FanDuel Exclusive Promotion
We’re partnered up with FanDuel again this upcoming season. With the largest prize pools you’ll find anywhere, FanDuel is the place to go if you want to win some serious cash playing fantasy sports. FanDuel games are played with a salary cap format – all you have to do is pick your players within the set cap, and you can pick a new team every week!
FanDuel is running a contest with $2 million in cash prizes. The winner gets half a million.
Enter the Fan Duel $2 million contest here. I’ve already entered, so you can at least see if you can beat me. Good luck to everyone!
Here’s the lineup I’m using:
Tom Brady, QB, Patriots ($9,100): All four quarterbacks are pretty even this week. I think it has to come down to either Tom Brady and Russell Wilson, as they’re going against the worst defenses. I like the Brady connection with Rob Gronkowski, who will be able to destroy an Indianapolis defense that hasn’t been able to cover tight ends all year.
LeGarrette Blount, RB, Patriots ($5,400): Jonas Gray ran all over the Colts. LeGarrette Blount should be able to do the same thing – as long as he’s given the chance. No one knows what Bill Belichick is going to do, but FanDuel is all about finding upside players for cheap, and Blount certainly qualifies.
Zurlon Tipton, RB, Colts ($5,000): I’m sort of punting this position to have some elite receivers and tight ends. Then again, Tipton could produce; Robert Herron is nursing a shoulder injury, which could limit him a bit. Perhaps Tipton will get a goal-line carry or two.
Randall Cobb, WR, Seahawks ($8,800): Randall Cobb plays the slot, so he won’t see Richard Sherman. That’s certain. Cobb scored a touchdown in the season opener at Seattle, so he could be fantasy’s top wideout this week.
T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts ($8,200): Another stud wideout. T.Y. Hilton will also be able to avoid the opposing elite corner, in all likelihood. Hilton saw Kyle Arrington in the first matchup, so I like his chances of producing big numbers.
Jermaine Kearse, WR, Seahawks ($5,800): One of the Seattle wideouts will have a great outing. It might be Jermaine Kerarse again. It could be Doug Baldwin. Kearse is cheaper though.
Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots ($8,200): This one is a no-brainer. As mentioned, the Colts can’t cover tight ends.
Adam Vinatieri, K, Colts ($4,600): Of the remaining teams, the Patriots have allowed the most points to kickers this year, so that’s why I chose Adam Vinatieri.
Patriots Defense ($4,900): All four defenses have tough matchups this week, but at least the Patriots have a history of dominating Andrew Luck.
