This is a WalterFootball.com special. I love this situation. You have a home underdog under the weeknight lights where the public is pounding the visitor despite the fact that the spread is moving toward the host's direction. This is a huge game for Mississippi State. I think they win.

Auburn at Clemson
Line: Clemson by 3.5.

I really have to wonder why Clemson is favored in this game. Auburn had a stinker in the opener, so that makes me think that's playing into this line. I don't think that should matter at all; War Eagle had a nice rebound performance last week against Mississippi State. They're the better of the two Tiger teams.

Nick Foles looks lost without his star receiver, Juron Criner. It doesn't look like Criner will play in this game, and even if he does, he won't be 100 percent. This Stanford team is on a mission, and the Wildcats don't have what it takes to stop them.

N. Illinois has put up huge numbers against suspect competition. Vegas to me is unsure of how well WI will play away from home and should be since their defense just lost their starting corner. I love WI this season b/c of Wilson. I am unsure if their defense can have enough stops to win by 20 this week. Running game got stuffed for the 1st half against a porous Oregan St. team. This team will have a better understanding of WI offense, but all that matters is what happens at the point of attack. WI is still a very young team all-around.
