Jets 21, Texans 13
  • The Jets have found various ways to lose each week, and for a long time, it appeared as though they came up with a new method of futility in this game. It began early when they appeared to score a touchdown, but Malachi Corley dropped the ball before crossing the goal line. This was inexplicable, especially after Kyle Pitts nearly made the same mistake four days prior.

The Texans established a 7-0 lead shortly later, thanks to a beautiful third-and-long conversion from C.J. Stroud to Tank Dell. The Jets didn’t have much going for them, as they continued to make mistakes, including a deep drop by Davante Adams. However, Garrett Wilson made a terrific one-handed catch in the end zone to go up 14-10.

It appeared as though the Texans had a chance to re-take the lead when they were granted a free first down on a personal foul penalty on a field goal deep in Jets territory. Houston couldn’t do anything with the opportunity, as it had to settle for a 27-yard field goal. Ka’imi Fairbairn, one of the best kickers in the NFL, shockingly doinked the ball off the left upright. The Jets turned the next possession into a touchdown with Rodgers hitting Adams for a 37-yard bomb. Adams, who spent some time in concussion protocol, made amends for the prior blunder with his first huge play for the Jets.

  • The Jets finally won for the first time since defeating the Patriots in Week 3. Perhaps all they need to do is play on Thursday night.

  • The Texans are still in good shape at 6-3. C.J. Stroud had a rough game with his top two receivers sidelined, but Nico Collins is due back next week.

  • Titans 20, Patriots 17
  • Drake Maye made a quick return from his first NFL concussion. Despite the heroics, it looked like it was going to be a long day for Maye. He was intercepted twice, including once when he panicked under pressure and heaved a poor throw.

Maye led the team to only three points in the opening half, but was able to lead a drive to take the lead in the third quarter, as the Titans weren’t doing much either. Tennessee had some early success via Tony Pollard runs, but squandered a great scoring opportunity when a Mason Rudolph interception that was tipped on a Tyler Boyd drop, ruined a great drive that ended at the New England 3-yard line. The Titans were up 7-0 at the time, so they could have given themselves a two-score lead.

Though the Patriots scored, they still struggled to move the ball, and when Tennessee scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to go up 17-10, all hope seemed to be lost. This was reinforced when Maye had an anemic overthrow toward DeMario Douglas on a third down late in the game. However, Maye was given another chance, and with no time remaining, he danced around the pocket for what seemed an eternity, shedding multiple tacklers and then finally finding Rhamondre Stevenson in the end zone for the tying touchdown.

The Titans won the coin toss and ran the ball down New England’s throat. A Rudolph fumble on a botched snap ended the drive, but the Titans advance so far into New England territory that they kicked a chip-shot field goal to take the lead. The Patriots’ next drive ended when Maye was picked. The interception secured the victory for Tennessee.

  • It took an extra quarter, but the Titans won their second game of the year. If they could just battle bad AFC East teams, perhaps they’d go undefeated because their other win came against the Tua Tagovailoa-less Dolphins.

  • The Patriots had a perfect result. They were competitive to entertain the fans, Maye did some special things, and they lost to preserve their draft positioning.

  • Chargers 27, Browns 10
  • The final score may say otherwise, but this was a tight affair for a while. The Chargers couldn’t get anything going offensively for a quarter-and-a-half because of Myles Garrett. The dominant defender caused major problems for Justin Herbert throughout the opening half. Garrett sacked Herbert on three occasions in the first 20 minutes alone, as this was a 7-3 game for a while.

The Chargers finally broke the game open on the same series in which Garrett notched his third sack. Following a nice run by J.K. Dobbins, Herbert dropped back to pass on a third-and-6 and found Quentin Johnston for a deep pass, which turned into a 66-yard touchdown. Herbert went back to Johnston on a couple of occasions, including a gain of 21 yards. After hitting Ladd McConkey for 19 yards, Dobbins rushed into the end zone on a 16-yard rush. Suddenly, the Chargers were up 20-3.

Meanwhile, the Browns couldn’t get anything going offensively. Jameis Winston had a great performance last week against a porous Baltimore secondary, but struggled much more against the Chargers. He was fortunate that he had multiple potential interceptions dropped in the opening half. When Winston wasn’t throwing near-picks, he was taking sacks.

