-
Indianapolis Colts: Garth Gerhart, C, Arizona State
The Colts grab a center for some depth.
Gerhart is not the most athletic center. He didn't impress at the Combine or the Senior Bowl, but he does have some developmental potential. Gerhart gives relentless effort. The younger brother of Toby Gerhart, Garth Gerhart found a home at center in 2010 and was an All-Pac-10 honorable mention.
Gerhart played well for Arizona State in 2011 and improved his stock significantly. He was effective when pulling and opened up holes in the ground game. Gerhart also isn't afraid to get physical and fights through the whistle. He is a better run blocker than pass blocker. Gerhart needs to improve his awareness and get his head on swivel in pass protection. He struggled against Boise State and defensive tackle Billy Winn.
-
St. Louis Rams: Danny Coale, WR, Virginia Tech
The Rams grab an underrated receiver in Coale, who they brought in for a pre-draft visit.
Coale (6-0, 201) had an impressive Combine. He ran well in the 40 with a time at 4.50 and looked very good in the field drills. Coale was in a running offense and didn't have elite quarterbacks to work with, yet he still had decent production for the Hokies. Coale caught 60 passes for 904 yards with three touchdowns as a senior this year. He hauled in 39 catches for 732 yards and three touchdowns as a junior.
Coale looks like a potential slot weapon in the NFL. The underrated athlete was the backup punter and averaged 43 yards per punt on 13 kicks. -
Minnesota Vikings: Chase Baker, DT, Boise State
The Vikings get some more defensive line help. Baker has been overshadowed by his teammates, but Minnesota still brought him in before the draft.
-
Cleveland Browns: Joe Cullen, OT, Utah
The Browns take the best player available.
Cullen (6-4, 297) is an underrated prospect. He started 12 games at left tackle in 2011 and was a Second-Team All-Pac-12 selection. He has some quickness and athletic ability. Cullen broke into the lineup as the Utes' starter at left tackle in 2010. Prior to that, he played two years at junior college.
Cullen may be best on the right side as a pro. He should add some weight and power after getting in an NFL strength and conditioning program. -
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: David Gonzales, OT/G, Washington State
The Buccaneers get some offensive line depth from Gonzales. They brought him in for a pre-draft visit. Mark Dominik likes to take players late in the seventh round who could be hard for the team to sign as undrafted free agents because they are from a different region of the country.
-
Washington Redskins: Isaiah Frey, CB, Nevada
Washington goes with one of the best players available and a good value pick in Frey. He has some ball skills, and Bruce Allen has had an inclination to draft defensive backs late.
-
Indianapolis Colts: Will Blackwell, G, LSU
The Colts get another offensive linemen. They need a lot of help upfront. Blackwell (6-3, 314) had a quality week at the Senior Bowl, after he had a good season as a run blocker for LSU in 2011. In the NFL, Blackwell would fit a power man-blocking scheme where he can feature his drive-blocking ability.
-
Miami Dolphins: Jerry Franklin, OLB/MLB, Arkansas
The Dolphins get another linebacker for their 4-3 defense.
The 6-foot-1, 245-pound Franklin was surprisingly not invited to the Combine. He had a productive career for the Razorbacks. Franklin was rather solid season this year, making 110 tackles with 10 tackles for a loss. He did not stand out at the East-West Shrine.
Franklin had 100 tackles and 13 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks as a junior in 2010. He had a quality season as a sophomore when he led the team with 94 tackles as an outside linebacker. Franklin also had three interceptions, with five tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks. He was the starting middle linebacker as a freshman in 2008 and led the team in tackles, making 87 stops. -
Carolina Panthers: Chris Owusu, WR, Stanford
The Panthers go for Owusu to further their depth at receiver. He has a nice skill set but has had problems staying healthy.
-
Buffalo Bills: Olivier Vernon, DE, Miami
The Bills brought Vernon in for a visit. Some believe he will go a lot sooner, but he never really did much at Miami to warrant anything more than a late-round pick. -
Kansas City Chiefs: Drew Nowak, DT, Western Michigan
The Chiefs add more to their defensive line. Nowak went to Kansas City for a visit.
-
Detroit Lions: Devon Wylie, WR, Fresno State
Wylie could be a steal if he can stay healthy. Wylie could rotate in as a slot receiver and contribute as a returner. He went on a visit to the Lions.
-
Chicago Bears: Darius Fleming, OLB, Notre Dame
The Bears grab some more linebacker depth. Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs are getting old. Chicago brought Fleming in for a visit.
-
Arizona Cardinals: Matt Conrath, DE, Virginia
The Cardinals grab a defensive end for depth.
-
Dallas Cowboys: Miles Burris, OLB, San Diego State
Dallas adds another linebacker for depth and special teams. Burris recorded 78 tackles with 19.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks and one pass broken up as a senior. He had a similar stat line in 2011 to his junior year production of 80 tackles with 20 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. Against Michigan, Burris had some struggles with the Wolverines' stronger linemen as they rode him out of a number of plays.
In San Diego State's 3-3-5 defense, Burris (6-3, 235) was a rush linebacker. He would better off adding weight and playing in a 3-4 defense that can use him as a blitzer.
-
Minnesota Vikings: Sean Cattouse, S, California
The Vikings get some more secondary help with Cattouse. The 6-foot-2, 211-pounder had 76 tackles with two interceptions, two passes broken up and a sack this season.
-
Green Bay Packers: Bobby Rainey, RB, Western Kentucky
The Packers get a running back for depth. Rainey ran for 1,695 yards (4.6 average) with 13 touchdowns in 2011. The 5-foot-8, 205-pounder ran for 1,649 yards (4.9 average) and 15 touchdowns in 2010. He has some power and bulk for a smaller back, and has the potential to be a quality backup in the NFL. -
Seattle Seahawks: B.J. Coleman, QB, UT-Chattanooga
The Seahawks get a nice value with Coleman falling in the draft.
