  1. Baltimore Ravens: Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
    The Ravens struggled to get pressure on the quarterback most of the year. A part of the problem is that Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs will be 33 and 34, respectively, by the 2017 NFL Draft. Some young blood will be needed on the edge.

  2. Tennessee Titans: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
    The more we’ve been hearing teams gush about Corey Davis, the more I’m thinking that he’s one of the top two wide receivers selected in the 2017 NFL Draft. At this point, I think he and Mike Williams are neck and neck.

    The Titans could certainly use a receiver upgrade. Rishard Matthews has enjoyed a nice season, but he’s just a No. 2 wideout. Marcus Mariota needs a top option.



  3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Adoree Jackson, CB/KR, USC
    The Buccaneers spent a first-round pick on a cornerback last spring, so would they do that again? I think it’s possible. Brent Grimes is having a terrific 2016 campaign, but he’s turning 34 in July and will be entering his contract year. At 34, Grimes could really regress, so Tampa Bay may want to be prepared for that, as well as his departure the following spring.

  4. Denver Broncos: Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
    Given how much they struggled to defend Atlanta’s running backs as receiving threats out of the backfield in one of their losses this year, the Broncos should consider an inside linebacker early in the 2017 NFL Draft to properly replace Danny Trevathan. Fortunately for Denver, there are a couple of talented prospects at the position who are expected to be available in this range.

  5. Houston Texans: David Njoku, TE, Miami
    Charlie Campbell has this selection posted in his mock draft, and I liked it a lot, so I chose to copy it. The Texans could use an intermediate threat, and perhaps they’ll fall in love with David Njoku if he declares for the 2017 NFL Draft. Njoku’s talent level is unreal, and there’s a ton of hype surrounding him right now.



  6. Green Bay Packers: Jalen Tabor, CB, Florida
    The Packers have spent some resources at cornerback over recent years, but considering Sam Shields may never play again, perhaps they’ll go back to the position once more. Besides, Jalen Tabor is the top player available. We’ve heard that some teams are a bit down on Tabor, but he seems like a steal at No. 22.

  7. Miami Dolphins: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
    Byron Maxwell has endured an up-and-down campaign in his first season in Miami. Tony Lippett, meanwhile, has been fine at times, but is he really the long-term answer at cornerback? The Dolphins will need an upgrade at the position.

  8. Detroit Lions: Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
    The Lions have never replaced Ndamukong Suh or Nick Fairley, but here’s their chance. Their defense has improved as the season has progressed, but it’s still very weak on the defensive interior.

  9. Atlanta Falcons: Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
    It was a bit odd to see the Falcons eschew their pass rush in the 2016 NFL Draft, especially when Shaq Lawson dropped to them at No. 17. I’m sure that after seeing their defenders struggle to get to the quarterback – save for Vic Beasley, who has improved – they’ll be desperate for someone who can apply pressure on opposing signal-callers in the 2017 NFL Draft.

  10. Pittsburgh Steelers: Dawuane Smoot, DE/OLB, Illinois
    It’s amazing that James Harrison is still playing on such a high level, but the Steelers know that they can’t rely on him to rush the passer for much longer. They’ll have to be prepared, and they could use another first-round pick on an edge rusher to eventually start across from Bud Dupree.

  11. New York Giants: Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
    New York’s defense has been great this year, but the one glaring weakness is the linebacking corps. This area must be addressed soon, especially if the Giants can obtain one of the top draft picks available in the process.

  12. Kansas City Chiefs: Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame
    Andy Reid loves bolstering the trenches on both sides of the ball, and I don’t think he’d be opposed to selecting a guard late in the first round this April. The interior of Kansas City’s offensive line could be better, and Quinton Nelson is one of the better prospects remaining.



  13. Seattle Seahawks: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
    There was one team that was convinced the Seahawks would select Robert Nkemdiche in the 2016 NFL Draft. They did not, but it made a ton of sense, as Seattle could use another pass-rushing presence, both on the edge and the interior.

  14. Oakland Raiders: Christian McCaffrey, RB/WR, Stanford
    Oakland’s coaching staff never seemed content with Latavius Murray, so it could use its first-round pick on Christian McCaffrey, who would allow the team to do some creative things with him. He could effectively serve as the third receiver, which Raider fans would want after seeing Seth Roberts drop so many passes this year.

  15. New England Patriots: Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
    The Patriots cut Dominique Easley, but never replaced him. They’ve struggled to get to the quarterback in part because they don’t have any skilled pass-rushers in the interior. That could change with this pick, as Chris Wormley is the disruptive force Bill Belichick needs to improve his defense.

  16. Dallas Cowboys: John Ross, WR, Washington
    The Cowboys could do better at receiver across from Dez Bryant, and it would be nice for Dak Prescott to have a potent downfield threat for when Bryant is out of the lineup.
