I was pretty much right on the money on this one. Pack by 6 not 7 and no Hockules but did you see that bogus call for roughing the passer on Matthews?

I'd love to kick Packers head coach right in the nads. Who goes conservative on the eight yard line of the opposition with a first down????????? Then follows his joke field goal on same possession with going conservative for the ENTIRE 4th quarter, under a two touch down lead???????? Used to play soccer..... that jackass needs a kick from me, right where he breathes!!! Not that I'm upset or anything. LOL. Now that my first game in my par is history, just watch tonight...... I need to chime in here. This is Walts pick of the week and he's laying 4 units. It's also the most heavily bet game of the week and also the most lopsided. With that being said I think the right play is to fade Walt. I think Hockules makes his debut and we get phantom calls all day keeping it close until the end. Pack by 7
Then on Tuesdy when we see the baby picture we'll have cashed tickets!(except Walt)

What's to say?? Totally agree with previous three posts. Rogers stays healthy and Defensive front wants to "play," only one outcome: Big Pack victory. Green Bay 33, Vikings 14.

This spread is a joke. Should be -10 or -11 minimum. Easy money.

Big mistake putting Ponder in against Dom Capers. He's in for a rough day.

Agreed, Packers, this spread seems low, right now it's Pack -8, I would get in early, because it opened at -7. Either this whole week is some giant trap and the NFL is fixed, or I will have a nice week.

Angles, Trends, the score of the game will depend on the current players, coaches, health, and what some other team did two years ago with different players doesn't persuade me. That's just me. In the end it's quantitative analysis, adjusted for the spread, I measure the "quantity" by the squad depth and organization based on the current season. Stats lie, some of the weird picks, and aberrations just get folded into the numbers, and that's where the art comes in.

So normally this kind of angle scares me. Undefeated team playing a divisional road game coming off a big win while the host is coming off a big loss and likely to rebound. HOWEVER... as the Packers showed against the Falcons they can totally screw the pooch, go down 14 early, and still come back to win. There would still be some fear if the Packers were, say 12-0 or 13-0, but they're only one game up in the division and with the Niners looming need to keep rolling to secure home field. Although Rogers' comments about the 21-point win last week being a "minor disappointment" hint at complacency, it's far less of a concern than Ponder's inevitable growing pains.
