2020 Fantasy Football Rankings - Wide Receivers (Jan. 31):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-40 | 41-60 | 61-100

Other Positions: QB | RB | TE | Top 250 | Sleepers | Busts

  1. Tyreek Hill, WR, Chiefs. Bye: 12.
JULY 19 UPDATE: Tyreek Hill won’t be suspended in 2019, which is huge for Patrick Mahomes. His top target, save for Travis Kelce, looked to be the oft-injured Sammy Watkins or rookie Mecole Hardman. That’s no longer the case. Mahomes was already the top fantasy quarterback this season, but the gap between him and the No. 2 signal-caller has expanded.

JUNE 9 UPDATE: The Johnson County police is no longer pursuing criminal charges against Tyreek Hill, so the dynamic receiver could be back with the team during training camp. Hill is still likely to face a significant suspension, but there’s now a chance to believe that he could play during the latter stretch of 2019.

A horrible audio tape was released of Tyreek Hill that, if authentic, incriminated him in abusing his family members. Hill may never play football again, but I can understand wanting to take a flier on him if he only serves a half-season suspension, or something of that nature.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 92 catches. 1,510 yards. 13 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 239.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 331.

  2. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons. Bye: 9.
Julio Jones had a difficult time scoring touchdowns in the early stages of 2018, but ultimately found the end zone on eight occasions, which tied for second-most in his career. Jones figures to thrive next year with a new offensive coordinator, who will be better than Steve Sarkisian by default. With Atlanta’s offensive line upgraded, Jones will have more opportunities to score.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 105 catches. 1,680 yards. 10 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 238.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 343.

  3. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Texans. Bye: 10.
DeAndre Hopkins was able to play an entire season with a viable starting quarterback for the first time in his career, so it’s not a coincidence that he had his best season as a pro last year. Hopkins will continue to thrive as long as Deshaun Watson is healthy. I thought there was a chance for his touchdown total to increase if the Texans bolstered their offensive line, but that didn’t happen.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 108 catches. 1,550 yards. 12 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 237.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 345.

  4. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers. Bye: 7.
JuJu Smith-Schuster proved that he could post No. 1-type receiver numbers this past season. Now, he’s actually going to be the No. 1 receiver in Pittsburgh going forward. With Antonio Brown gone, Smith-Schuster’s numbers will take a huge leap in 2019. He’s my No. 1 fantasy wideout.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 114 catches. 1,540 yards. 11 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 236.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 350.

  5. Odell Beckham, WR, Browns. Bye: 7.
Odell Beckham Jr. caught 77 passes for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns last season. He played in 12 games, missing the final four with an injury. Beckham’s stock has risen in the wake of his move to Cleveland, as he’ll be playing with a much better quarterback than Eli Manning.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 105 catches. 1,470 yards. 13 total TD.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 235.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 340.

  6. Davante Adams, WR, Packers. Bye: 11.
Davante Adams just eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. He hauled in 111 balls for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2018 despite Aaron Rodgers not being 100 percent. Adams will post equal or better numbers in 2019 if Rodgers remains healthy, but that’s a big “if.”

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 108 catches. 1,390 yards. 13 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 229.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 337.

  7. Michael Thomas, WR, Saints. Bye: 9.
Michael Thomas is coming off an amazing season in which he hauled in 125 receptions for 1,405 yards and nine touchdowns. There’s a chance of Drew Brees regressing now that he’s 40 years old, but Brees should still play well enough to keep Thomas at WR1 status.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 110 catches. 1,370 yards. 11 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 228.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 338.

  8. Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers. Bye: 7.
Despite Dirk Koetter nonsensically yo-yoing the two quarterbacks last year, Mike Evans posted career-best numbers, accumulating 1,524 yards. He caught eight touchdowns, down from 12 in 2016, but he’ll have a chance to reach that figure in 2019 if Bruce Arians helps Jameis Winston.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 84 catches. 1,430 yards. 10 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 213.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 297.

  9. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings. Bye: 12.
AUG. 19 UPDATE: Adam Thielen was fantastic in the second preseason game. He hauled in an over-the-shoulder bomb for 34 yards, beating cornerback Shaq Griffin. He followed that up by drawing a deep pass interference penalty. Thielen ended up with three receptions for 45 yards on just two drives. Thielen has been going later than he should in the fantasy mock drafts I’ve done this summer, so I imagine I’ll end up with him on many of my teams.

I expected Adam Thielen’s numbers to decline with Kirk Cousins, as Cousins surely wouldn’t throw to the slot as much as Case Keenum did. So much for that! Thielen reeled in a career-high 113 balls for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns. His numbers took a bit of a dip in the second half of the season, but with Minnesota having a better offensive line, Thielen should be able to bounce back.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 108 catches. 1,380 yards. 9 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 202.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 310.

  10. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers. Bye: 12.
Remember when Keenan Allen was seen as injury-prone? He hasn’t missed a game in the past two seasons. He’s hauled in 199 total receptions in the past two years combined, though he hasn’t topped six touchdowns in either year. There’s always a chance that could change, though Mike Williams will continue to see more goal-line looks.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 103 catches. 1,320 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 199.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 302.
