Whoever thought this game was gonna be close or had Seattle winning really aren't watching football...at all.

Tough one to call. Seattle weird team to figure out, and potentially dangerous at home. Cincy the better team, but it's gonna be a close one Cincy 24, Seattle 21.

Jackson's performances against the Falcons and the Giants weren't flukes. Seattle's OL is playing better every week. Seattle has a fairly stout D as well...don't expect the Bengal offense to have much success in the noise of the Clink.

Sure the bengals will win and cover spread. I can't believe this is even a question...have you seen Seattle play? Bengals D will be all over Whitehurst or Jackson.

If this game were being played in The Jungle at a normal time then I'd give up two or three field goals and take the Bengals. Unfortunately we really seem to suck when we play on the West Coast. Surely the Red Rifle will have a much better day than Whitehurst or Jackson and help reverse this trend. I still remember the Rose Bowl. Frankly, we need these next two games because then the schedule gets tough. Wouldn't it be great. New England beats the Squeelers, Bengals win and all of a sudden we're sitting atop the AFC North.....

A couple corrections for your write-up. First, the Seahawk secondary isn't terrible. They have the best young safety combination in the NFL. The CBs have been challenged...which gets to your second error. Thurmond broke his leg and is also out for the season. Seattle has the making of a really good corner in Brandon Browner, and a big question mark at the other spot.

John L, I think your assessment of this game is solid. I am a long-time Bengals fan and am very glad to see them play as if they actually want to win. Such a refreshing change from last season.

Bengals fan John L here and here is my prediction for the game:
There are a lot of positives and negatives to look at in this game and after coming off the bye week they will be rested, but could have done with Rey Maualuga being fit as he is the heart of the defence. They are still good without him, but his absence makes them more suceptable to the run and allowing the Seahawks getting into points scoring situations.
I actually think Cedric Benson being suspended for the game will work in their favour as the backups will want to impress and the O-line will take responsibility to show they can take care of business.
The Seahawks being underdogs at home will give them a chip on their shoulders and will be supported by their "12th man".
I'm not convinced that will rattle Andy Dalton as he has looked solid throughout the first 6 games.
I do slightly favour the Bengals in this matchup, but at -3, I'm going to pass on this one. If the line returns to -2, I would have a 1 unit play, but that's all.
I don't see it being a high scoring affair, so the point spread will always be close.
