This is the 2024 NFL Combine Stock Report for the running backs. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Trey Benson is known as a downhill runner who can shoulder an entire workload. He was not known as someone who could run a 4.3, but that’s exactly what he did with his 4.39. His 10-yard split was also an excellent 1.52. On top of that, Benson notched a 10-2 broad jump and looked great in the drills.

Ray Davis didn’t post any measureables that stand out – he ran a 4.52 at 211 pounds and posted a 35-inch verticals – but he was one of the best performers in the on-field drills. He definitely helped his draft stock in Indianapolis despite not testing great athletically.

Audric Estime wasn’t expected to run a great 40, but a 4.71 was shockingly slow. It wasn’t all bad for Estime, who notched a 38-inch vertical and a 10-5 broad jump, but the 4.71 really stands out as a poor result.

Isaac Guerendo displayed his incredible athleticism at the combine. He ran the fastest 40 of all the running backs, sprinting a 4.33. He also posted some incredible jumping numbers with a 41.5-inch vertical and a 10-9 broad jump.

While George Holani’s 40 time didn’t stand out – he ran a 4.52 at 208 pounds – he posted some excellent leaping numbers with a 39-inch vertical and a 10-7 broad jump. More importantly, Holani was one of the winners of the on-field drills.

Dillon Johnson was one of the worst testing running backs at the combine. He ran a 4.68 with a very slow 10-yard split of 1.62. His leaping numbers weren’t any better, as he posted a 31.5-inch vertical and a 9-9 broad jump.

Rich Eisen joked about MarShawn Lloyd being the fastest Marshawn at the combine since 2003, but Lloyd performed very well. Lloyd breezed a 4.46 40, which is very impressive, given his 220-pound frame. Lloyd also notched a 36-inch vertical.

Tyrone Tracy tested very well at the combine. He ran a 4.48 40 with a 1.53 10-yard split. His other numbers were great, as he notched a 40-inch vertical and a 10-4 broad jump.

Kimani Vidal’s 40 time at the combine was excellent, as he registered a 4.46 at 213 pounds. He also clocked in a 1.53 10-yard split to go along with a 37.5-inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump. More importantly, Vidal looked sharp in the on-field drills.

Jaylen Wright was the final running back to test at the combine, but he posted some terrific numbers. He ran a 4.38 with a 1.55 10-yard split, and he also notched a 38-inch vertical and an 11-2 broad jump.
