He has to be the strangest coach in football to have such an incredible game-breaker at his disposal and then not use him at all.

As far as the run D goes I do believe Tampa abandoned it way too early.....It seems like they overthought it and decided they were gonna do the unexpected and pass to setup the run.....This game wasn't indicative of how it will be every week dmfor the Lions run D but I'll tell you that Stephen Tulloch and DeAndre Levy are 2 VERY good LBs.......the front 4 was a strength last year, this year with the LB additions that has upgraded to front 7 being a strength

How is Todd Haley a head coach in this league? A lot of people look at Cassell to blame, but it starts with coach Haley. If the chiefs can't keep close to the lions this week, their season will be out of control within 2 weeks. The buck stops with the coach and it is unforgivable that Jamal Charles has been given such a low percentage of touches for a player of his calibre. The only way the Chiefs have any chance in this game is if Tamba Hali runs riot, ( which he could). Bowe will also need to step up to the mark and Cassell too.
The Lions have the weapons and the talent to blow away the Chiefs, but their weakness in the Cheifs strength, the running game. With good play calling this could be a close game. Even if the Lions are 2 scores up, the Chiefs have the ability to score in garbage time. I wouldn't bet on this contest until I have seen the killer instinct being proved from Detroit, so this is a big spread for the trendy Lions.
