Miami Dolphins: Jeremiah Smith , WR, Ohio State |
|
Even if Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell play well, Miami could use an elite playmaker to go with them. Here’s a potential Hall of Fame talent to give Malik Willis a game-changer.
Smith has dominated against Ball State, Texas, and Kent State. He then destroyed Illinois (12-217-4) in prolific fashion. In 2026, Smith has 33 receptions for 617 yards and seven touchdowns.
In 2025, Smith caught 87 passes for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns. Smith (6-3, 215) took college football by storm as a freshman, and he dominated for the Buckeyes. In his debut season, Smith caught 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns. He showed size, speed, athleticism, and natural feel in a tremendous freshman year, helping Ohio State win a National Championship. As I wrote in the preseason scouting report on Smith (link above), Smith reminds me of Julio Jones. Smith has shocking deep speed in a powerful frame with excellent size, outstanding route-running, twitch and explosion to get separation, and huge, strong hands. Smith is a freak athlete and is among the best NFL Draft prospects over the past 20 years.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Colin Simmons , OLB/DE, Texas |
|
I’m surprised the Glazers and Jason Licht were foolish enough to extend Baker Mayfield. Perhaps Licht didn’t want to do it, and the Glazers forced him to re-sign Mayfield. Ultimately, the Glazers did not learn from the lessons of Russell Wilson (Broncos), Kirk Cousins (Falcons), Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins), and Kyler Murray (Cardinals), among others. The contract might force the Bucs into passing on a young quarterback and sticking with the declining turnover machine that is Mayfield. Tampa Bay could use help all over their roster, including more edge rush talent. YaYa Diaby, Al-Quadin Muhammad, and Rueben Bain have all struggled mightily thus far in 2026.
Simmons has 13 tackles, 7.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in 2026. In 2025, Simmons had 43 tackles, 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two passes broken up. In 2024, Simmons had an excellent debut for Texas and showed serious pass-rush ability with nine sacks. He also had three forced fumbles, 48 tackles, two passes defended, and one interception. Simmons (6-3, 245) has upside and could be even better after gaining experience.

Tennessee Titans: Leonard Moore , CB, Notre Dame |
|
The Titans could use a true No. 1 cornerback.
Moore played well against Wisconsin with five solo tackles, a pass break-up, blanket coverage, and a near interception. In 2026, Moore has eight tackles with four passes broken up. Moore dealt with injuries but played really well in 2025. He had 31 tackles with five interceptions and seven passes defended. With Benjamin Morrison hurt, Moore was phenomenal in 2024, helping the Fighting Irish reach the National Championship. He totaled 48 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 11 passes broken up as a freshman. Moore (6-2, 195) has an excellent skill set with size, speed, and athleticism, and is a natural football player.

Los Angeles Chargers: Cam Coleman , WR, Texas |
|
The Chargers grab a true No. 1 receiver for their offense. Landing a true No. 1 outside receiver would make Ladd McConkey even more effective.
Thus far, Coleman has 12 catches for 208 yards and four touchdowns. Coleman entered the transfer portal and will play with Texas in 2026. In 2025, Coleman had 56 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns with Auburn. While other freshman receivers got more attention, Coleman (6-3, 197) flashed tremendous ability with size, speed, and athleticism. He caught 37 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns in his debut. If Auburn can give Coleman more consistent quarterback play, he could explode as a sophomore or junior.

Houston Texans: Trevor Goosby , OT, Texas |
|
Houston grabs a young tackle to pair with Aireontae Ersery.
Goosby (6-7, 325) took over as the starting left tackle for Texas in 2025 and had an impressive debut for the Longhorns. Goosby has good size, athleticism, strength, quickness, and upside. He has good feet and agility to mirror speed rushers off the edge with the strength to anchor against bull rushes. Goosby is also a quality run defender who can create a push at the point of attack. Goosby looks like a safe pick to be a solid starter in the NFL.

New Orleans Saints: Ellis Robinson IV , CB, Georgia |
|
The Saints could use a true No. 1 corner for their defense.
In 2026, Robinson has nine tackles, four passes defended, and an interception. In 2025, Robinson had a breakout season for the Bulldogs, playing as an effective cover corner. Robinson totaled four interceptions, seven passes broken up, and 20 tackles. Robinson (6-0, 180) could stand to fill out his frame to help him battle pro receivers.

Arizona Cardinals: Arch Manning , QB, Texas |
|
The Cardinals grab their next potential franchise quarterback.
Manning has completed 64 percent of his passes for 862 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. After struggling in the first half, Manning led an epic fourth-quarter comeback for a legendary win against Ohio State.
In 2025, Manning completed 61 percent of his passes for 3,163 yards with 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He had 10 rushing touchdowns. Manning flashed his excellent skill set in relief work for Quinn Ewers in 2024. Manning has completed 68 percent of his passes for 939 yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. He also has two rushing touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder has a strong arm and is athletic with running ability for the NFL.