Things changed in the second half, but only with Winston’s near-interceptions turning into actual interceptions. Winston was picked thrice following halftime, negating a potential comeback, as the Chargers scored just seven points after intermission.

  • The Chargers have recovered well from their Monday night loss to the Cardinals. They’ve outscored their prior two opponents, 53-18, although those two opponents were the Derek Carr-less Saints and the Browns.

  • The Browns suffered a setback after their “Super Bowl” win over the Ravens. Still, this was for the best, given that the loss will improve the team’s draft positioning.

  • Panthers 23, Saints 22
  • Just when the Saints thought they were getting healthier, disaster struck. New Orleans welcomed back Derek Carr in what appeared to be a very easy win for the team, but that belief changed quickly when Chris Olave took a brutal hit. He was on the field for a while and had to be carted off on a stretcher. The good news is that he had movement in his extremities, but it seems certain that he’s going to be out for a long time.

Despite Olave being out of commission, the Saints had success moving the chains. They picked up 427 net yards of offense, compared to 246 by Carolina. The problem was that the Saints couldn’t convert in the red zone as often as they should have. They were 2-of-4 in the red zone, which normally wouldn’t be terrible against most teams, but should have been much better against a historically bad defense.

The Panthers, conversely, were 3-of-3 in the red zone. They had issues elsewhere, as they generated only 15 first downs compared to New Orleans’ 25. They also had an unfortunate incident where a pass to Xavier Legette was snatched away by a defender. However, the Panthers took the lead late in the afternoon when they converted for the third time in the red zone, as Chuba Hubbard scored his second touchdown. The Panthers sacked on Carr on the next drive, forcing a fourth-down throw. Carr couldn’t go to Olave or Rashid Shaheed, so he had to try Cedrick Wilson. The pass fell incomplete, clinching Carolina’s second victory of the season.

  • What a collapse by the Saints. They were once 2-0 after blowing out the Panthers and Cowboys. They’ve now dropped seven in a row, and Olave likely won’t be available for a while.

  • The Panthers won, which ruined their draft positioning. However, they truly need to learn what they have with Bryce Young, so they can’t be blamed for winning a meaningless game.

  • Falcons 27, Cowboys 21
  • Jerry Jones considered firing Mike McCarthy after last season, but was talked out of it by someone in the organization. Jones almost certainly has to regret listening to this person after watching McCarthy bungle a potential victory.

The Cowboys outgained the Falcons, 378-310, but shot themselves in the foot repeatedly. They failed thrice on fourth down. They turned the ball over on downs on the first occasion. They tried a fake punt on the second attempt, which resulted in an incompletion. The third try was botched because the Cowboys had too many men in the huddle.

Meanwhile, Atlanta’s offense was efficient for most of the afternoon. There was one mishap when Kirk Cousins lost a fumble on a strip-sack while in field goal range while up 7-3, but Cousins brushed off the turnover shortly later when he found Darnell Mooney wide open to expand the lead to 14-3. Cousins would end up throwing three touchdowns despite losing Drake London to a first-half hip injury.

London wasn’t the only injured player in this game. Dak Prescott suffered a hand laceration in the second half, but then was ruled out with a hamstring injury. Cooper Rush threw a garbage-time touchdown in the final seconds to make this contest look a lot closer than it really was.

  • The Falcons could have been flat following their important victory over the Buccaneers, but they showed up and took it to the Cowboys, holding a 27-13 lead until the very end. At 6-3, they’re going to be in cruise control the rest of the way.

  • The Cowboys had another disappointing result. There’s a chance Micah Parsons will be able to return next week. The Cowboys will sorely need him and Prescott against the Eagles.

  • Ravens 41, Broncos 10
  • It seemed as though the Broncos had a chance entering this game. They were nine-point underdogs, but boasted the No. 8 EPA defense. They likely believed that they could slow down Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, but they were only half correct. They did a good job of limiting Henry, who scored a touchdown, but couldn’t find much running room until late in the afternoon when Denver gave up.

Jackson, conversely, misfired just once in the opening half, completing 11-of-12 passes for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He hit so many big plays as a result of Denver defenders missing so many tackles. The most egregious example of this was on Zay Flowers’ touchdown catch just prior to halftime. Four Broncos had a chance to tackle Flowers, but all of them whiffed on the play. Flowers scored on the 53-yard play to give Baltimore a 14-point lead heading into intermission.

