As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be); I'm just doing these upon request. Follow @walterfootball for updates.

I might as well keep what I wrote last week. Maryland is a mess. The team has endured so many injuries that it's starting a linebacker at quarterback. I don't see how they can be competitive with the Seminoles, who have blown many teams out this year.

Memphis at UAB
Line: UAB by 10.

Why is UAB favored by 10 points? They're 3-7. They won two games in a row, and now we're supposed to buy them as double-digit favorites? I don't think so. I'll take the points.

Wake Forest at Notre Dame
Line: Notre Dame by 24.

I went against Notre Dame last week, but now I'm betting on them. They should be able to demolish a Wake Forest squad that has lost by 29-plus in two of its previous three games.

Stanford at Oregon
Line: Oregon by 20.5.
Saturday, 8:00 p.m.

Oregon owned Stanford even when Andrew Luck was the quarterback. The Ducks score so quickly and should be able to pile up points in the second half to beat the high number.

Everyone's familiar with BYU, but San Jose State has been the western mid-major that has been the most impressive this year. I love getting the Spartans as a home dog in a statement game.
