By the way, the fourth-annual Walter/Joker Annual Challenge is on, as I'll be competing with the Joker's College Picks. We each pick five games and see who does the best each week.
Missouri at Florida Line: Florida by 17. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be); I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
Florida just lost its chance at the national championship. Its season is essentially over. The Gators are going to be flat against Missouri, especially in an early start like this.
College Football Pick: Missouri +17 (1 Unit) -- Correct; +$100
TCU at West Virginia Line: West Virginia by 6. Saturday, 3:00 p.m.
West Virginia was clobbered in consecutive games, but I think a week off is exactly what the team needed to figure things out again. The Mountaineers should be back to form against TCU.
College Football Pick: West Virginia -6 (1 Unit) -- Incorrect; -$110
Texas State at Utah State Line: Utah State by 25.5. Saturday, 3:00 p.m.
Utah State has been clobbering everyone lately and I expect that to continue. I don't think Texas State stands much of a chance.
College Football Pick: Utah State -25.5 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
UMass at Northern Illinois Line: Northern Illinois by 34.5. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
This spread is very high, but this should be an easy blowout for Northern Illinois. The Huskies have clobbered teams far worse than the Minutemen, who are not competitive with anyone.
College Football Pick: Northern Illinois -34.5 (4 Units) -- Correct; +$400
Illinois at Ohio State Line: Ohio State by 27.5. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
I was very impressed with the Buckeyes last week. Penn State had all the dynamics in its favor, yet Ohio State just destroyed its rival. I think that momentum will carry over to this game. This shouldn't be close. Illinois is complete garbage and can't compete with the Buckeyes.
College Football Pick: Ohio State -27.5 (4 Units) -- Correct; +$400
@TER not sure if the Vikes would look past his face punch video after the AP suspension .... PR issues weigh big into teams draft choices...I also agree with Mr. Bitter that he has came off as arrogant and no remorse...even with them settling out of court recently.... He could have killed that girl no matter how anyone spins it...she wasn't a threat and he would do it again IMHO
I am doing a draft as a Vikings fan so no real horse in the first round. I will pick who I think fits the team and who they need. I avoided trades in this mock but there will defiantely be 2 or 3 at least as teams see guys falling. I drafted in a manner where I thought the Browns were not dumb and I also started about 2 and a half weeks before the draft and did not go back if rankings changed or new info came ie the whole 49ers having no idea who they are drafting. I can nto wait for the draft and hopefully the Browns do not screw it up once again for Hue Jackson's sake as look I have Trubisky slipping to 33 as one of the top QBs possibly could
