the eagles are really a shaky team. Can't stop the run, can't block, seem to only score on bombs and big plays. The niners have a really physical front 7 which should chase Vick around and beat him up just like all of the other games. i think SF covers this #. The spread is really inflated as Philly spreads have been since that Mon night game last year when they lit up the redskins last year.

FYI: Harbaugh and company did not travel back to SF after Bengals game. Team stayed in Youngstown, OH the whole week. Jet-lag will not be a problem. Of course, Alex Smith will be a problem, but so will QBDK when he is knocked out of game in first-half by Patrick Willis.

Upset in making. Not only do Niners cover, they win. Offensive line gives enough protection for Smith to play good enough not to lose like last week against Bengals.

There is no doubt that the 49ers offense is dreadful, but if you're counting on turnovers from Alex Smith, look elsewhere. The offense seems centered on having Alex attempt easy passes and Harbaugh refuses to put the game in his hands.

If the Eagles are going to blow the 49ers out, they'll have to do so by having Desean Jackson abuse the safeties in coverage. The 49ers will always bite on the play-action, so as long as the QB can get the ball to Desean they'll score their points.
