Cleveland Browns: Arch Manning , QB, Texas |
|
Cleveland is wasting evaluation snaps on Deshaun Watson. At some point, they have to get answers on if Shedeur Sanders can be the long-term starter. The Browns grab a future starter at quarterback. Until he proves he is the long-term starter, the Browns look poised to take a quarterback next April.
Manning has completed 67 percent of his passes for 500 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. After struggling in the first half, Manning led an epic fourth-quarter comeback for a legendary win against Ohio State.
In 2025, Manning completed 61 percent of his passes for 3,163 yards with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He had 10 rushing touchdowns. Manning flashed his excellent skill set in relief work for Quinn Ewers in 2024. Manning has completed 68 percent of his passes for 939 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also has two rushing touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder has a strong arm and is athletic with running ability for the NFL.

Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Smith , WR, Ohio State |
|
Even if Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell play well, Miami could use an elite playmaker to go with them.
Smith has dominated against Ball State and Texas, totaling 16 receptions for 315 yards and three touchdowns.
In 2025, Smith caught 87 passes for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns. Smith (6-3, 215) took college football by storm as a freshman, and he dominated for the Buckeyes. In his debut season, Smith caught 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. He showed size, speed, athleticism, and natural feel in a tremendous freshman year, helping Ohio State win a National Championship. As I wrote in the preseason scouting report on Smith (link above), Smith reminds me of Julio Jones. Smith has shocking deep speed in a powerful frame with excellent size, outstanding route-running, twitch and explosion to get separation, and huge, strong hands. Smith is a freak athlete and is among the best NFL Draft prospects over the past 20 years.

Tennessee Titans: Dylan Stewart , DE, South Carolina |
|
The Titans could use a young edge rusher across from Keldric Faulk.
In 2025, Stewart had 33 tackles, 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two passes defended. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Stewart was superb for the Gamecocks in 2024. As a freshman, he was an immediate impact player, totaling 6.5 sacks with three forced fumbles, one pass batted, and 23 tackles. Stewart has a lot of potential to develop.

Arizona Cardinals: Dante Moore , QB, Oregon |
|
The Cardinals add their future starter.
Moore has completed 64 percent of his passes for 569 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Moore was a dynamic point-producer for the Ducks in 2025, making plays with his arm and legs. In 2025, Moore completed 73 percent of his passes for 3,280 yards with 28 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Moore (6-2, 215) is a dangerous quarterback who is tough to defend. He has shown impressive arm talent and feel as a passer. Moore throws some beautiful deep balls and shows impressive composure and poise for a young player. Moore has adequate size, and team sources who have stood next to and spoken with Moore and Rams quarterback Ty Simpson say they are close to the same height and weight.

Las Vegas Raiders: Cam Coleman , WR, Auburn |
|
The Raiders foolishly passed on Luther Burden and Denzel Boston over the past two drafts. Las Vegas badly needs more receiving talent for Fernando Mendoza.
Thus far, Coleman has six catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Coleman entered the transfer portal and will play with Texas in 2026. In 2025, Coleman had 56 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns with Auburn. While other freshman receivers got more attention, Coleman (6-3, 197) flashed tremendous ability with size, speed, and athleticism. He caught 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns in his debut. If Auburn can give Coleman more consistent quarterback play, he could explode as a sophomore or junior.

New York Giants: K.J. Duff , WR, Rutgers |
|
I think New York made a big mistake passing on Jordyn Tyson and not giving more receiving weapons to Jaxson Dart. Here’s a playmaker that could form a special tandem with Malik Nabers.
Duff has dominated against UMass (9-196-3) and Boston College (8-137-2). He has 17 receptions for 333 yards with five touchdowns.
Duff has generated a nice buzz early in the process after a breakout 2025 season to go along with special height, weight, and speed. The advance scouts have him listed at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, with a projected 40 time around 4.5 seconds. His speed and size translated to being a chunk-producing receiver in 2025 with an average of 18.1 yards per catch. Duff totaled 60 receptions for 1,084 yards with seven touchdowns. Rutgers fought hard to keep Duff from leaving, and sources say they think Rutgers paid upwards of $3 million to get Duff back in 2026. Duff could be a riser for the 2027 draft.

Atlanta Falcons: Darian Mensah , QB, Miami |
|
Unless Tua Tagovailoa or Michael Penix proves to be the long-term starter, the new Falcons regime could target a quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Mensah has completed 91 percent of his passes for 653 yards with eight touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Mensah (6-3, 205) played well in his season with Duke. He completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,973 yards with 34 touchdowns, six interceptions, and one rushing touchdown. After the season, he transferred to Miami to replace Carson Beck. He has a quality skill set with some arm talent and mobility. In 2024, Mensah had a good season as Tulane's starting quarterback, which led to him getting big-money offers in the transfer portal. Mensah has good accuracy and feel as a passer. He does not have elite athleticism or size, but Mensah is a dangerous passer and a point producer.

Carolina Panthers: Leonard Moore , CB, Notre Dame |
|
The Panthers need more talent on their weak defense. Carolina could target the best defensive player available, and here is a corner upgrade to give them an elite shutdown corner in Moore.
Moore played well against Wisconsin with five solo tackles, a pass break-up, blanket coverage, and a near interception.
Moore dealt with injuries but played really well in 2025. He had 31 tackles with five interceptions and seven passes defended. With Benjamin Morrison hurt, Moore was phenomenal in 2024, helping the Fighting Irish reach the National Championship. He totaled 48 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 11 passes broken up as a freshman. Moore (6-2, 195) has an excellent skill set with size, speed, and athleticism, and is a natural football player.

