s unclear if he’ll be back next year. Second, guard Ramon Foster will also be hitting the open market in March.

  28. Kansas City Chiefs: Kentrell Brothers, LB, Missouri
Derrick Johnson’s return to the lineup has been huge for Kansas City’s defense, but the team has a weakness right next to Johnson. Also, it needs to be considered that Johnson just turned 33, so he doesn’t have many dominant years left.

  29. New England Patriots: Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska
Dominique Easley is a great talent, no doubt, but he’s constantly injured, so the Patriots can’t exactly rely on him. Adding another skilled interior lineman to the roster would make sense.

Pick change; previously Bronson Kaufusi, DE

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
The Cardinals have lacked a potent edge rusher for quite a while, so here’s their chance to upgrade the position. Noah Spence would be a first-round prospect if it wasn’t for his off-the-field issues. Arizona could take a chance on him, given how well the Tyrann Mathieu pick worked out.

  31. Denver Broncos: Adolphus Washington, DE/DT, Ohio State
The Broncos have a nice pair of starting defensive ends in Derek Wolfe and Malik Jackson, but both will be free agents after the 2015 season. It’ll be difficult to retain both.

Pick change; previously Nick Martin, C

  32. Carolina Panthers: Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech
The Panthers could use some interior defensive line depth, especially with some contracts expiring soon.
