In the passing-driven NFL, teams are always looking for playmakers, and Coleman-Williams has flashed some special ability. Coleman-Williams is a dangerous threat downfield with speed, instincts, and a natural ability to create separation from defensive backs. As a 17-year-old, Coleman-Williams took college football by storm, so there is no doubt that the potential is there for him to have a good pro career.

Coleman-Williams makes some special plays and has a unique ability to hurt a defense. With explosive speed, Coleman-Williams is fast to work through the secondary, using his speed and suddenness out of his breaks to create separation from cornerbacks. After the catch, Coleman-Williams makes some insane runs to dodge tacklers, wiggle free, juke them in the open field, and then run away from the defense. Coleman-Williams has a second gear when he breaks free and is a threat to score on any reception. Coleman-Williams is a fast, vertical deep threat that can line up in the slot or outside. He has excellent feel as a route-runner with body adjust and twitchy athleticism.

While Coleman-Williams has tremendous yards-after-the-catch ability for the NFL, making the catch is an issue. He struggled with dropped passes in 2025, and that needs to be fixed for him to be a first-round pick. Coleman-Williams is also undersized for the NFL and has a thin lower body. If he can gain some weight while not losing his speed and twitchy athleticism, that would be good for helping his durability. Coleman-Williams is a very young player, so those issues could be improved upon over time.
