2027 NFL Mock Draft – Round 1 (17-32) – Charlie Campbell

Washington needs more playmakers for Jayden Daniels.

Marsh was highly targeted in the transfer portal, and Indiana won the bidding war to add him to their 2026 roster. In 2025, Marsh had 59 receptions for 662 yards with six touchdowns at Michigan State. The 6-foot-3, 203-pound Marsh is very talented and has a ton of upside. In 2024, he caught 41 passes for 649 yards and three touchdowns. He could take off in 2025 or 2026.

The Jaguars could use more receiving weapons for Liam Coen’s offense.

In 2025, Coleman-Williams had 49 catches for 689 yards and four scores. He has had some problems with dropped passes in 2025. Coleman-Williams (6-0, 175) was very impressive in his freshman season for the Crimson Tide, catching 48 passes for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. He could stand to add some weight for the NFL, but he is a dynamic playmaker and capable of changing the game on any play.

The Cowboys add a No.1 cornerback to continue their defensive overhaul.

South Carolina has had a number of good cornerbacks come through the program in recent years, and Swain will keep that tradition alive in 2027. In 2025, Swain totaled 28 tackles with one sack, two interceptions, and five passes broken up. Swain (6-1, 190) has a good skill set with size, speed, and athleticism.

With Ryan Kelly retiring, Minnesota could use a long-term center.

Pieper (6-5, 314) started at right guard in 2025 and formed an excellent interior offensive line with veteran center Logan Jones. With Jones in the NFL, Pieper is being projected to move to center by NFL teams’ advance scouts. Pieper has good size, strength, and athleticism. He could be a candidate to start at guard or center as a pro.

The Bucs have contract decisions looming for Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey. Re-signing both could be very expensive. Thus, they could consider adding more youth on the interior of the defensive line.

Moten was a key contributor and an interior pass rusher on the tough Hurricanes defense that carried them to the National Championship. In 2025, Moten totaled 4.5 sacks with 31 tackles. Moten (6-3, 325) has a good skill set with upside to develop.

The Broncos could use more young talent at linebacker.

In 2025, Brown had 106 tackles with five sacks, one forced fumble, an interception, and five passes broken up. Brown impressed in 2024 with 80 tackles, five sacks, and three passes broken up. The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder has good instincts.

New York grabs a long-term safety and difference-maker for the back end.

Johnson (6-1, 197) had a breakout season in 2025 for the Fighting Irish. Johnson was a playmaker showing dynamic ball skills and instincts. He totaled 48 tackles with four interceptions and three passes defended. Johnson was just scratching the surface, and he could become a dynamic safety prospect. Sources say Johnson has worked really hard and is a good character presence for his team.

The Seahawks could consider adding more interior defensive line talent next to Byron Murphy.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Stone flashed some next-level ability in 2025. He was a disruptive run defender with 43 tackles on the season. Stone had 1.5 sacks as a sophomore. Improving as a pass rusher would help him to rise.

David Montgomery is aging, and Baugh could be an elite runner for Houston.

In 2025, Baugh averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 1,170 yards with eight touchdowns. He has 33 receptions for 210 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot, 228-pound Baugh flashed serious running ability for the Gators in 2024 as a freshman. While other backs got more carries, Baugh showed a dangerous burst and power to get yards after contact. Baugh averaged 5.1 yards per carry for 673 yards and seven touchdowns. He had four catches for 33 yards and a score. Baugh could explode if the Gators make him their feature back.

The Ravens could use a young mismatch tight end.

Green flashed dynamic receiving ability as a sophomore, hauling in 33 passes for 433 yards with seven touchdowns. The 6-foot-6, 238-pound Green has surprising speed and fluid athleticism for a big-bodied tight end. He could be a mismatch weapon in the NFL. As a freshman backing up Mason Taylor, Green caught four touchdowns with 101 yards on 13 catches.

With Terrion Arnold turning into a bust, the Lions badly need more cornerback talent.

In 2025, Robinson had a breakout season for the Bulldogs, playing as an effective cover corner. Robinson totaled four interceptions, seven passes broken up, and 20 tackles. Robinson (6-0, 180) could stand to fill out his frame to help him battle pro receivers.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson is a locker room cancer and is not a long-term starter. He is a difference-maker and a high-character individual.

In 2025, Bolden had 76 tackles with two interceptions and five passes broken up. In a talented secondary, Bolden (6-0, 185) was able to earn playing time as a freshman and had an excellent debut next to Malaki Starks. Bolden totaled 59 tackles with one interception, one pass broken up, one sack, and one forced fumble. After gaining some experience, Bolden could be even better. He could stand to add some weight to his frame for tackling in the NFL.

The Eagles could use more edge rush youth.

In 2025, Heldt had 47 tackles with 7.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Heldt has played well for Clemson, showing speed and athleticism off the edge. Heldt played well for Purdue in 2024, recording 56 tackles with five sacks. The 6-foot-6, 260-pounder has good size, a surprising burst, and plays really hard. Heldt has upside, and he could be a nice value pick in the first or second round.

The Bengals grab a replacement for Orlando Brown.

Lauck (6-5, 314) started at left tackle for the Hawkeyes in 2025 and had an excellent season. He was a tough run blocker and reliable in pass protection. The NFL advance scouts gave him a good grade heading into the 2026 season. It was Lauck’s first-year as a starter, so he could be even better in 2026 after getting a year of experience.

The Chargers could use some interior defensive line youth next to Akheem Mesidor.

In 2025, Washington had 31 tackles with 1.5 sacks and seven passes broken up. Washington (6-3, 330) is known to have an excellent skill set and upside. He is very strong, physical, and has surprising speed and athleticism for a heavy defensive tackle. Last year, Washington was a rotational backup behind Derrick Harmon. In 2024, Washington totaled 10 tackles and two passes broken up.

The Browns grab more offensive line youth to protect their next quarterback.

The 6-foot-5, 307-pounder has a good skill set with size, quickness, strength, and athleticism. He was impressive as the starting left tackle at Colorado for two seasons. It will be interesting to see how Seaton handles better competition in 2026.
