This is the 2024 NFL Combine Stock Report for the tight ends. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State
Everyone made a big deal about Devin Culp’s 4.47 40, but Culp weighs just 231 pounds. What Theo Johnson did was more impressive. Johnson, at 259 pounds, ran a 4.57 40 with the same 10-yard split (1.55) as Culp. And unlike Culp, Johnson participated in the jumping drills, where he notched a 39.5-inch vertical and a 10-5 broad jump.

Tip Reiman, TE, Illinois
Tip Reiman was the heaviest of all the tight ends at the combine (6-5, 271), yet he was able to blaze a 40 in 4.64 seconds. He also posted a solid 3-cone time of 7.02. He notched a 10-1 broad jump and a 33.5-inch vertical as well. Reiman was great in the drills, particularly when he was moving the sled with ease.

Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
More was expected from Ja’Tavion Sanders, who may not be the No. 2 tight end off the board after all. He ran a 4.69 at 245 pounds, which isn’t terrible, but isn’t great either. Sanders also didn’t participate in the jumping drills.

Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State
Ben Sinnott’s 40 time was just fine – he ran a 4.68 at 250 pounds – but he shined elsewhere. He recorded the fastest 3-cone time among tight ends at 6.82 seconds. He also recorded a 40-inch vertical and a 10-6 broad jump.