Despite Denver’s unexpected defensive incompetence, the team kept pace with the Ravens for a while. However, they shot themselves in the foot too often in Baltimore territory. The Broncos had a turnover on downs on a fourth-down incompletion during the first quarter. Denver also had a Bo Nix scrambling touchdown negated by a Garett Bolles hold, and the team gave Michael Burton far too many carries in the red zone. There was a rare great play where the Broncos scored a touchdown when Courtland Sutton threw a touchdown pass to Nix on a Philly Special play, but the positives were too few and far between.

  • The Ravens could have easily looked past the Broncos with a battle against the Bengals on Thursday. Instead, they showed up and completely stomped all over Denver.

  • The Broncos had some upset wins recently, but they were exposed as a complete fraud in this game. Their offense couldn’t score consistently against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, while their defense had no chance against Jackson.

  • Bengals 41, Raiders 24
  • The Bengals looked like they had a lot wrong with them in a blowout loss to the Eagles and in a couple of close calls against the Giants and Browns, but a matchup against the Raiders was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Joe Burrow was nearly flawless in this game, as the hapless Raider defense had no answer for him. There was one instance where Burrow threw a pick-six on an odd play where the defender jumped a short route targeted to someone in the backfield, but the game was well in hand by then. Burrow fired five touchdowns despite not having Tee Higgins at his disposal, as he peppered Ja’Marr Chase and Mike Gesicki with constant targets.

The Raiders, who actually had a 7-0 lead in this game, eventually found themselves down 31-10. They reached the end zone on the aforementioned pick-six and then retained possession to potentially make this a one-score game, but Desmond Ridder, who replaced the erratic Gardner Minshew, took far too many sacks on the drive, which concluded with a fourth-down incompletion. Burrow responded with a touchdown pass to Gesicki to close the door on any comeback aspirations for the Raiders.

  • The Bengals saved their season with the win. Had they falled to 3-6, they’d be facing another matchup against the Ravens in just four days with the risk of falling to 3-7.

  • The Raiders managed to get a back-door cover against the Chiefs. We bet Kansas City last week, so we got screwed by that. Of course, the Raiders couldn’t get the back door this week when we had five units on them.

  • Redskins 27, Giants 22
  • The 27-22 result may indicate that the Redskins barely hung on to a victory, but that is certainly not the case. The Redskins led by two touchdowns for the majority of the afternoon. Coming off his Hail Mary victory, Daniels hit numerous big plays through the air and on the ground, as his team led 21-7 and 24-10 after halftime and the end of the third quarter, respectively.

The Giants couldn’t get anything going for the majority of the afternoon, but finally had a spark in the fourth quarter. They scored two touchdowns, with the first coming on a Daniel Jones run in which he had a fierce collision with the defender. The second came on a busted coverage when Jones found rookie tight end Theo Johnson for a 35-yard score. On both occasions, the Giants missed their two-point conversion attempts, so they had to go for a touchdown rather than a field goal if they were able to retain possession after kicking off to Washington with about 2:40 remaining.

The Redskins, however, would never give the Giants an opportunity to do either. Daniels hit Olamide Zaccheaus for a 42-yard bomb, and then a face mask set up the Redskins deep in Giants territory. Chris Rodriguez, playing for the injured Brian Robinson, picked up a first down at the shadow of the goal line to preserve the victory.

  • Washington has improved to 7-2. The team has a tough spot next week against the Steelers, especially with the Eagles on the slate just four days later.

  • The Giants showed some signs of life for the first time in a while in the fourth quarter of this game, but it was too little, too late for a team that has regressed in the wake of Andrew Thomas’ injury.

  • Bills 30, Dolphins 27
    By Charlie Campbell – @draftcampbell

  • EDITOR’S NOTE: My condolences if you had Jaylen Waddle in fantasy. He took a 23-yard loss in the final seconds because of a failed Stanford Band-type play. This play gave him negative yardage on the afternoon.

  • Buffalo essentially clinched the AFC East division title with this win over Miami. At 7-2, the Bills have an insurmountable lead on the Dolphins (2-6), Jets (3-6), and Patriots (2-7). This was a must-win game for the Dolphins, but a 61-yard field goal by Tyler Bass with only a few seconds on the clock was a fatal blow to Miami’s hopes of going on a winning streak to make the playoffs.