Coleman (6-3, 233) really helped himself with an impressive week at the East-West Shrine. He has decent arm strength and the ability to fit the ball into some tight windows. As a senior, Coleman completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,527 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. He missed five games due to injuries.
Coleman had a completion percentage of 56 percent in 2010, connecting for 2,996 yards with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. In his first year as a starter, he threw for 2,348 yards with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Coleman has some developmental talent. -
San Diego Chargers: D.J. Campbell, S, California
The Chargers can use more than one safety out of this draft and brought Campbell in for a pre-draft visit.
-
Tennessee Titans: Ernest Owusu, DE, California
The Titans have put Owusu through a private workout and a visit to Tennessee. He could be a late-round developmental player for the Titans.
-
Jacksonville Jaguars: Chris Greenwood, CB, Albion
Jacksonville gets a special teamer and backup cornerback. The Jaguars brought in Greenwood for a pre-draft visit.
-
Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Bernstein, S, Iowa
The Eagles grab a backup safety.
Pick change; previously Rishard Matthews, WR (ATL) -
Detroit Lions: Bryce Brown, RB, Kansas State
The Lions could use some running back depth. Brown flamed out at Kansas State and Tennessee, so he'd be lucky to get drafted. Detroit still brought him in for a visit.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Hebron Fangupo, DT, BYU
Here, the Steelers get some more depth for their defensive line in Fangupo, who they hosted before the draft.
-
New York Jets: DeVier Posey, WR, Ohio State
The Jets grab a wide out to help their passing attack.
-
Houston Texans: Randy Bullock, K, Texas A&M
The Texans fill their hole at kicker.
Bullock was the AP's All-American First-Team selection at kicker after being one of the most accurate kickers in college football in 2011. He made 29-of-33 field goal attempts. On extra points, Bullock was 55-of-57. He was 16-of-21 in 2010 and was good on all 50 extra point attempts. Bullock made all 51 of his extra point attempts in 2009 and was 12-of-19 on field goal attempts. His career long field goal was from 50 yards entering the 2011 season.
Bullock had a pre-draft visit with the Texans.
Pick change; previously Kelcie McCray, S
-
New Orleans Saints: Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State
New Orleans gets a backup quarterback in Moore. The team brought him to town for a visit before the draft.
-
Green Bay Packers: Chris Anzevino, C, Kent State
The Packers grab another interior linemen to develop. They've brought Anzevino in for a visit. -
Baltimore Ravens: Jack Crawford, DE, Penn State
The Ravens get some defensive line help with Crawford. He had 40 tackles with 7.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks in 2011. In 2010 he had 14 tackles with 4.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks. Crawford started seven games and saw action in three others. A year earlier, he made every start as a sophomore and recorded 5.5 sacks with 14.5 tackles for a loss. The 6-foot-5, 274-pound Crawford has a nice skill set but is an underachiever. -
San Francisco 49ers: Marc Tyler, RB, USC
Jim Harbaugh gets some depth for his backfield.
Stoutly-built, the 5-foot-10, 23-pounder was maybe the most pro-ready offensive skill-position prospect at the East-West Shrine. He had a strong week of practice and displayed the power to run through arm tackles and get yards after contact.
Tyler was plagued with injuries during his senior season and totaled 568 yards and four touchdowns on 122 carries. In the NFL, he could be a power back who also is used in short-yardage situations. Tyler could also fit a zone-blocking scheme as well as a power man-blocking attack. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry for the Trojans in his collegiate career. Tyler didn't perform well at the Combine. -
Kansas City Chiefs: Dan Herron, RB, Ohio State
Here the Chiefs get a sleeper running back who could turn into a nice value pick if motivated. -
New York Giants: Tahir Whitehead, OLB, Temple
The Giants look to get more linebacking help and hosted Whitehead before the draft. -
Pittsburgh Steelers: Keshawn Martin, WR, Michigan State
The Steelers get some more receiving depth by taking Martin who they had in for visit. -
Green Bay Packers: Trevor Coston, S, Maine
The Packers take another safety and have shown interest in Coston. -
New York Jets: Josh Bush, S, Wake Forest
The Jets grab a safety and grab Bush who they brought in to New York.
-
Green Bay Packers: Jermaine Kearse, WR, Washington
The Packers get a receiver for depth. Kearse had decent production at Washington. -
New York Jets: Josue Ortiz, DE, Harvard
The Jets take a defensive end. They brought Ortiz in for a pre-draft visit.
-
Cleveland Browns: Armond Armstead, DT, USC
The Browns could look for more backups along the defensive line and brought Armstead to Cleveland.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: John Hughes, DT, Cincinnati
The Steelers get a linemen with some developmental talent. -
Cleveland Browns: Derek Moye, WR, Penn State
The Browns grab another wide receiver for competition.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Case Keenum, QB, Houston
The Steelers could use a young backup quarterback to develop. They only have journeymen as backups.
-
Atlanta Falcons: Dennis Kelly, OT, Purdue
The Falcons get another offensive linemen. They've shown interest in Kelly. -
San Diego Chargers: D'Anton Lynn, CB, Penn State
The Chargers could use some more cornerback help.
-
Buffalo Bills: Lance Lewis, WR, East Carolina
The Bills grab an underrated wide receiver. Lewis had a big game versus the Gamecocks and burned Stephon Gilmore on a few occasions.
-
St. Louis Rams: Brandon Bolden, RB, Ole Miss
The Rams grab another running back to compete. Bolden is the best available.
-
Indianapolis Colts: Eddie Whitley, S, Virginia Tech
The Colts get a safety to compete in their secondary.
Whitley had a productive junior season with 80 tackles, four tackles for a loss, six passes broken up and two interceptions. At 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, he has versatile size. Whitley had 83 tackles with two interceptions, one forced fumble and four passes broken up this year. He had a disappointing season and did not look strong in run support at times.

