I am a Bucs fan but have no idea who will win this game.What keeps worrying my pea-brain is the thought of Forte coming out of the backfield and catching about 24 passes against Black or Hayes.Plus, the Bucs' secondary doesn't tackle real well, although a full game by Jackson will help.I am hopeful McCoy will be good to go, and TE Luke Stocker should be back.

If there isn't a monsoon this weekend in Carolina then I'm taking Washington. Losing teams (Carolina is 1-5) find ways to lose ballgames. Shanahan is a good coach and I'm glad he benched Grossman. Deservedly so. I think we see a good Washington defense keep the 'Skins in this one and Shanahan will commit to establishing a run game with Torain. He always established the run game with Broncos. It's his style of coaching. Beck will be asked to manage the game and not lose it more than anything. Just please, no more Grossman.

After the lockout there sure are an awful lot of pathetic teams this year. Due to lack of practice and new rules (padded practice only once a week). Take a glance at this weeks schedule as a whole..... there is virtually no interesting games. Blah blah blah ho-hum. Not even a matchup of the week to look forward to this week. LAME LAME LAME YAWN. Out of 32 teams theres only 3-5 good teams and with the byes kicking in none of them are playing each other. I'm becoming disinterested.

I like this pick Walt. I feel like the Panther's DBs are pretty C to C-, but John Beck might make them look a lot better. I love their duel Tight Ends, Shockey and Olsen, I love their Running Game, and you are right, the health of Otah, which I think will be bad all year, because that's the way back injuries are, especially considering Otah's occupation, so if he plays will depend on an intangible that I don't know, how good are their Trainers. As someone who has a horrible back, I can tell you the right type of deep tissue massage and chiro care, a day or two before the game, the ice and heat management and how he takes care of his back all week will go a long way. Byron Bell had two penalties and a sack this last week. I think Orakpo will line up over him and cause some problems, but the right game plan, a ground and pound to set up the pass should mitigate.

I consider Beck a rookie, Cam's ahead of schedule, these guys will have ups and downs, so these games always have a bit of unpredictability about them. The Skins injuries and Beck, that they're at home make me like Carolina.

If there is no psychological advantage (means both teams are equal emotionally)and you thought Carol was the better team BEFORE Washington's OL injuries, why wouldn't you bet on Carol?

I took the Redskins +3-101 as soon as the line was posted. 10 minutes later it moved to +3-110. All day yesterday, the line kept moving where you had to pay more vig to take the Redskins until eventually it moved to +2.5.

Almost 3 quarters of the bets that came in were on the Panthers, so it seems like the sharps are on the Skins.

With both teams in bad spots I like the team with the better coach & better defensive line to win. It looks like people are starting to figure Cam Newton out. He's thrown 5 picks in the last 3 games.

I think John Beck does the typical new QB effective for 2 weeks before defenses figure him out thing.

Carolina QB is remarkable and has had a great start, but he is a ROOKIE. "You are what your record says you are".
Let last week go, like Mariano Rivera, have a "Closer's Mentality".
You're Right it is a close game, bet the team with the better Defense. Washington.