  • The Bills got on the board first after Brandon Codrington had a 29-yard punt return to set up a short field that resulted in a field goal for Buffalo. Miami had a methodical drive that resulted in a field goal to tie the game 3-3. The Bills had a good drive deep into Dolphins territory, but Jalen Ramsey picked off a dropped pass by Keon Coleman at the Bills 2-yard line. Miami put together a drive of run-game domination, running the ball down the field on Buffalo’s defense. The drive ended with a screen pass to Devon Achane for a touchdown. Late in the first half, the Bills moved down the field and Josh Allen used his legs to convert a third-and-long. Allen had a phenomenal touchdown run, but a very questionable holding call on O’Cyrus Torrence took the score away, and they settled for a field goal to make it 10-6 at halftime.

On the opening drive of the third quarter, Raheem Mostert fumbled the ball away after Miami had crossed midfield. The Bills took advantage with a scoring drive that saw Allen connect with Mack Hollins for a short touchdown toss on fourth-and-goal. The extra point was missed, so Buffalo’s lead was 12-10.

Miami came back when they remembered they had Tyreek Hill on their team. It should have gone for a touchdown, but a poorly located pass caused Hill to stop and wait for a 27-yard completion for a first-and-goal. The opportunity was squandered as the Bills snuffed out some screens, and Miami settled for a field goal to go up 13-12. The lead did not last long as a couple of plays later Ray Davis took a short pass 63 yards for a touchdown, and Keon Coleman caught a two-point conversion to make it 20-13.

Early in the fourth quarter, Miami tied the game as Hill caught another 27-yard pass, and Achane ran the ball in from eight yards out. Allen brought the Bills right back down the field before lofting in a short touchdown pass to backup tight end Quintin Morris. With their season on the brink, Tagovailoa led a drive down the field, including a key conversion to Jaylen Waddle and a check down to Achane for 18. Tagovailoa connected with Waddle for a short scoring strike to tie the game at 27 with 1:38 remaining. Miami’s defense looked poised to force a three-and-out, but a personal foul penalty on Jordan Poyer gifted a first down and yardage. With 10 seconds remaining, Tyler Bass made a 61-yard field goal to give Buffalo the victory.

  • Rams 26, Seahawks 20
    By Charlie Campbell – @draftcampbell

  • EDITOR’S NOTE: The Rams continue to own the Seahawks despite the new Seattle coaching staff. Geno Smith had some rough moments in this game.

  • This was a huge game in the competitive AFC West, and it gives proof of weathering streaks in the long NFL season. Seattle started out 3-0, but now have fallen to 4-5. The Rams were 1-4 at one point, but now are back to .500 after winning their third straight game. Seattle rookie head coach Mike Macdonald made some questionable decisions, and the Seahawks deserved to lose this game as they left a lot of points on the field.

  • After trading some punts, a dropped pass by Jaxon Smith-Njigba was intercepted by the Rams near midfield. However, the Seattle defense forced a punt. It wasn’t until late in the second quarter that some scoring occurred as Matthew Stafford led a field goal drive. Seattle moved into Los Angeles territory before Geno Smith made a great play. He got the Rams to jump on a hard count and then lofted in a 31-yard touchdown to Tyler Lockett on the free play. The extra point was blocked to make it 6-3. That blocked point proved to be massive.

Tariq Woolen intercepted Stafford with just enough time for Seattle to get in one more drive. After the interception, Puka Nacua threw a punch and was ejected from the game. Smith made two more great throws with a 46-yarder to Smith-Njigba, and then they hooked up again for a 26-yard touchdown to go up 13-3 at halftime.

Midway through the third quarter, Stafford made it a three-point game with a short touchdown pass to Demarucs Robinson. A Seahawks penalty took away a long completion to Smith-Njigba, and after a Seattle punt, the Rams drive caught a break when the officials made a bad call on a roughing the passer to give Los Angeles a first-and-goal. Seattle’s defense produced another stand to force a game-tying field goal to make it 13-13 entering the fourth quarter.

The Seahawks moved down the field, but Smith made a terrible decision with a horrible pass into the end zone, and Rams rookie safety Kamren Kinchens easily picked it off. Kinchens returned the interception 103 yards for a touchdown to put the Rams up 20-13. Seattle got back in the game with a blocked punt to start their drive at the Rams 19, but a few plays later, Kinchens intercepted Smith again.

