2019 Fantasy Football Rankings - Tight Ends (Aug. 29):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-45

Other Positions: QB | RB | WR | Top 250

  1. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs. Bye: 12.
Travis Kelce has continued to improve yearly, and he’s coming off his best season yet. He hauled in 103 balls for 1,336 yards and 10 touchdowns, thanks to Patrick Mahomes’ dynamic passing. Kelce will continue to be a dominant force, and his numbers figure to increase in the wake of Tyreek Hill’s legal and personal problems.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 101 catches. 1,300 yards. 10 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 174.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 274.

  2. George Kittle, TE, 49ers. Bye: 4.
George Kittle had a monster sophomore campaign, tallying 88 catches for 1,377 yards and five touchdowns last year despite playing with Jimmy Garoppolo for only three games. Kittle’s yardage will regress to the mean next year, but his touchdown total could rise if Garoppolo stays healthy.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 90 catches. 1,100 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 153.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 243.

  3. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles. Bye: 10.
Zach Ertz broke the record for receptions for a tight end in a single season, snatching 116 balls for 1,163 yards and eight touchowns. Ertz is likely to see a regression to the mean, especially with Dallas Goedert seeing more snaps, but he’s still one of the top fantasy tight ends.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 91 catches. 1,010 yards. 9 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 150.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 241.

  4. Evan Engram, TE, Giants. Bye: 11.
Evan Engram was a bit of a disappointment this past season, but picked up his play toward the end of the year when Odell Beckham Jr. was out of the lineup. Engram’s positive late-year production could be a sign of things to come with Beckham out of the picture.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 80 catches. 990 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 142.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 222.

  5. Jared Cook, TE, Saints. Bye: 9.
Jared Cook had a big year with 68 catches for 896 yards and six touchdowns last year, showing great chemistry with Derek Carr. Cook should have far more success in New Orleans with Drew Brees throwing to him.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 73 catches. 920 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 135.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 208.

  6. O.J. Howard, TE, Buccaneers. Bye: 7.
O.J. Howard missed the final six weeks of the season because of foot injuries. He was having a great year with 34 receptions for 565 yards and five touchdowns, which translates to 54 receptions, 904 yards and eight scores. He should continue to improve now that he’s entering his third season.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 68 catches. 910 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 134.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 202.

  7. Hunter Henry, TE, Chargers. Bye: 12.
Hunter Henry missed all of 2018 with a torn ACL. With Antonio Gates presumably out of the picture, Henry is due for a big bounce-back season.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 65 catches. 800 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 123.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 188.

  8. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Lions. Bye: 5.
T.J. Hockenson has great potential, and he’ll catch tons of short passes from Matthew Stafford. I’m not a huge fan of using rookie tight ends in fantasy, but Hockenson can be used as a rookie, and his long-term potential is enormous.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 64 catches. 720 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 114.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 178.

  9. Austin Hooper, TE, Falcons. Bye: 9.
We’ve been waiting for Austin Hooper to take the next step, and that finally happened this past season. Hooped logged 71 catches for 660 yards and four touchdowns. Hooper’s scoring total could rise in 2019 with a better offensive coordinator. Matt Ryan will also have better pass protection, which means more trips into the red zone.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 72 catches. 750 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 111.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 183.

  10. David Njoku, TE, Browns. Bye: 7.
David Njoku has plenty of potential, but he made a number of mistakes last season. He caught 56 passes for 639 yards and four touchdowns, but his stats could’ve been much better. There’s a chance he’ll make a leap in 2019, especially with Baker Mayfield having some experience under his belt.

Projected 2019 Fantasy Stats: 65 catches. 740 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2019 Fantasy Points: 110.
Projected 2019 PPR Fantasy Points: 175.
