  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State
No one should be surprised if the Bengals double up on offensive tackles in the first couple of rounds in the 2018 NFL Draft, based on how the offensive line has performed.

Pick change; previously Mitch Hyatt, OT

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
The 49ers have just one viable receiver in Pierre Garcon. That definitely needs to change if Kirk Cousins is to have success in San Francisco.

Pick change; previously Simmie Cobbs, WR

  3. Cleveland Browns: Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State
I’m giving the Browns this pick as part of the Sam Darnold trade with the Giants.

Cleveland’s defense is terrible, and part of the reason for this is that the interior is generating no pressure. That needs to change.

  4. Los Angeles Chargers: Timon Parris, OT, Stony Brook
Joseph Barksdale won’t be on the roster for much longer if he keeps struggling like he has in the first three weeks of the season.

Pick change; previously Jamarco Jones, OT

  5. Cleveland Browns: Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama
Another thing Cleveland’s defense needs is better safety play next to Jabrill Peppers. The Browns are getting a solid value here in Ronnie Harrison.

Pick change; previously Tyquan Lewis, DE

  6. Cleveland Browns: Tyquan Lewis, DE, Ohio State
Another edge rusher wouldn’t hurt for the Browns, as no one has stepped up besides Nate Orchard. Emmanuel Ogbah and Carl Nassib have been disappointments.

Pick change; previously Martinas Rankin, OT

  7. New York Jets: Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are gone. Jermaine Kearse and Quincy Enunwa are not viable starters. The Jets need help at receiver.

Pick change; previously Parris Campbell, WR

  8. Arizona Cardinals: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
If the Cardinals have learned anything this season, it’s that they need a capable backup behind David Johnson.

Pick change; previously John Kelly, RB

  9. New York Jets: Billy Price, G/C, Ohio State
The Jets can address any position early in the 2018 NFL Draft with it making sense, excluding safety. Something they must do is bolster their poor offensive line to protect Sam Darnold.

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Jordan Thomas, CB, Oklahoma
The 49ers have an awful group of cornerbacks, so that position needs to be addressed with multiple upgrades at some point next offseason.

Pick change; previously Dontavius Russell, DT

  11. Chicago Bears: Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR, Indiana
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Bears double up on receivers, given their glaring lack of talent at the position.

Pick change; previously Deon Cain, WR

  12. Indianapolis Colts: Cameron Smith, LB, USC
The Colts did little to help their very weak inside linebacker group, which struggled to defend tight ends and pass-catching running backs last year. That is still the case.

Pick change; previously Jerome Baker, LB

  13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
The Buccaneers are taking a chance on Doug Martin reverting back to 2015 form. We’ll see if that happens. If not, they’ll be looking for a running back early in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Royce Freeman, RB

  14. Miami Dolphins: Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin
The Dolphins could add another offensive weapon. Addressing tight end makes sense, as I don’t have much hope for Julius Thomas.

  15. Dallas Cowboys: Antonio Callaway, WR, Florida
The Cowboys could use another threat in the receiving corps, and they’ve shown that they’re willing to take chances on troubled players. Antonio Callway has some major off-the-field issues, but some team could give him a shot in the second round.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest
The Panthers could use some young blood on the edge, as Charles Johnson and Julius Peppers are both regressing.

Pick change; previously Timon Parris, OT

  17. Denver Broncos: Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College
The Broncos don’t really need an edge rusher, outside of perhaps depth purposes, but this is more of a value pick. Harold Landry could go toward the end of the first round, but I have him slipping to the middle of the second frame because teams are a bit down on him. Still, he provides tremendous value at this juncture.

Pick change; previously Malik Jefferson, LB

  18. Green Bay Packers: Jerome Baker, LB, Ohio State
If it seems like the Packers have needed help at linebacker for years now, well, that’s because that has been the case. Green Bay must finally address this void.

Pick change; previously Brian Allen, C

  19. Buffalo Bills: Akrum Wadley, RB, Iowa
It’s unclear why the Bills got rid of Jonathan Williams in favor of Mike Tolbert, but they’ll need to find another young running back behind LeSean McCoy.

Pick change; previously Deebo Samuel, WR

  20. Baltimore Ravens: Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama
The Ravens can’t trust Kenneth Dixon anymore, so they’ll need to find an upgrade over Terrance West.

  21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn
Ben Roethlisberger has discussed retirement, so the Steelers need to think about using an early selection on a quarterback.

  22. Detroit Lions: John Kelly, RB, Tennessee
Ameer Abdullah is extremely talented, but he hasn’t been able to stay healthy. If he gets banged up again this year, Detroit could opt to move on with another running back.

Pick change; previously Nick Chubb, RB

  23. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
The Jaguars could use Mark Andrews, as they don’t have anything at tight end in the wake of the Julius Thomas trade.

  24. Buffalo Bills: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn
The Bills traded Ronald Darby to the Eagles this offseason after losing Stephon Gilmore to the Patriots. They’ll need to obtain another cornerback.

Pick change; previously Derrius Guice, RB

  25. Tennessee Titans: Tony Brown, CB, Alabama
The Titans had a serious need at cornerback entering the 2017 NFL Draft. That’s still the case. They selected Adoree Jackson to fill a void, but another cornerback should’ve been added as well.

Pick change; previously Carlton Davis, CB

  26. Cleveland Browns: Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville
The Browns need to continue to attack their poor defense. If the loss to the Colts was any indication, they desperately need an upgrade at cornerback.

Pick change; previously Martinas Rankin, OT

  27. Oakland Raiders: Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State
The Raiders have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, but they have a weakness at right tackle, which Ryan Kerrigan exploited in a Sunday night blowout loss.

Pick change; previously Tony Brown, CB

  28. Minnesota Vikings: Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
The Vikings have an option on Anthony Barr after this season. They may not exercise it if he struggles like he did last year. Barr has been OK so far in 2017, so we’ll see how the rest of the season plays out.

Pick change; previously Duke Ejiofor, DE

  29. Washington Redskins: Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina
Terrelle Pryor has struggled thus far, and he was signed to a 1-year deal anyway. I can’t see the Redskins retaining him if his poor play continues.

Pick change; previously Ronnie Harrison, S

  30. New England Patriots: Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia
Excluding Dont’a Hightower, the Patriots don’t have anything at linebacker. They’ll need to remedy that next offseason.

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
The Chiefs could use a second receiver to play across from Tyreek Hill. It was disappointing to see Courtland Sutton blanked against TCU, but he should still be chosen in the first two rounds.

  32. Atlanta Falcons: Vita Vea, NT, Washington
The Falcons have three defensive linemen set to hit free agency next spring, so this is an area they could attack in the 2018 NFL Draft.