New York Jets: C.J. Carr , QB, Notre Dame |
|
The Jets take a potential franchise quarterback. I could see Aaron Glenn loving Carr’s intangibles, intelligence, poise, and ability to distribute the ball accurately. Glenn has close ties with some at Notre Dame, and they absolutely love Carr. It will be interesting to see whether Glenn will survive and be the Jets head coach in 2027, but I could see him loving Carr as his franchise guy in New York.
In 2026, Carr has completed 71 percent of his passes for 1,197 yards with 13 touchdowns and one interception. He has three rushing touchdowns. Carr (6-3, 205) developed nicely in his first season as a starter, and by the end of the year, he was showing NFL starting ability. Carr completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,741 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. He was accurate, managed the game well, possesses developed field vision, and is a dangerous pocket passer with functional mobility. Carr is also known to have great leadership, character, and loves football. He also has great poise, composure, and an ability to handle high-stress environments. Having gone through a horrible family tragedy, Carr is able to keep perspective.

Washington Commanders: Charlie Becker , WR, Indiana |
|
Washington badly needs more playmakers for Jayden Daniels.
Becker has 27 catches for 477 yards and eight touchdowns thus far in 2026. Becker flashed big-play ability with the Hoosiers in 2025 and showed an ability to stretch defenses downfield. In 2025, he had 30 catches for 614 yards with five scores. Becker illustrated some serious speed with his average of 20.5 yards per reception. To go along with speed, Becker has size and length at 6-foot-4, 204 pounds. He is reminiscent of Alec Pierce at Cincinnati.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Dante Moore , QB, Oregon |
|
Pittsburgh grabs a potential franchise quarterback.
Moore has completed 70 percent of his passes for 926 yards with nine touchdowns.
Moore was a dynamic point-producer for the Ducks in 2025, making plays with his arm and legs. In 2025, Moore completed 73 percent of his passes for 3,280 yards with 28 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Moore (6-2, 215) is a dangerous quarterback who is tough to defend. He has shown impressive arm talent and feel as a passer. Moore throws some beautiful deep balls and shows impressive composure and poise for a young player. Moore has adequate size, and team sources who have stood next to and spoken with Moore and Rams quarterback Ty Simpson say they are close to the same height and weight.

New York Jets: Jelani McDonald , S, Texas |
|
New York adds a difference maker for the back end.
McDonald has 26 tackles with one pass broken up thus far. McDonald had a strong 2025 season for the Longhorns, showing an ability to make plays as a run defender and in pass coverage. He totaled 80 tackles with three interceptions and three passes defended. McDonald (6-2, 195) has good size and is fast.

Dallas Cowboys: Xavier Gilliam, DT, Tennessee |
|
Kenny Clark is nearing the end of his contract and Dallas has tough contract decisions to make regarding George Pickens and Joey Porter Jr. It would make sense to pay one of them over re-signing an aging Clark. Here’s a long-term tackle to go with Quinnen Williams.
Gilliam has been a beast for Tennessee in 2026 with dominant performances against Texas and Georgia Tech. Thus far, he has 17 tackles with four sacks and one forced fumble. In 2025 he had 16 tackles with .5 sacks and a forced fumble while playing with Penn State. Gilliam (6-2, 305) is fast, athletic, and strong. He could be a riser through the process.

|
Philadelphia Eagles: Trey’Dez Green , TE, LSU |
|
The Eagles could use an understudy for Dallas Goedert, and Green would be a dynamic mismatch weapon to help their weak passing offense.
Green has 14 receptions for 222 yards and a touchdown. He had some underwhelming blocks and also helped spring his back for a touchdown run. Green flashed dynamic receiving ability as a sophomore, hauling in 33 passes for 433 yards with seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-6, 238-pound Green has surprising speed and fluid athleticism for a big-bodied tight end. He could be a mismatch weapon in the NFL. As a freshman backing up Mason Taylor, Green caught four touchdowns with 101 yards on 13 catches.

Atlanta Falcons: Ryan Coleman-Williams , WR, Alabama |
|
The Falcons could use more receiver talent across from Drake London.
In 2026, Coleman-Williams has caught 20 passes for 376 yards and four touchdowns. He has also looked good as a punt returner. In 2025, Coleman-Williams had 49 catches for 689 yards and four scores. He has had some problems with dropped passes in 2025. Coleman-Williams (6-0, 175) was very impressive in his freshman season for the Crimson Tide, catching 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. He could stand to add some weight for the NFL, but he is a dynamic playmaker and capable of changing the game on any play.

Denver Broncos: Ahmad Moten Sr., DT, Miami |
|
The Broncos add some defensive line talent.
In 2026, Moten has four tackles and one sack. Moten was a key contributor and an interior pass rusher on the tough Hurricanes defense that carried them to the National Championship. In 2025, Moten totaled 4.5 sacks with 31 tackles. Moten (6-3, 325) has a good skill set with upside to develop.

New York Jets: Will Echoles , DT, Ole Miss |
|
The Jets grab a replacement for Quinnen Williams.
To open 2026, Echoles has 12 tackles, one pass batted, and a sack. Echoles was a disruptive force for the Rebels in 2025 and made a lot of big plays for them at the point of attack. The 6-foot-3, 310-pounder showed run defense and pass rush ability as he totaled 68 tackles with five sacks and five passes batted. Echoles has quickness, athleticism, and strength. Sources say that Echoles has great character. They say he loves football, is a team leader, hard worker, and is not motivated by money.
