Troy Niklas has reportedly fallen “far behind” in OTAs, thanks to a broken hand. It doesn’t appear as though he’ll be much of a factor at least until the middle of the season, so avoid him in your draft.

Sammy Watkins, WR, Bills Sammy Watkins told the media that he hasn’t developed a strong connection with E.J. Manuel thus far. That’s not a surprise, given that Manuel is a sub-par passing talent. Rookie receivers are always overhyped, so avoid Watkins this year.
JUNE 26
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans 
Ryan Fitzpatrick and DeAndre Hopkins have reportedly developed a strong rapport at OTAs. Hopkins has been taking advantage of Andre Johnson’s absence, and he’s emerging as a potential sleeper receiver. With the focus on the rookie wideouts, the second-year players at that position could provide great value in your draft.
JUNE 25
Jace Amaro, TE, Jets Jace Amaro has reportedly had difficulty adjusting to a pro-style system at OTAs. Some overvalued Amaro throughout the NFL Draft process, but he fell to the second round, where the Jets, who happen to be poor drafters, selected him. Amaro could ultimately pan out, but it’s difficult to imagine him contributing much this year. Don’t bother picking him up in your non-keeper leagues.
JUNE 24
Knowshon Moreno, RB, Dolphins Knowshon Moreno will be out 4-5 weeks because of knee surgery. He could be ready for the start of the regular season, but he’ll have trouble making the final roster. He’s already way behind Lamar Miller on the depth chart. Miami doesn’t have much invested in Moreno, so the coaching staff won’t feel obligated to keep him around or give him touches over Miller.
Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Vikings Greg Jennings revealed that he was told that the team is going to showcase Cordarrelle Patterson. It’s been mentioned before that Norv Turner has spent lots of time designing plays for the second-year speedy wideout. Patterson is ticketed for a big year.
JUNE 23
Trent Richardson, RB, Colts Trent Richardson has shed 15 pounds in an attempt to get more burst this season. Richardson had none in 2013, and he was also unfamiliar with the playbook, so he’s a great buy-low candidate this season. He scored 11 touchdowns for the Browns in 2012, so he’s capable of being an RB2 at the very least.
