Hate to point out the obvious but Walter is neither Nostradamus nor Jesus. If he were right about every pick, he would be on 60 minutes, CNN, and people would be digging through his trash. His reasons for taking the Bengals were very valid and I still agree with them and would take them again. Yes, I lost money on the Bengals but that is the risk i took. What the hell do you people expect? If you don't like the dude's picks, make your own.

KC paid off but this one made no sense what so ever. Cinn is an abomination and i revise my statement and agree with Travis. SF will win more than 6 only because 7-9 will win that horrendous div they are in.. then they will be rolled 1rst round of playoffs...

Not gonna rub it in when I see through this bad 6 unit pick but just wanna say i'd lay anyone 2-1 that really thinks the 49ers will only win 6 games or less this year. Clearly they will win 7+ playing in the terrible NFC west.

This is why they call it gambling instead of surething.

I do not like to load up for or against mediocre teams like Cin or SF and especially not KC against SD.

I do wish you all luck this week because I am honestly staying away from both those games, except of course for the 6 point teaser with the 49ers +9 points and the under 53 in the KC/SD game

The Bungles are ripe for an upset at home. The locker room chaos that has permeated the MArvin Lewis regime continue even after Palmer, Ocho Cinco and TO are gone. This is systemic. Pull back your six units, Walter.

This game really scares me, not only because I'm a bengals fan, but because as a betting proposition, I think this pick is really hard. Yes, the betting trends look to be favouring the bengals, but I think that this game is going to be unpredictable.
With a FG start I am not comfortable as it is easily conceivable that they go 7-0 down, so they have 10 points to make up. I'm sorry, but with a rookie at QB, I just can't be comfortable and confident that he can pull it off from that deficit, as I only see the bengals scoring 20 points max.
Don't get me wrong, I think he can win against the 49ers, but there is no way I would make a large bet on it. This game is all about confidence and having the ability to create something magical in the final 2 minutes of a game.
Yes Dalton did it for TCU, but it needs to be done at the pro level. Until this has been proven, at best, this game is just a coin flip.

CINCINNATI is 1-11 ATS (-11.1 Units) as a favorite over the last 3 seasons.
This game will be close but my stats are leaning on 49ers +3. I advise you guys to not bet big on this play. There are better plays then this and the odds are better. I wouldnt lay down more then 1 unit on this one. Dont get suckered into Walts pick.

Benson won't be suspended for this game, though, pending resolution of his appeal. Open question how the Simpson issues will affect the Bengals. They're a weird bunch traditionally. They kicked a$$ the week that Mike Zimmer's (DC) wife died. They tend to rally internally and this is the home opener. Squares will definitely favor 9'ers in late action is my guess.