Seattle had another chance in the final two minutes, and Smith came through in the clutch. On fourth-and-5, Smith lofted in a dime to Smith-Njigba along the deep sideline for a 29-yard gain. A few plays later, Smith threw another beauty for a 14-yard touchdown to tie the game at 20 and force overtime.

The Seahawks won the coin toss and promptly moved down the field with a 31-yard completion to Smith-Njigba. However, at fourth-and-1 at the Rams 16, Macdonald decided not to kick the field goal, and Kenneth Walker was stuffed for a loss. The Rams’ Tyler Johnson made a great catch for a 24-yard gain, and a few more completions moved the ball into Seattle territory. Stafford then made a tremendous throw, and Demarcus Robinson made an even better one-handed catch in the end zone from 39 yards out for the walk-off overtime winner.

  • Cardinals 29, Bears 9
  • The Bears entered this game short-handed defensively, and it showed. They had no answer for what the Cardinals were doing on the ground. Arizona kept pounding the ball with their three running backs, and they usually ripped off decent chunks of yardage each time. This was so effective that the announcers joked that the Cardinals were running the same play over and over again. James Conner primarily had a big performance, but Emari Demarcado and Trey Benson also had some key plays, with each scoring a touchdown.

The defensive injuries were just part of the problem for the Bears, who had an equipment issue. Color analyst Charles Davis made a great point by stating that the Bears didn’t have the correct cleats for the conditions, while the Cardinals did. There was a surprise downpour with some hail in this affair. Arizona closed the roof, but this was a very slow process, and the field was ruined in the meantime. The Bears had slippages on some plays as a result.

The Bears struggled as a result on both sides of the ball. Caleb Williams saw tons of pressure in the backfield and could only convert half of his passes. It didn’t help that his receivers dropped several passes, but it’s puzzling as to why Williams didn’t even target Cole Kmet on a single occasion, given how much Arizona has struggled against tight ends this year.

  • The Cardinals completely dominated this game. The only blemish ws a Marvin Harrison Jr. lost fumble near midfield early in the afternoon, but Arizona was obviously able to overcome that to improve to 5-4.

  • The Bears were 4-2 heading out of their bye, but they suddenly find themselves at 4-4. Williams has regressed in recent weeks.

  • Eagles 28, Jaguars 23
  • The Eagles made some amazing plays in this game. There was one play by Saquon Barkley in which he caught a pass, juked a defender, spun away from another, and leapt over a third. Barkley also caught a 20-yard touchdown pass, and later on, DeVonta Smith secured a one-handed touchdown.

Despite the theatrics and a 22-0 lead, the Eagles were in position to lose this game because of some serious mismangement. The Jaguars scored a touchdown plus two in the third quarter, and then Travon Walker returned a Barkley fumble for a touchdown to trim the margin to 22-16. Nick Sirianni had a chance to pad the lead to nine, but inexplicably passed on a 42-yard field goal. The attempted fourth-down pass fell incomplete, but Sirianni was later bailed out by Smith’s one-handed catch that made the score 28-16.

Jacksonville scored again to claw to within five. Sirianni, perhaps overadjusting for his previous blunder, tried a 57-yard field goal in the final minutes that would have kept this to a one-score game. The field goal was missed, giving the Jaguars another chance. Jacksonville moved down the field with a pass interference flag on Avonte Maddox, but Trevor Lawrence was intercepted on a throw into the end zone to D’Ernest Johnson, preserving the victory for the Eagles.

  • Philadelphia is now 6-2 following a slow start to the season, but Sirianni’s questionable coaching decisions could end up hurting the team down the stretch. A.J. Brown also suffered an injury at some point, oddly exiting the field from the sideline after coming out of the tunnel following halftime.

  • Give the Jaguars credit for not giving up despite being down 22-0. They easily could have mailed it in, but they fought hard to nearly give themselves the victory.

  • Lions 24, Packers 14
  • The Lions were playing their first game outdoors this season. Jared Goff has a poor track record of playing in the elements, and there were plenty of elements in this game with a steady rainfall and 14-mph winds. Despite these unfavorable conditions, Goff misfired on just four occasions and moved the chains consistently.

Of course, most of Detroit’s offensive production came on the ground. Both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs picked up chunks of yardage against Green Bay’s soft run defense. Gibbs scored a touchdown to put the game out of reach, while Montgomery was productive as a receiver out of the backfield.

