They were never losing. Therefore saying they only won because of late td's is completely bogus as we have no idea how the team would have held up. we know the cowboys choked.

Are you serious, how can you pick the 49ers who only beat the Seahawks because of two very late special teams plays? The Cowboys had the JETS against the ropes for 50 minutes, they won't let it even get close against the 49ers

The cowboys have big oline problems and an injury riddled secondary played a solid offensive game... until the end, WHEN THEY COMPLETELY CHOKED IN EVERY PHASE OF THE GAME! On the other hand, 49ers could not run the ball effectively, but had a double digit victory and the game was only close for a short period of time before Ginn made san fran history.
Their oppenents were on opposite sides of the spectrum though, so it is kinda tough to get a clear idea of how good either team is going to be by January. I am rooting for the niners and think they win 24-17. Niners defense comes through again and we run the ball more effectively this week.

Coaching and play calling have to be Dallas' biggest problems. Nobody ever buys Romo's play action since they never set up a rhythm with Felix. Threaten the secondary early and the dump to that Johnson kid will work all day, he has good hands and the Jets couldn't get him down.
Holmgren could win a superbowl with this exact team, Al Davis wins maybe 6 games with the same personnel.
25 touches for FJ and the Boys win by 7.

Rogers is not a downgrade from Clements. Goldson = Sensabaugh except he is not starting. Alex is very average but we shall see if he can improve with a real coach.

Rogers is a huge downgrade compared to Clements. Whitner gave up 10 tds last year--most of any safety. Goldson--nobody wanted so he came back. Who is the other CB? I'll take DC's secondary w/out Newman and Scandrick. Alex Smith = Quincy Carter.........very average and mistake prone. Dallas-31 SF-10

Seattle offense was horrendous. Their defense is pretty good and better than Dallas in the secondary. As usual, Dallas fans enamored with a mediocre team.

Romo looked sharp for 3.5 quarters. He also threw the ball well against a very good defense (jets) and arguably one of the best cb's in the NFL with another top 10cb in Cromartie. Compare the defense of the jets to Sf, not even close.

What??? SF wins with ease? turn off the playstation. Smith will see more clouds (on his back) than his WR's! Ware--3 sacks.....rest of team--3 to 4. Add in 3 INT's!

WCR. (Wild Card Romo.) If he can hold down his mismanagement of plays, Dallas wins easily. But historically that's a big IF.
