Maryland at Florida State. Line: Florida State by 16. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be). Follow @walterfootball for updates.
It's odd to see a 4-0 team as an underdog by more than two touchdowns. I understand Florida State has way more talent than Maryland, but the Terps have defeated all of their opponents, including West Virginia, by double digits.
College Football Pick: Maryland +16 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Clemson at Syracuse. Line: Clemson by 13.5. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
Major trap game for Clemson. Syracuse might be 2-2, but they've been competitive, as Penn State found out in a near-scare during the opener. This should be a tight contest, so I like the home underdog.
College Football Pick: Syracuse +13.5 (2 Units) -- Incorrect; -$220
Missouri at Vanderbilt. Line: Vanderbilt by 1.5. Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Missouri had an easy road to arrive at its 4-0 record, but it's not like Vanderbilt can brag about nearly beating UMass and failing to cover against Austin Peay. I think the wrong team is favored in this matchup.
College Football Pick: Missouri +1.5 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
West Virginia at Baylor. Line: Baylor by 28. Saturday, 8:00 p.m.
As I always say, I love betting on very talented teams coming off byes that get to take on far inferior foes. It's almost always a blowout. Baylor's had a week to prepare for this revenge matchup against West Virginia. The Mountaineers have been blown out this year - they lost to Maryland by 37 a couple of weeks ago - and the Bears can put 70 on the board easily, so I think this is a win of 30-plus for the host.
College Football Pick: Baylor -28 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300
Washington at Stanford. Line: Stanford by 7.5. Saturday, 10:30 p.m.
Everyone expects Stanford to be the team to challenge Oregon in the Pac-12, but I wouldn't sleep on this talented Washington squad. The Huskies are a legitimate 4-0, so I can see them staying within a touchdown.
College Football Pick: Washington +7.5 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