The Packers, meanwhile, struggled to do much offensively the entire afternoon. They had a nice opening drive to kick a field goal, but couldn’t score again until late in the game. Love, operating with an injured groin, saw that issue pop up from time to time. He threw a pick-six when the score was 10-3 because he was under siege and couldn’t move away from pressure. There was also an instance just prior to halftime when Love completed a deep pass, but couldn’t rush to the ball to spike it and stop the clock. With Love laboring through an injury, and Detroit consistently moving the chains, the Packers couldn’t keep up in this important divisional matchup.

  • The Lions have beaten the Vikings and Packers on the road during the past few weeks. They’ve established control of the division after a shaky start to the season.

  • Love hurt his team by playing injured. The courage can be admired, but this is the second time Love hindered his team by playing at less than 100 percent versus a divisional opponent.

  • Vikings 21, Colts 13
  • The Colts and Vikings tried their best to mimic each other to start the game. Indianapolis began with a turnover just outside the red zone on a botched snap. The Vikings matched their turnover, with Sam Darnold throwing an interception late across his body into the end zone. Both teams missed field goals, and both quarterbacks fired interceptions on consecutive drives in the second half.

The difference in this game was the beginning of the third quarter when the Vikings, down 7-0, engineered two touchdown drives coming out of the locker room. The Vikings had no answer for Darnold connecting with his top two receivers, whereas Indianapolis floundered with various penalties to disrupt promising drives.

The Colts still had a chance late in the evening, down 14-10. They moved into Minnesota territory, but another drive stalled due to coaching incompetence. A year ago, Shane Steichen made a huge mistake by keeping Jonathan Taylor on the bench and calling a pass for his backup running back. Steichen once again kept Taylor on the bench on third-and-2 and fourth-and-2. Flacco threw two downfield passes, inexplicably going to Ashton Dulin on fourth down. Once again, tith all the talented receivers and Taylor on the team, Steichen and Flacco went to Dulin. The pass predictably fell incomplete, allowing the Vikings to seal the win on the subsequent drive.

  • The Vikings rebounded from their consecutive losses to beat the Colts. It looked like they would squander the potential win for a while, but they came through in the second half.

  • This was a frustrating loss for Indianapolis because the team could have prevailed if it didn’t constantly shoot itself in the foot. The Vikings stopped making mistakes for the most part in the second half, while the Colts continued to do so.

  • Chiefs 30, Buccaneers 24
  • Patrick Mahomes had an easy matchup in this game, so it wasn’t a surprise to see him begin the night with a bang. He completed 15 of his first 16 passes, though he had some help from DeAndre Hopkins. The new Kansas City receiver didn’t do much in his first game, but saw more action in this contest. He made a huge play to snatch the ball away from a defender on a completion of 35 yards. He caught a touchdown three plays later.

The Chiefs went up 10-7, but they had some struggles to put the game in doubt. Travis Kelce lost a fumble, while Mahomes had some uncharacteristic misfires. Down 14-10, Mahomes finally got his act together with a touchdown pass to Samaje Perine, but he suffered a non-contact injury on the throw. Mahomes had to be helped off the field, and Carson Wentz began to warm up. Suddenly, it looked like the Chiefs’ 7-0 season would be flushed down the toilet.

Remarkably, Mahomes didn’t miss any time. Not only did he jog out of the blue tent and reenter the game; he led a touchdown drive where he fired the go-ahead touchdown pass to Hopkins. The Chiefs stopped the Buccaneers once, but couldn’t do it a second time. Baker Mayfield drove down the field to tie the game at 24.

There was some criticism from color analyst Troy Aikman about the Buccaneers not going for two to win the game in regulation. Sure enough, the Chiefs won the coin toss in overtime and didn’t allow Tampa Bay to possess the ball. Mahomes drove down the field, hitting Hopkins and Kelce for 15-yard gains before Kareem Hunt scored the winning touchdown.

  • Kansas City prevailed to improve to 8-0. There are some rumors that the Chiefs aren’t done acquiring talent, so perhaps they’ll trade for a defender to improve their defense. Marshon Lattimore has been a projected trade target.

  • The Buccaneers gave it their all, but dropped to 4-5. This result will likely lead to a blowout loss next week because the Buccaneers put everything they had into this game.
