Syracuse at Central Michigan. Line: Syracuse by 6.5. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be). Follow @walterfootball for updates.
If Syracuse weren't a big-name school, Central Michigan might be favored in this matchup. The Orange barely beat Villanova in their opener, while Central Michigan handled Purdue very easily last week.
College Football Pick: Central Michigan +6.5 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Miami of Ohio at Michigan. Line: Michigan by 33.5. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
Here's another overrated big-name school. Michigan was exposed as a horrible team last week when it suffered a 31-0 loss to Notre Dame. The Wolverines put a ton of stock into that game, so I expect them to be flat against Miami of Ohio. This spread is too large.

College Football Pick: Miami of Ohio +33.5 (1 Unit) -- Correct; +$100
Iowa State at Iowa. Line: Iowa by 12. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
Iowa State is 0-2 and Iowa is 2-0, but these teams are pretty even. The Hawkeyes barely escaped with victories over 1-AA Northern Iowa and pedestrian Ball State. The Cyclones, meanwhile, almost upset Kansas State last week. These teams are huge rivals, so this should be a close game.
College Football Pick: Iowa State +12 (1 Unit) -- Correct; +$100
Western Kentucky at Middle Tennessee State. Line: Middle Tennessee State by 1.5. Saturday, 7:00 p.m.
I don't like Middle Tennessee State as a home favorite in this spot. The team put everything into its game versus Minnesota last week as a big underdog, but came up short. MTSU will be flat against a decent Western Kentucky squad.
College Football Pick: Western Kentucky +1.5 (2 Units) -- Incorrect; -$220
Nebraska at Fresno State. Line: Nebraska by 11.5. Saturday, 10:30 p.m.
Fresno State is horrible. It got blown out against both USC and Utah. Nebraska nearly lost last week to McNeese State, but that came after a blowout versus Florida Atlantic. It could be possible that the Huskers were simply looking ahead to flying out to the West Coast.
