MAY 31
Isaiah Pead, RB, Rams 
Isaiah Pead has been suspended one game for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. Pead was already viewed as a non-factor, but this helps solidify that.
MAY 30
Trent Richardson, RB, Browns Trent Richardson is going to be out for a couple of weeks with some sort of sore muscle. It’s not a serious malady, but one has to wonder why he’s always banged up. I’ll be honest: If I end up drafting Richardson in the first round, I’ll be pretty terrified that I won’t even get 14 games out of him.
MAY 29
Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots Rob Gronkowski will undergo back surgery in mid-June. He’s expected to be out for 10 weeks after that, putting his Week 1 status at risk. Gronkowski should not go in the first six rounds of your fantasy draft. He’s had way too many health problems in his career, and this offseason has proven to be quite disastrous.
Arian Foster, RB, Texans Updating yesterday’s item, Arian Foster is on crutches and is out until training camp. Foster should be ready for the season opener, but this is a bad omen for a running back who led the league in carries the year before and also has an extensive history of leg injuries.
Joe Morgan, WR, Saints Joe Morgan was arrested for DUI. His BAC registered 0.218. Morgan, considered a late-round sleeper, might be out of the running for the No. 3 receiving job in New Orleans.
Ben Tate, RB, Texans 
Arian Foster is out until training camp with a calf injury. This will give Ben Tate a chance to shine in OTAs. Tate didn’t do much last year because he was hurt, so this means that he could be a value pick later in your fantasy draft.
MAY 28
Frank Gore, RB, 49ers Frank Gore missed some OTAs because he’s “working through a little something,” according to Jim Harbaugh. It doesn’t sound like it’s a big deal, but every injury to a running back is worth noting – especially when the running back in question has an extensive injury history.
Arian Foster, RB, Texans Arian Foster suffered a calf strain during Wednesday’s practice. It wasn’t received as a big deal by the coaching staff or players, but injuries to running backs must be noted. I’m not dropping Foster in my 2013 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings or anything, but it should be noted that the league leader in carries is already banged up.
