what are you talking about tell me the games i was wrong on the bears i lost straight up plus 13, but had them in a dip with miami and detroit- back up what you say i know you had the chargers, cause you bet against me, i was all over the lions- so im glad u think your having a good year idiot

Dude you are 0 for in the late games no wins and you like ch icago plus 13 you are nuts. Odds for a reasonalbe person would sat that he is due for a win,,but you boy smells like you slept with that great football mind Matt Millen guaranteed to screw up any franchise with the worse draft picks ever. Start picking against yourself I have and am haning a good year..

@Bearfan: good post about straight wagers over teasers, you know what,you are absolutely correct. Without going into to much detail.... (this aint Oprah,) the teasers fit into my money management rules of handicapping. Just a few: all my straight plays go into 3 team pars with a hedge play on the latter third game. Any line over -10 that I want to play, goes into a teaser. In my teasers I'm looking for the vast majority of the time to get "heavy favorites" under -7 and best scenario home favorites teased to +3 or some times better. Personally I have found that I'm NOT good enough to go head to head against the line and have a 61 or 62 yearly winning percentage. My teasers on the other hand, specifically two teamers and three team 10 pointers, have done quite nicely over time. But you sir are correct, 4 team and 5 team teasers, in the LONG RUN are a losing proposition. Oddly enough, this year I'm 5 and 2 in 5 team teasers so far. Good luck to you sir going forward.

Chris : I may be a Bear fan but I'm not an idiot. I like to root for the Bears, I don't automatically wager on them. When betting the NFL, the key to success is wagering on the team that has the most value in the line. It is easier to determine the 'line value' if you don't have preconceived favorites that you want to blindly follow.
And Chuckster I'm not certain where you're getting your teasers from or even what sort of payout you can get on a 13 or 14 pt. teaser but I would assume that you would have a better opportunity to make money if you just focused on pointspread winners instead of teasers. I would suggest 'crunching some numbers'over the last few seasons to determine if the payouts justify the wagers. I mean you could be right but something tells me that bookmakers aren't in business to lose money. If they are booking a proposition [ teasers ] that is a ' loser' to them, they will quit dealing them or adjust the odds payout until they have the mathematical advantage.

@Bearfan: About the teaser, I have access to 6, 6.5, 7, 10, 13, and 14 point teasers. I will get Packers under -3 or better, depends on what i decide to do. Packers undefeated at home and got embarrassed big time last week. I believe a Packers blowout is possible, but I'll play them just for the outright win. Good luck to you going forward.

Im sorry but why would you come in here as a Bearsfan and say your gunna lose? Personally I would never ever say the Chargers were gunna lose even if our starting QB got hurt. And I hope I just didn't jinx anything. (Rivers stay healty lol.

CHI 13 I just don't think the Packers are going to use all there energy in this game. As seen vs the Chiefs a week ago.

This is a tough game to predict. Walter put up some valid reasons to be wary of Green Bay. One thing about the Bears that wasn't mentioned was the Sam Hurd arrest. Most of the team [ players & coaches ] seemed stunned by the revelation. That had to be a major distraction for a team that still had a legitimate shot at the playoffs before Hanie melted down again against Seattle . It appears that McCown will start [ forget Cutler ]and no one knows what to expect. Caleb Hanie was absolutely brutal. The Bears defense was playing very well [ anyone that doesn't think they are a top 5 defense in the NFL isn't very astute.] I could see this game being a 41-7 Pack win because the Bears mail it in or I could see the Bears pulling off an outright upset. I don't think these are the type of games that you want to 'tease'. You are better off teasing a team that is around a 7 point favorite down to a pick.Quite frankly there are other more interesting games to wager on.

Packers suddenly hurting at offensive line positions. Bears pick a real bad time to visit Green Bay. Packers win and they clinch home field throughout. I'm gong to tease the Pack down to be sure of this one. However this is a divisional game and a big ol' rivalry, so if the Pack is ahead in this one, they may go for the blowout. I'll say Packers 33, Chicago 18. Could be a more dominant win than the above prediction.