New York Jets: Charlie Becker , WR, Indiana |
|
The Jets take another mismatch weapon for their new quarterback.
Becker has seven catches for 145 yards and five touchdowns thus far in 2026.
Becker flashed big-play ability with the Hoosiers in 2025 and showed an ability to stretch defenses downfield. In 2025, he had 30 catches for 614 yards with five scores. Becker illustrated some serious speed with his average of 20.5 yards per reception. To go along with speed, Becker has size and length at 6-foot-4, 204 pounds. He is reminiscent of Alec Pierce at Cincinnati.

Chicago Bears: Colin Simmons , OLB/DE, Texas |
|
The Bears could consider adding more defensive front seven talent and more edge rush to go with Montez Sweat.
Simmons had three tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery in 2026.
In 2025, Simmons had 43 tackles, 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two passes broken up. In 2024, Simmons had an excellent debut for Texas and showed serious pass-rush ability with nine sacks. He also had three forced fumbles, 48 tackles, two passes defended, and one interception. Simmons (6-3, 245) has upside and could be even better after gaining experience.

San Francisco 49ers: Trevor Goosby , OT, Texas |
|
The 49ers could use more youth on the offensive line. Here’s a blocker who could start at guard or right tackle and then take over for Trent Williams.
Goosby (6-7, 325) took over as the starting left tackle for Texas in 2025 and had an impressive debut for the Longhorns. Goosby has good size, athleticism, strength, quickness, and upside to get better as he gains experience.

New Orleans Saints: Ashton Hampton , CB, Clemson |
|
The Saints could use a true No. 1 corner for their defense.
To open 2026, on the second play of the blowout loss to LSU, Hampton had a nice interception of Sam Leavitt. He has two tackles thus far.Hampton (6-3, 204) is a big cover corner that is long and physical. In 2025, he totaled 45 tackles with eight passes broken up and an interception. He had 27 tackles with two interceptions and five breakups as a freshman. His speed and ability to run with speed receivers are a point of emphasis for his evaluation as a junior.

Pittsburgh Steelers: LaNorris Sellers , QB, South Carolina |
|
Pittsburgh has Aaron Rodgers for 2026, but needs a long-term starter. They should have a shot at one in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Sellers has completed 63 percent of his passes for 366 yards, three passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and an interception.
Sellers completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,437 yards with 13 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, five rushing touchdowns, and some yardage on the ground. He has been inconsistent, with some flashes of amazing passes and then missing some completions that he must complete for the NFL. In terms of his development as a football player, he probably should go back to college in 2026, but most players don’t think that way.
Sellers (6-3, 242) has a big-time skill set and could be a special quarterback. In 2024, Sellers completed 66 percent of his passes for 2,534 yards with 18 touchdown passes, seven interceptions, and seven rushing touchdowns. Sellers is a true dual-threat quarterback with dangerous running ability and impressive arm talent. With a cannon for an arm, Sellers can push the ball to all levels of the field with ease. His mobility, athleticism, escapability, and creativity to ad-lib his team into a big play are very desirable to pro teams.

New York Jets: Sam Leavitt , QB, LSU |
|
The Jets grab a potential starting quarterback.
As a passer, Leavitt has some talent, but he does need some development. Playing for Lane Kiffin could help his growth and ability to work out of the pocket. Leavitt has a strong arm and can fire some missiles into the intermediate part of the field. Leavitt can launch deep passes accurately, and he has the arm to make any throw. Leavitt could stand to improve his ability to work through progressions, recognize coverage, and operate smoothly and efficiently as a pocket passer. Leavitt’s running ability is special, and his legs bring a dangerous element to his offense. With quick feet and athleticism, Leavitt is outstanding at moving in the pocket to dodge the pass rush and avoid negative plays. He easily slips away from rushers and extends plays by breaking out of the pocket. From there, Leavitt is dangerous to take off down the field as he has a second gear to accelerate. He is a shifty open-field runner with size.
Leavitt has completed 62 percent of his passes for 574 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions. He has run for 135 yards and five touchdowns. While recovering from a Lisfranc injury, Leavitt transferred to LSU for the 2026 season. In 2025, Leavitt completed 61 percent of his passes for 1,628 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions in seven games before going out for the season in late October. In 2024, he completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,885 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also ran for 443 yards and five scores.

Kansas City Chiefs: Trey’Dez Green , TE, LSU |
|
The Chiefs grab a replacement for Travis Kelce.
Green has 10 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown. He had some underwhelming blocks and also helped spring his back for a touchdown run. Green flashed dynamic receiving ability as a sophomore, hauling in 33 passes for 433 yards with seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-6, 238-pound Green has surprising speed and fluid athleticism for a big-bodied tight end. He could be a mismatch weapon in the NFL. As a freshman backing up Mason Taylor, Green caught four touchdowns with 101 yards on 13 catches.

New England Patriots: Ryan Coleman-Williams , WR, Alabama |
|
The Patriots add another weapon for Drake Maye. Any of Cam Coleman, Nick Marsh, Charlie Becker, or Ryan Coleman-Williams would be a great weapon to go across from A.J. Brown.
Coleman-Williams has caught nine passes for 173 yards. In 2025, Coleman-Williams had 49 catches for 689 yards and four scores. He has had some problems with dropped passes in 2025. Coleman-Williams (6-0, 175) was very impressive in his freshman season for the Crimson Tide, catching 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. He could stand to add some weight for the NFL, but he is a dynamic playmaker and capable of changing the game on any play.