And you brought tears to my eyes my baby girl is sweet 16 and I'm all too aware that time is moving much quicker than I would like it to. Wherever those big handsome cowboys are, I hope they wait a while before they sweep our babies off their feet.

Very nice! 100% better than the last Richards Group “My tank is full” carmemciol. Old man Stan Richards owes Chrysler Group LLC a refund on that carmemciol. It was poorly executed and just outright lame.

Looking at this on Sunday makes it very clear that it is a crap shoot. Even experts have really no clue who will even get drafted much less where and to whom.

Are you kidding me? You want the Steelers to reach on a 7th Rd TE in the 4th? Boy, I hope you are wrong, especially with Ladarius Green still on your board. The Ballard pick, however, is solid!

I think Frank Alexander would fit the Giants great, and also why would the giants draft Omar Bolden, when they just drafted Prince Amukumura last yr in rd 1, and just re-signed Terrell Thomas, and still have Corey Webster, and also re-signed Bruce Johnson and Justin Tryon, and signed Antwaun Molden, and just drafted Jayron Hosley in RD 3???lol
The giants need to go either S,TE,Oline,DE, or DT... I would like to see Orson Charles, Ladarious Green, Tom Compton, Bobbie Massie, Antonio Allen, Markelle Martin, Ben Jones, James Brown, Audie Cole, Jaye Howard, or Cam Johnson get to the Giants, or any 2 of them, and i'll throw Phillip Blake into that mix as well...
